Nick: He abused you? Joe would never do such a thing. I never seen him be rough with you. He was only being gently.
Demi: That was when we were dating… A few months after our marriage… he started getting drunk and abusing me.
Nick: Do you have any proof of him hitting you and know the reason why he started all this?
Demi: I still have light bruises from when he was hitting me but I don't know why he started doing this… Every time I try to ask him why… he would get really angry and hard beating me again *started sobbing, remembering the memory and shows the bruises*
