Jeanette stands behind Kai's chair, holding it as Nya drives the Land Bounty. "How much farther till we get to the Ice Castle?" She asks.

"It's hard to tell without a proper map." Nya answered.

Jeanette just taps on Kai's chair gently. "Do you guys really believe that Lloyd is still alive?" Her voice is small.

Both siblings turn to her. "He is!" Kai said firmly. "And so is Zane!" He reached over to gently pat her arm. "We all know Lloyd." He added gently, just as they hear Jay's cry and a crash coming from the back of the Bounty. "If there's one thing I know about Lloyd, he won't give up on a friend. Doesn't matter the danger. Lloyd will take the challenge."

Jeanette smiled, before throwing her arms around him. "Thanks Kai!"

"Lloyd is too stubborn to quite!" Nya added.

A beeping from the rador had Jeanette pull away from Kai. "What's that?" She asks, pointing to the screen, a blimp had appeared on the rador.

"Something ahead." Nya answered, also seeing it. "Some sort of structure." Looking out the windshield, the three can see the Ice Castle. "Almost there. The Ice Emperor's Castle."

"Yeah, that definitely looks like a spooky castle where an evil Ice Emperor would live." Kai turned to his sister, then turned to Jeanette with a slight smile.

"Better tell the others." Nya said.

Jeanette turned around towards the back. "Guys, buckle up. We're close."

Both Jay and Cole run up to their chairs. Jeanette walks up to Krag.

"Krag, you need to stop playing now. It's time to get in your seat." She told him. Krag looks around, but continues to play the video game. Jeanette gets between the creature and the video game. "Krag!" Krag growls and continues to play. "This would be so much easier if you were one of my kids." Jeanette folds her arms. "Do not growl at me, mister! That is not acceptable! I'll revoke your video game privilages!"

Krag finally turns to her and shakes his head vigorously.

"Good." Jeanette points to his seat. "Sit!" Krag sits down, grumbling as he does.

Jeanette then walks back to the others and takes her seat.

"Wow!" Jay cried, after he and Cole had watched. "What's a better term then soccer mom?" He asks.

"Super mom!" Cole answered with a grin.

"I have two kids." Jeanette smirked at the two. "Cole. You and Nya have one."

"Yep. Jeanette and Lloyd beats us." Cole agrees, folding his arms. "Do not mess with the power couple! If I even plant another one in Nya, I don't know who'll kill me more! Kai, or Master Wu!"

The sensor in the Bounty suddenly beeps, gaining everyone's attention. "Got something on rador!" Nya exclaimed. "Something big, moving fast!"

"What?" Kai turns to her. "What is it?"

Nya turns to look at him. "Well, it isn't a welcoming committee."

"I'm on it!" Her brother rushes out.

Kai throws on his hood and runs up the steps, jumping onto the cannon. He looks around and and sees the dragon. "INCOMING!" He screamed, before firing a shot and it hits the dragon. The dragon heads straight for them, blasting out ice.

Nya gasps and steers out of the way just in time, the dragon whips around and catches up to them, covering one of the sides of the Land Bounty with ice.

"Kai, do something!" Jeanette cried. "That thing just froze half the Land Bounty!"

"Unh! I'm trying!" He fires several shots, some hit the dragon while others miss. "It's not doing anything. Hai-yah!" The dragon whips to the front of the Bounty and heads straight for Kai. "Ahhh!" He jumps out of the way and the dragon rips the cannon apart from the Bounty.

The scanner inside the Bounty flashes a warning signal. "What was that? What happened?" Nya asks with worry. "Did you get him?"

Kai watchs the dragon fly away with the cannon. "Uh, not exactly." The dragon drops the cannon and it smashes to pieces. Kai runs back inside the Bounty and leaps inside just in time to avoid the dragon's claws. "Ahh!" He throws off his hood and braces for the next incident. The dragon rips off the top part of the Bounty, causing the Ninja to scream.

"Aah! Dragon, dragon, dragon!" Jay cries. Kai and Krag gasp as they watch the dragon fly away with the top part of the Bounty. Kai runs back to the console as Krag things, then covers his head, whimpering. The dragon drops the part on the Bounty.

"Ahh!" The Ninja scream, but Nya is able to keep the Bounty forward. The dragon flies ahead and turns around to freeze them, Nya gasps and accelerates, dodging the blast. The dragon continues to chase them around and the Ninja lean left, then right while Krag slides back and forth in the back. "Ahh!"

Nya glances ahead and eventually sees a big ice ledge.

"Nya, what are you doing?" Jay cried in fear, while Cole's teeth starts chattering, Jeanette hugging him, while Kai is covering his eyes.

"Hang on, everyone!" She accelerates and whips the Bounty around, racing it up the ledge. It leaps straight at the dragon who is conjuring another ball of ice, but it cuts out the blow, inside the Bounty the team falls or is thrown in different directions while Nya stays at the wheel. Finally they come to a stop on top of the dragon.

"We should've worn seatbelts." Jay groaned.

Kai groaned as he slowly pushed himself to his feet. "Everyone ok?" He asks, looking around. "Sis? Cole?"

Cole sat up, rubbing his head. "Can this thing stay fixed for like a day?"

"Cole, get off me, you're too heavy!" Jeanette cried, struggling to push him off. Krag gently grabs Cole and sets him down on his feet, then picks up Jeanette and sets her on her feet.

"Sorry Jen." He apologizes.

"You have to lay off the cake." She told him, rubbing her head.

Cole sighed, then a thought struck him. "Nya!" He rushes to her to find her shivering in fear at the driver's seat. "Babe." He places a hand on her shoulder. "It's ok."

"The dragon?" She asks, voice shaken as she turns to look at him.

"History!" Cole smiles. "It's over."

Nya sighs and rips her fierce grip off the handles.

"I would also feel better if Kai could just melt that dragon." Jeanette said as Nya fell into Cole's arm and the water Ninja clung to him tightly.

"I would love to!" Kai said, turning to her. "But my powers are still weak." He holds out his hand. "See? Look." He brings out a flame. "It's still weak."

Jeanette looks up at him. "I'm sorry."

He smiled, lowering his hand. "Don't be. I can feel it growing. I don't know when it'll be back at full power yet." He places a hand on her shoulder. "But it's getting there."

The Ninja and Krag jump out of the Land Bounty. "I hope PIXAL wasn't expecting us to bring the Bounty back in one piece or anything." Cole said nervously, as Nya walked up to the dragon.

"Nya, don't touch it!" Jeanette gasped, just as Nya did.

"It's ice. It's pure ice!" She turns to the others. "It's an Elemental creation!"

"What?" Kai questions.

"Are you sure?" Cole asks.

"The Emperor must be an Elemental Master of Ice, just like Zane! What are the odds?" Jay asked.

"Oh no! How could I be so foolish?" A thought struck Nya hard.

"What?" Jeanette asks.

"The Emperor." Nya walks up to them. "What if he's not an Ice Elemental like Zane?"

Jeanette's eyes widen and she gasped. "You mean he is Zane?!"

"Yes!" Nya nods.

Kai, Cole, Jay and Krag gasp.

"What?" Cole demands.

"Zane would never hurt anyone." Kai said.

"Our friend Zane would never." Jeanette agreed. "But a corrupted Zane would!"

Nya nods. "Jen's right. Zane was holding the Scroll Of Forbidden Spinjitzu when Aspheera blasted him into the Never Realm!"

"Which Master Wu said would corrupt anyone whoever held it." Cole added, catching on.

"What about the time difference?" Jay asked. "How do you explain that?"

"We can't. But it's the only thing that adds up." Nya said. "Somehow, Zane is the Ice Emperor."

"We gotta warn Lloyd before he g."- Kai cuts off when the dragon awakes and tosses the Land Bounty off him. "RUN!" The teams sprints off and leap out of the way as the dragon blasts his ice. He smacks his tail against Kai and Jeanette, the two sail through the air. "Ahhh!" The two land hard on the snow covered ground. "Ungh!"

"KAI!" Nya cries, the dragon crawls after her.

"NYA!" Cole screams. Jay blasts his lightning at the dragon, but there's no effect at all.

Cole sees the Land Bounty and powers up his Earth Punch. "Hunh-yah!" Krag punches the Land Bounty and the dragon leaps into the air, blasting ice at them, they jump away.

Nya finally reaches Kai and Jeanette, who are both knocked out cold. "Kai, say something!" She kenlts down next to Kai, who's lying on his back and his right hand resting on his chest. Jeanette laid next to him, on her stomach. "Kai!" Nya grabs his arm, she turns when the dragon lands behind her. Nya sees the ice stalactites.

"I am Nya, Master of Water. I am Nya, Master Of Water. I am Nya, Master Of Water! And you will obey!" She chants as she holds her hands out towards the stalactites, her hands glowing. The stalactites break off and plung down, covering the dragon.

"Nya! You did it!" Jay cheered, now cradling Jeanette.

Cole grabs Nya and hugs her. "Haha! I knew you could do it!" Their victory is quickly shortened when the ice starts moving and the dragon burst out of the stalactites. Kai wakes up, his vision blurred as he sees the dragon.

"I'm sorry." Nya's voice is shaken. "I tried."

"No." Kai rolls to his side to find Jeanette still out cold, a gash on the side of her face, he reaches out to wipe the blood that slid down. He turns to see Jay firing his lightning, but the dragon blocks it. "No." His hands ball into fists as he conjures up his fire and his eyes glow red. "No MORE!" The dragon blasts his ice and Kai spreads his fire, engulfing him in it. The dragon burst into water and disappears.

As he pants, Kai's eyes return to normal and he falls back. Nya and Cole catch him.

"Your powers, Kai!" Nya smiles brightly. "They're back!"

Jay laughs as he gathers Jeanette into his arms as he stands up. "Better late then never!"

"Come on! Let's get to Zane and Lloyd!" Cole said. The team rushes towards the castle.

As the Ninja near the castle, they pause when a blast of ice cold like a shockwave slams into them, knocking them back a little.

"What was that!?" Jay cried. Krag is now holding Jeanette.

"I don't know." Nya said as they continued into the castle and meet up with Grimfax and Kataru. "I don't think it was anything good though!"

Everyone charges into the thrown room.

"Kataru!" Akita cries, seeing her brother and runs for him.

"Akita!" He swings her up as he hugs her.

The Ninja rush over to Lloyd and Zane. "Zane!" Nya cries.

"Lloyd!" Kai smiles. The Ninja run up to the two and hug them. Krag smiles as he watches them, while still cradling Jeanette.

After pulling away from the hug, Lloyd sees Jeanette. "Jen!" He gasps as he rushes up to Krag, who gently lays Jeanette onto the floor. Lloyd knelt down next to her, as the Ninja hurry up to stand behind him. "Jen?" He gently places a hand on her bruise.

Zane knelt down next to Lloyd, he reaches out to gently touch the side of her face, she winces at the metal touch and slowly opens her eyes.

She gasps as she looks around, and slowly sits up. "Zane!" She smiles brightly, seeing him then her eyes land on Lloyd. "Lloyd!" She throws her arms around both of them, hugging both tightly.

"Now this is what being a Ninja is all about!" Cole said with a big smile, his arm around Nya's waist and his other arm around Kai's shoulders.

It was now a few weeks later. Jeanette was still recovering, she's sitting in a room inside Sorla's home. "Come in!" She calls when there's a knock on her door. Jeanette watches as the door opens and her face brightens as Lloyd walks in. "Lloyd!"

"How are you?" He asks as he walks up to the bed, and perches himself on it.

"I'm ok." She nods with a smile. "Sorla's healing could give your uncle's healing tea a run for its money."

Lloyd chuckles. "Don't tell him that." His smile fades as he gently takes her hands. "I'm sorry." He said.

She frowns. "For what?"

"For not letting you come with me." He explained. "We argued about it! I didn't want you to get hurt." He squeezed her hands. "Or worse."

"Baby, I'm ok." Jeanette said gently, squeezing his hands. "I would've gotten hurt out there with you, or here in the village."

Smiling Lloyd leans down, kissing her gently and her arms wrap and lock around his neck, pulling him closer. After a long while, they pull away the hug tightly.

A few more days past. The Ninja and Krag walk into Sorla's home where she's inspecting the Traveler's Tree flowers.

Sorla shakes her head sadly. "I have consulted the spirits of the Hearth Fire and I have learned of this Ninjago. It is far from here. The leaves of the Traveler's Tree will not have the strength to bear you home."

"We can't go home?" Jeanette repeats worriedly. Lloyd wraps his arm around her.

"There's always a way." He tells her gently.

"How many more leaves will it take?" Nya questions.

"It is no use. No amount of leaves will suffice. If we only had something more portent." Sorla answers.

The Ninja look crestfallen, and Jeanette lays her head on Lloyd's chest as he hugs her tightly. Then a thoughtful look crosses her face and she pulls away from Lloyd as she searches her pockets.

"Sorla, what about this?" She walks up to the elder and opens her hand to reveal the berry, Sorla smiles causing the team to cheer.

"Yes, my dear!" She gently takes the berry. "It will work!"

Skylor sighs as she cligs to a picture of herself and Kai. PIXAL hurries over to her.

"Skylor, you need to come see this!"

Skylor puts the picture away and hurries out of the monastery, meeting up with Wu and PIXAL to find a portal and the outlines the Ninja walking through.

"It's them! They're back!" Wu exclaims as he, PIXAL, and Skylor each hug them.

"Kai!" Skylor cries and the two hug tightly.

"Missed you!" He kisses her gently.

"Zane!" Master Wu hurries up to him and hugs him, Zane has a moment of confusion, but quickly snaps out of it.

"Master Wu! It is good to see you!"

Wu pulls away as he wipes his eyes. "You too, Zane! You too!"

"Zane!" PIXAL runs up and jumps on him.

"Wha-ah!" He laughs.

Wu turns to the other Ninja. "Welcome home. all of you."

PIXAL frowns. "Where are Jeanette and Lloyd?"

Zane turns back to the portal. "Saying goodbye to friends."

"It's been fun, big guy." Jeanette smiles a little as she looks up at Krag. Krag whimpers, begging for a hug. "Ok, give Jeanette a hug." Krag picks her up and happily squeezes him. "Whoa! Ok, ok. Take it easy!" Krag puts Jeanette down gently.

Jeanette walks up to Sorla. "Will we get to meet again?"

Sorla smiles gently at her. "If the Gods wish for it, then it will happen." She pulls Jeanette into a hug. "Goodbye, child." She pulls away.

Jeanette smiles, she turns to look at Krag.

"Krag has a home here." Sorla reassured her gently. "In the village."

Jeanette smiles with a nod, she turns to walk over to Lloyd just as Akita kisses his cheek.

Lloyd blinks several times, just as Jeanette walks up to takes his arm, hugging his arm.

"Come with us." Jeanette overs kindly.

Akita smiles at the offer, but it fades. "You are very kind." She turns to see her brother standing nearby.

"Only you can choose your own path." Kataru told his sister. "Whatever you choose, I will honor it." Akita turns back around.

"Lloyd has told me about your brother." She said to Jeanette, who blinks and looks down. "Do you miss him?"

Jeanette lifted her head to look at the other girl. "Yes."

Akita turns to look at her brother again, then back at Jeanette. "I'm need to be here." She said as she took a step backwards.

Lloyd nods. "We understand."

Jeanette nods with her own smile. "Take care of yourselves. Look over each other."

Akita smiles. "And you do the same."

Jeanette turns to Lloyd. "I wanna go home now."

He smiles. "Yeah." He takes her hand, threading their fingers together. "Let's go home."

Together, the two run for the portal and jump into it, disappearing.

At the monastery, the Ninja cheer as Lloyd and Jeanette return just as the portal closes.

"They made it!" Jay cheers.

"Yeah!" Cole cries, and the two high five.

"Lloyd!" Wu hurries up to the blonde.

"Master Wu!" Lloyd pauses. "Ah, uncle, no Master." He stutters nervously as Jeanette and PIXAL hug.

Wu chuckles. "Nephew, it is good to have you home." He pulls him into a tight hug. "And I forgive you!"

Lloyd smiles, quickly returning the hug. "That means a lot right now, Uncle."
