New York, Murakami's apartment
After meeting with Kara at Bibbo's Diner at Metropolis, Ben and Kara quite close after Ben shared his stories at space with the Unisquad to her. Now they've been texting quite often. At the apartment, Ben wanted to help Mr. Murakami to earn more profits other than make ramens. He was making money in the stock market.
After helping out Mr. Murakami at his restaurant, Ben needed extra money. He turned into Grey Matter; using his vast intelligence, he figured out what to invest in. It wasn't insider trading or anything illegal, he was just being smart with his money.
At New York, mostly the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are always have their patrols duties for keeping eye out of the Foot Clans (they arrived from Japan to America, because of their revenge towards Master Splinter), mutants, and other bad guys. Sometimes the turtles stop by to Murakami's restaurant for their favorite pizza gyoza.
North-South Korean Border
Couple of days later, Ben recieved a message from Justice League; Ben is send to North-South Korean Border with Supergirl, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Captain Atom, and Green Arrow for a mission against a several-hundred-feet-tall radiation robot.
Green Arrow: Oww boy...
Then Captain Atom and Supergirl are flying towards the giant radiation robot
Captain Atom: I'll try to absorbed it!
Jetray: I'll work on getting these people out of here!
Ben, as Jetray flew into the edge of the cliff then transforms into Bloxx, then he create a support struts and handrails along the way, to make a perfect bridge to evacuate the civilians.
Meanwhile, Captain Atom are trying to absorb the radiation robot but the radiation is too much, causes a small explosion erupted from his hands, then he fell to the ground.
Then Supergirl punches the robot but surprisingly withstand her attacks and smack her to the hill.
The robot marches towards the civilians who are cross the bridge made from Bloxx. When the robot aims the radiation canon then fires it towards Bloxx and the civilians. But Green Lantern (John Stewart) create a shield to block the energy beam. But the shield began to crack, then shattered, leaving him injured badly.
Just as the last civilian made it through the birdge, the robot fires the radiation beam again and struck Bloxx. The bridge shattered, as is falling in pieces of Bloxx as he fell into the the cliff.
Supergirl: BEN!
After pieces of Bloxx fell to the cliff, Bloxx began to regenerate himself then transforms back to Ben, then he woke up in a terrible headache.
Ben: I've got to stop falling off from high places (while regain conciousness)
Then Ben transforms into Astrodactyl to fly up and searching his teammates.
Supergirl, Green Arrow, and Captain Atom are aiding John Stewart, after his injury caused by the giant radiation robot. But they felt terrible after they're missing their member, Ben.
Then Ben reaches jet where Supergirl, Green Arrow, and Captain Atom see him.
Supergirl: BEN!
Supergirl hugs Ben, it was an uncontrollable hug of enthusiasm; it was as if she held him just to make sure he was real, that he wasn't a ghost. He gently returned the embrace
Ben: Don't worry, I'm okay.
Supergirl let go , then wiped a few stray tears away
Supergirl: Don't ever scare me like that again!
Ben: I'll try my best to avoid getting blasted by giant-radiation robots and getting thrown off cliffs
Supergirl punched him slowly in his arm
Ben: Ow! What was that for?
Captain Atom: Ehemmmm. Hate to break up the reunion, but we still need to deal with a giant radiation robot
Ben: Right! We know that fighting head on isn't gonna do squat; so we're gonna need to find who built it. If they can create something that powerful, they gotta have something to shut it down right?
Green Arrow: I saw some guys in hazmat suits from the other border from the North. They should know something.
Ben: What happens to "not causing any international incident"
John Stewart: Guys! (start to regain conscious from his injury)
Green Lantern (John Stewart) is lying on an infirmary bed with bandages covered around him
John Stewart: Things are getting worse if we don't stop the robot. North and South Korea will start war if we don't stop the robot.
Then, the team (except John Stewart) arrived somewhere in a forest where a guy in a hazmat suits and soldiers are checking around the area. Ben transformed into Chromastone to kept his secret identity.
Captain Atom: What are we up against?
But the people didn't answered
Supergirl: He asked you a question!
Then a soilder barked
Soldier: That's a classified informa-aahh
He was interrupted when Supergirl lift him up front of his body armor.
Supergirl: I had enough of this! I'm gonna count to five. One, FOUR... (while her eyes glowing red, about to use her heat vision)
Green Arrow: I would start talking if I were you
Then the man in the hazmat suit start to talk
Hazmat-wearing man: It was supposed to be our protector. It was supposed to protect us from the foreigners.
Green Arrow: But then you've lost control right?
Hazmat-wearing man: We have carbon rod dampeners. But we couldn't get close enough to put them in.
Captain Atom: Where's its reactor?
Hazmat-wearing man: The front of the upper torso. But its too hot; you won't make it.
Captain Atom: We'll worry about that...
Then the team left.
The team flew towards the robot direction before they're crossing the South Korean border. Then Chromastone turned back to Ben.
Green Arrow: Anyone got a plan?
Ben: Okay, first I'm getting behind. Once I do, I'll hold it still as long as I can. While I'm doing that, Captain Atom flies up the reactor and shoves the carbon rod inside. Supergirl will backing up Captain Atom.
Supergirl: Got it! (saying it with a smile)
Then Ben turns to Green Arrow
Ben: And if something goes wrong, you'll take the shot
Green Arrow got couple of carbon rods, as well as Captain Atom and Supergirl; they're flying towards the giant radiation robot. Then Ben transformed into XLR8 to get close to the robot
XLR8 run towards the robot. Once he get close, he transforms into Way Big. Way Big quickly lunges forward, wrapping his enormous arms around the robot's canon from behind while ignoring the intense heat coming from the robot
Way Big: Cap! Do it now!
Captain Atom flew towards the robot's reactor, but the heat was so intense makes Captain Atom's body began to ignite. He fought through the pain, until he was right in front of the reactor. He raised the carbon rod, but the robot shot short blast which sent Captain Atom to the ground, then the robot jerked its head back, slamming Way Big in the throat.
The giant alien fell backwards, the robot pointed canon at him, but Supergirl fly towards the robot then charged towards the robot, but robot slammed her into the hill. Meanwhile Green Arrow quickly used the his carbon-rod-tipped arrow, which was prepared earlier. While the robot was distracted to point the arm canon towards Way Big, Green Arrow aims his arrow.
Green Arrow: Say "ah" shitbag.
Green Arrow took the shot. The arrow flew straight and true, directly into the reactor. The robot is powered down.
Supergirl flew up and delivered a powerful uppercut, while Way Big drove his fist towards the robots chest with all his strength. The robot is decapitated just as its heart was ripped out. Way Big transforms back to Ben, then Supergirl carries Ben away from the robot.
Watchtower
The team heading back to the Watchtower, where John Stewart and Captain Atom receiving a medical attention. But Captain Atom on the other hand, his receiving a special treatment. Several men in radiation suits and a large machine that was pumping blue energy into a suit; a very familiar suit
After Ben and Supergirl watches Captain Atom having a special treatment at the Watchtower, Supergirl turn her attention to Ben.
Supergirl: That was nice to have a mission together
Ben: Yeah..
Supergirl: But try not get yourself killed again okay? (while showing her worrying face)
Ben: I'll try..
Unexpectedly, Supergirl gave an unexpected quick kiss to the cheek, leaving Ben with a blush; knowing that both of their relationship are getting closer...
