Bella's Pov
I opened my eyes slowly adjusting to the beam of light shining through my bedroom window, directly onto my face. I rubbed my eyes and they felt slightly sore. Remembering the events of the previous night I looked at my surroundings and wondered how I had gotten into bed. Charlie must have carried me in after I had crashed out. I stretched out my arms and slowly crawled out of bed.
As I walked through to the living room I saw no trace of my father, walking to the kitchen he wasn't here either. I looked on the surface and saw a note...
"I've made my way back home, I'll sort Renee out don't worry. Just know everything will be okay. Just remember all the good things in your life right now baby girl, love dad x"
I smiled down at the note as I folded it up and slipped it aside, I switched on my Bluetooth speaker and connected my phone. I pressed shuffle on my play list. She's American began to play by the 1975. As the music filled the air I began to make myself a cup of coffee. Heading my fathers words I began to think about all the good parts of my life right now. I had a new book launching in a few months, I had a new group of friends which are the greatest people I have ever met. And finally I have found my soul mate, my Edward.
Going to my fridge I began to pull out a few items of food. I decided on a omelette for breakfast. Dancing around my kitchen as I began to prep and cook. My emotions becoming positive the more I thought about everyone back home.
Leaving the music to continue to shuffle and play I sat at the kitchen counter to eat my food. Feeling more like myself as time passed. I thought about what I could possibly do today to pass the time. I hadn't had a pyjama day in quite a while. Maybe a nice relaxing day of books and movies would be exactly what I needed. Tuck myself away and just relax. I think I will call the girls too, catch up with them for a bit. I'm sure they've heard what has happened, I hope Edward hasn't freaked them out too much.
Clearing away my plate I decided to go freshen up. I brushed out my hair which was a tangled mess, and washed the sleep from my face. I changed into a fresh pair of pyjamas and pulled on a pair of fluffy socks. All comfy.
I switched off my speaker and disconnected my phone. Plopping myself onto my sofa I grabbed for my faux fur throw and snuggled into my pillows. I turned on the TV and left a random channel playing in the background as I looked at my notifications.
I had four messages from back home. One from Edward, Rose, Alice and Esme. Of course I smiled, the Calvary are checking in.
Opening up Edwards message First...
Morning baby, hope you feel better this morning. Going to be a little busy, promise to message me when you're awake just so I know you're okay. I love you always, Edward X
I smiled at his sweet message and fired one straight back...
Hey, I feel better this morning. Charlie left me a note reminding me how much good I have in my life right now and remember the positives. Obviously you are number 1. Speak to you soon, I love you always too, Bella X
Moving onto Rose's message I had to stop myself from giggling at her brashness...
Bella! Honey you give me the word I will drag Emmett on a plane and we will be straight to New York, Crowbar and wheel chains in the case, gosh I wish I could get my hands on Renee right now ughh. If you need anything call me! Can't wait to see your sexy butt back here in Forks, miss you girl. Rose X
No Crow bar or wheel chains needed Rose! I'm okay honestly, Charlie took care of me and he told me he's sorting Renee out. But thank you, it means so much to know you have my back. However violent your tendencies can be, lol. I miss you so much too. Keep the wine in the cooler for me when I return. Call you later, Bella X
Next I opened Alice's message...
Bella I am so sorry, Edward just told Jasper and I what happened. I am so angry right now, how can your own mother hurt you like she did. Edward is a nervous wreck he is so worried about you. He told me not to tell you he's worried but he hadn't stopped pulling at his hair. I think Jazz finally got him to settle for a short while. Then he was up and off. I haven't heard from him today will you let me know if he's contacted you? I asked my mother but she just told me he's doing what he needs too. Cryptic much? Anyway call me soon, Jasper sends his hugs. Love you Bell, Alice X
Hey Alice, and that man will never listen to me. I told him I was going to be okay. I can understand why he was worried. If I heard him crying down the phone I would be exactly the same about him. He has messaged me this morning but he told me he was going to be busy today. I would just leave him to come round, I will let you know if I hear more. And I send my love to you and Jasper too. I will call you later. Let me know if you will be with Rose and we can have a group chat altogether. I miss you girls, Bella X
Finally I got Esme's message, (the mother I'd always needed)...
Hi Dear, firstly I hope you are okay. Edward called me straight away and told me what had happened I hope you don't mind. As you can imagine we are all very concerned for you. We just want you to be happy and knowing you are alone over there other than having your father its hard for us not to picture you being sad and alone. I know you are a strong woman Bella and you will say you're okay when you need a shoulder, but if you need me call me. I'm here for you, always. Secondly, send me your mothers number. I have a few words I need to give that woman on behalf of my son and my future daughter. Never forget home will be waiting, Love you sweet heart, Esme X
Reading Esme's message made my heart swell. How caring she is towards everyone she brings into her family makes me feel so much adoration. If I never had my mothers caring affection again I knew Esme Cullen would go above and beyond for me. And that was all I ever needed.
Hi Esme, truly I am okay. I had a little break down last night but my father helped me through. He never left me till he knew I was going to be fine. Thank you for caring for my well being. And I will send you her email later, but please don't let her words get to you. I don't know how she will react. I can not wait to be back home with you all and Edward. I really need him right now. I love you too, Bella X
After pressing send on my final message I settled into the sofa and switched on a film. I decided to make a day of it so I proceeded to put the First Harry Potter movie on. Lets see how many I can get through in twenty four hours.

Before I knew I had finished three movies and it was slowly edging towards half past four in the afternoon. Between short toilet breaks and a couple coffee breaks the time and movies had completely slipped me through the day. I picked up my phone and saw a message from Alice telling me she was on her way to Rose's house and she would call me around five.
I decided to make a call to order food, I wasn't in the mood to cook tonight I was far too relaxed. I ordered myself a large margarita pizza and asked for it to be delivered around half six, seven to my apartment. That gave me plenty of time to talk to the girls before I began stuffing my face.
Glancing at the clock again I thought about opening a bottle of wine. Was it too early? Nah, I'm sure both Rose and Ali would be opening one in Forks too. I walked to the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of white wine and unhooked a wine glass from my cabinet. Popping the Cork I poured myself a generous glass before going back into my comfy corner, taking the wine bottle with me. Placing it on a coaster on the coffee table.
As I got comfortable I pressed play on the fourth instalment of the movie franchise. I got all excited knowing Cedric Digory was going to appear, he was so hot! He reminded me a bit of Edward. As the opening sequence began my phone lit up. Snatching up my phone I saw Rose's number, grinning I answered quickly.
"Hello!" I exclaimed.
"Bella!" Rose and Alice shouted together before we all started giggling like teenagers.
"How are you both? I miss you so much. This week has been long. I wish you were both here with me" I told them.
"We are good, same old same old. We miss you so much too, come home soon we need our drinking buddy back!" Rose cried out.
"Well I do have my glass of white wine so I am still technically drinking with you if you are?"
"Of course we are! And I even bought out a third glass automatically for you" Alice said.
"I'll be back very, very soon to drink from the glass." I promised them.
"So how are the guys? Emmett hasn't tried to burn down the house again while I have been away?" I laughed.
"You know what Emmett is like, never a day goes by that he doesn't try to mortally ignore himself or one of us" Rose chuckled.
"Jasper has been calm as usual, he pops next door to check on Edward to make sure he is doing okay. From what I've heard he is doing okay. His misses you though Bell" Alice added sounded sympathetic.
"I miss him so much too, I haven't heard from him again today since this morning. Have you girls?" I asked, I knew he was busy but I had only received one message all day.
"Errrrr, nope. But I'm positive he's okay and you'll speak to him tonight. Mom told me he's doing something important" Alice rambled on, as if trying to avoid the subject slightly.
"okayyyy " I replied, slightly unsure.
"Edward is fine Bella, he is such a worry wart. Don't pay any attention to Alice. Emmett has been having him work out pretty hard he may have just fallen asleep." Rose butted in confidently, making me relax a little more.
"So anyway what are you up to?" Rose asked changing the subject.
"Well I have decided to treat myself to a do nothing but watch Harry Potter day" I laughed just as I looked up to see Cedric on my screen, ooh la la.
"I love Harry Potter, what film are you on? Four? Please say four I love Viktor" Rose moaned rather sexually down my phone.
"Rose! Really Viktor? And yes I have just started number four." I laughed drinking more wine.
"I bet you love Cedric!" Alice cackled.
"What! How did you know?! " I laughed out loud.
"Because he looks like Edward, duh!" They both shouted down the phone.
"I know!" I screeched kicking my legs out a little.
"Oooooo maybe you could dress Edward up in Huffle puff robes?" Rose crooned.
I zoned out for sixty seconds imagining Edward all dressed up ready to give me a lesson in defence against the dark arts? Or biology?
"Bella! Hello!" Alice called out giggling.
"What? I'm here?"
"Girl we have been calling your name for like a whole minute... Were you fantasising about Edward?" Rose asked coyly.
"Maybe?" I replied slightly blushing, damn wine!
"Bella's kinky!" Alice laughed.
"Alice, so are you!" Rose added as I heard a small slap.
"At least I'm not a dominatrix!" Alice retorted gasping for air from laughing which set me off.
"Rose!" I screeched out loud again, why am I surprised?
"I am so not a dominatrix!.. Well... Not professionally " she laughed.
Just as I was about to reply there was a knock at my door, I glanced at my clock and it was only a little after six? Was the food here this early?
"Give me two minutes there is someone at my door" I told them as I hopped off of the couched, phone still in hand.
I got to the door and swung it open prepared to greet my delivery driver. But instead I was greeted by the one person I did not expect to find on my doorstep.
"Edward?" I gasped as my jaw dropped open in surprise.
"Hey baby" he smiled widely dropping his bag to the floor.
In less than a second I launched myself into his opening arms, throwing my arms around his neck and my legs tightly around hi waist. My lips attacked his and we each grasped at each other. He's here, he is really here with me in my apartment. Hang on. How did he know where to find me?
"How? When?" I blurted out leaning back to rest my forehead to his. Both our faces beaming with joy.
"I spoke to your father and told him I was coming out today to be with you, he gave me your address and Esme helped me get the fastest flight out here. I needed to be with you. I have wanted to come all week but resisted but when your father called I knew I had to be here with you, for you. Oh Bella I've missed you so much. How has it been only five days, it has felt like a lifetime" he said, his words melting my heart, what did I ever do to deserve a man like him.
"Oh Edward, my love. I've missed you too. I kept thinking about how much I wanted you here but felt too selfish to ask you to come. I'm so happy right now. And my father! Oh when I get my hands on him for not telling me! " I growled playfully.
"Don't be too mad at Charlie I wanted to surprise you so I told him not to say a word." He replied stroking my hair back.
"Error Hello!?"
What was that noise? I looked down and saw my phone still clutched in my right hand. Oh gosh the girls!
"Hello?" I answered again pulling Edward into my apartment.
"Is Edward there?" Alice asked.
"Yeah he has just arrived... Hang on did you know about this?" I gasped.
I turned to Edward and saw him chuckling shaking his head, Did everyone know?
"Erm..." Alice murmured.
"Alice Whitlock!" I exclaimed.
"Sorry Bella it was a surprise! I wanted to say I promise, don't be mad ... Oh look at that there is another call trying to get through, got to go Bells. Say hi to Edward Love you byeeee"
And with that Alice hung up on me.
"She hung up on me!"
"Yeah she does that a lot. But now she and Rose are gone, how about we do this?"
Edward grasped me around the waist and lifted, me back into his arms. Attacking my lips once more I let out a little giggle and allowed him to walk us into the living room. He sat on the sofa and held me in his lap.
"God I've missed this" he whispered as he began to press kisses on my neck as I ran my fingers through his tussled hair.
"Me too" I moaned as he ran his hands down my spine, before resting them on my hips slowly rubbing his thumbs in circular motions.
We continued to make out like teenagers for another ten minutes before there was a knock on the door.
"Are you expecting someone?" Edward asked.
"Oh yes! I ordered food earlier, are you hungry?" I asked slowly getting off of him.
"I'm famished" he answered kissing my gently before I headed off to the door.
After paying for dinner I bought it back into the living room.
"Is it okay for me to freshen up?" Edward asked.
"Oh of course bathroom is first door in your right. If you want to change my room is directly opposite."
As he walked away I went to the kitchen and grabbed us some plates and a few napkins, I rushed back to the living room and placed them on the table. I grabbed Edward some water and pulled out an extra wine glass for him too. I placed everything on the table and a huge grin spread out on my face. He was here!
"Hey beautiful, what have we got?" Edward's velvety voice appeared behind me.
"We have pizza and now I am glad I ordered a large otherwise we would have been fighting for food" I chuckled.
"Excellent, and I don't mind sharing with you" he winked in reply.
"I also grabbed you some water and a glass if you'd like some wine?"
"That would be great thank you."
I poured him a glass before settling into the sofa, he wrapped an arm around me and I snuggled into his embrace. We ate together and fed each other small pieces. We laughed as I accidently smeared sauce on his face and he playfully smeared it back on me as he pulled me in for a kiss.
After we ate we lay together and watched two more films. I was back where I belonged, in his arms. Warm, secure and safe. I was back home.
