Tyvral, Ashoka, Shargo, Commander Kart, Captain Maw, and Admiral Sato stood around the holotable.
"I can reach him, it's not a big deal," snapped Tyvral.
"The storm is too great, you must wait," stated Shargo.
Tyvral looked from his master to Admiral Sato, "Admiral the storm isn't that bad is it?"
"I defer to the general," stated Admiral Sato.
Tyvral groaned in frustration and stormed away from them. Shargo shambled after him, "Tyvral". His apprentice stopped in the hallway, and cast a long look at his master.
"I could get him back," he insisted.
"Patience," said Shargo.
"Dev can't wait!" shouted Tyvral and he took off running.
Shargo raised his hand to force pull him, but then he slowly bent his arm towards himself and activated his com.
Tyvral walked onto the republic shuttle ship and hit the button to close the ramp. As the ramp moved up, Kart sprinted and jumped in. Tyvral spun around at the sudden noise and looked at the commander, "What are you doing here?!"
"Coming with you," stated Kart adjusting his helmet.
"I can do it myself, so just go!" snapped Tyvral.
Kart pondered it, "Well we're both commanders, so you can't give me orders".
Tyvral glared at Kart for several seconds and finally snapped, "Fine".
"Admiral Sato! We have an unauthorized departure from hanger twelve!" shouted a clone naval officer.
Sato looked at Shargo sharply, "I thought that you spoke to your padawan. Send out fighters and bring him back, we don't need the separatist getting him".
"No," said Shargo. They all looked at him stunned, "Let them go, we will descend once the storm lets up".
Admiral Sato looked at Shargo in stunned silence for several seconds before saying: "Very well".
The ship rocked wildly as it was pelted by rain and slammed with waves of wind. "Maybe this wasn't a good idea," said Kart.
"It's fine," said Tyvral.
"I got a bad feeling about this," muttered Kart.
A bolt of lightning crack through the air and struck the shuttle. The shuttle plummeted towards the ground and they were pressed back in their seats. "EJECT!" yelled Kart and they both pulled their levers. Their seats shot out and spheres formed around them. They began bouncing around on the rocky surface of the planet, once they came to a stop the spheres opened up.
"Maybe this was a bad idea," said Tyvral.
Kart pointed towards behind him, "There's a cave over there, let's get shelter".
Tyvral nodded and the pair ran in the cave.
"Sir we're picking up a signal of a crash in sector nineteen," said a B1 battle droid.
"Send a squad to investigate," said the tactical droid.
Kart and Tyvral sat in the cave, both drenched. "Why are you here?" asked Tyvral.
"The general said to keep an eye on you," said Kart setting down his helmet.
Tyvral looked at Kart bashfully, "Well thanks, for coming".
Kart smiled, "Anytime kid".
Lightning cracked outside and Tyvral activated his lightsaber knocking away a blaster bolt that nearly struck Kart. Five B1 battle droids and a super battle droid walked towards them blasting. Kart pulled out his DC-15A which was on his back and began firing on the droids. He instantly shot two of the B1 droids and kept firing while Tyvral blocked the incoming blaster bolts.
"Sir, the squad is reporting a Jedi and a clone in a cave," said a B1 battle droid.
"Send a battalion after them, we cannot let them escape!" shouted the tactical droid.
"A battalion you don't think that's a bit much?" asked the B1.
"NOW!" yelled the tactical droid.
The super battle droid fell to the ground after two more shots from Kart and Tyvral sighed. "I'm sorry I got you in this".
"Don't worry about it kid," said Kart. He lowered his visor and gazed into the cave. "Can you move those boulders?"
"Sure thing, where you want them?" asked Tyvral.
"Mouth of the cave," said Kart.
Tyvral lifted his hand and one after the other lifted the boulders. Each one thudding as they were piled up at the mouth of the cave. Soon the pile was at waist height and Kart nodded at Tyvral, "Perfect".
Tyvral looked out into the stormy darkness and his eyes widened, "And not a moment too soon!"
The battle droids walked in unison, each step thundering and they opened fire on the cave.
Tyvral and Kart slid so that they were under the rocks as the red lasers flew over their heads. Kart popped up and fired quickly before ducking back down.
Tyvral raised a clawed hand and force pulled a stalactite from the ceiling. He threw it into the rainy darkness and the stalactite ran through several battle droid. "Got any grenades?" he asked Kart.
Kart pulled one from the back of his armor, "Just one".
"Throw it, I'll check your aim!" shouted Tyvral as thunder roared.
Kart nodded, poked his head up, and threw the grenades.
Tyvral waved his hand and the grenade moved to the left a bit before it struck in the middle of a squad. The droids and their parts flew in several directions.
The blaster bolts continued to fly over their head as the droids got closer. A battle droid ran towards them and threw a grenade. It flew over their heads and struck further back in the cave. The cave rumbled wildly, and Kart popped up giving the battle droid a blast in retribution.
"This cave can't take another blast like that!" shouted Kart as he took cover again.
"You got any ideas?" asked Tyvral.
"Not yet," said Kart. He moved over a few feet before popping up again and firing at the droids.
Tyvral closed his eyes and lifted up one of the boulders, which made up the wall, with the force. He threw it at the droids and it smashed through several.
Kart shot down a few more droids, which continued their march forward.
Tyvral threw another rock, yet the vast majority of the battalion was still intact.
"I got an idea," said Kart as he ducked back under the rocks.
"I'm open to anything," said Tyvral.
"Lift up two rocks, I'll run behind them and draw their fire. Then you throw the rest of the rocks and cut them up," he said.
"Ok let me know when you're ready," said Tyvral.
Kart positioned himself, and put away his rifle instead opting to pull out his pistols. Then he nodded to Tyvral.
Tyvral lifted up the boulders and Kart ran out of the cave rapidly firing at the droids. The droids fired at him but the boulders took all of the blasts. Tyvral stood to keep line of sight and winced as he kept the boulders in front of Kart.
A super battle droid saw the Jedi stand and raised his rocket arm, then he fired.
