Chapter 23-The sickness
Billy Murphy Westley Wells Octavia Clarke and Bellamy walk into the dropship. "Everybody but Connor and Derek out now," Billy says. Everybody nods as they leave. The only people left were Billy Murphy Westley Wells Octavia Clarke Bellamy Connor Derek and Drax.
"He claims he was with the grounders," Derek tells them.
"We caught him trying to sneak back into camp," Octavia tells them.
"I wasn't sneaking. I was running from grounders," Drax tells him.
"Anybody see any grounders?" Billy asks
"Uh-uh," Westley says.
"Well, in that case-," Murphy says as he pulls out his gun.
"Hey, What the hell are you doing?" Finn asks.
"I was clear on what happened if he came back," Murphy says.
"No. If he was with the grounders, he knows things that can help us," Wells says.
"Help us? I banished him," Murphy says.
"No, Wells is right," Billy says. Murphy looks at him for a moment before he lowers his gun.
"The grounders know were at war. What did you tell them about us?" Clarke asks.
"Everything," Drax tells them.
"Once he's better, we find out what he knows, then he's out of here," Billy says.
"What if he refuses to leave?" Bellamy asks.
"Then we kill him," Billy tells him. Bellamy knocks as they leave. Monty storms into Athena's work tent.
"What's wrong?" Athena asks him.
"Jasper, he's a dick. Even after Billy put him on food duty. Is your tent open?" Monty asks.
"Yeah. Jasper is just going through a stage. Give him some time. He'll realize how important you are to him," Athena tells him. Monty nods. Outside, Billy walks inside the dropship and looks at Clarke. There was blood coming down Clarke's eyes.
"Clarke your eyes," Billy tells her. Clarke puts her hand up to her eye. Connor then comes in.
"Help me," Connor says. He also had blood coming down his eyes.
"Billy get out," Clarke tells Billy, who nods. Drax starts to vomit and cough.
"Murphy, hey, look at me. I need you to tell me exactly how you escaped from the Grounders. What happened?" Clarke asks.
"I don't know. I woke up, and they forgot to lock my cage. There was no one there, so I took off," Drax tells her. Bellamy and Billy come in.
"Stay back," Clarke says.
"What the hell is this?" Bellamy asks.
"Biological warfare. You were waiting for the Grounders to retaliate for the bridge? This is it. Drax is the weapon," Billy says.
"Is this your revenge helping the grounders kill us?" Bellamy asks.
"I didn't know I swear," Drax says.
"Stop lying when are they coming?" Bellamy asks.
"Drax, think, all right? What can you tell us that's useful? Did you hear anything?" Billy asks the man.
"They are vicious cruel," Drax says.
"Hey, don't. Whatever this thing is, it spreads through contact," Clarke says. Derek comes in coughing. He falls down dead. "He's dead," Clarke says.
"Quarantine. Round up everyone who had contact with Murphy. Bring them here," Billy tells them. They all nod as they leave.
