Total Drama Valley Season 2, Episode 19: Wedding for Disaster.

It was down to the Final Four of the season. Myra, Petrie, Spike, and Ruby were all getting snacks to enjoy before they went back to their trailers to sleep. Spike could only grin smugly at the others as he ate a ton of tree stars.

CC

Spike: There's nothing more they can do about me now. There's only four of us left, there won't be any more votes.

Petrie: Me and the girls have to beat Spike! He needs to learn his lesson.

Myra: I made it so much further this season then I did last time! I'm gonna make sure I make it all the way to the end!

Ruby: I have to stop Spike, stopping Spike is what I have to do!

As everyone ate their treats back in their trailers, Myra had noticed something. "Chris is making a lot more calls than he normally does," the fast biter told the fast runner.

"It is almost the finale," Ruby suggested, "He's probably just setting things up for some crazy final challenge."

"I hope you're right," Myra nodded.

….

Over in the boys trailer, only Petrie and Spike remained. Petrie was nonchalantly playing on the Wii while Spike ate.

"I'm impressed you got this far," Spike chuckled.

"Me not listening Spike, me know what you up to," Petrie replied flatly.

The spiketail didn't seem concerned by that remark at all. "I'm just doing whatever it takes to win, you know," he smirked, "I'm looking out for Number One."

Petrie rolled his eyes. "You shouldn't get too obsessed with this game, Spike," Petrie pointed out, "Remember what happened with Cera?"

"She just didn't play smart enough," Spike smirked between bites of green food. "I won't make that same mistake."

Opting to focus on the video game, the flyer stopped replying to Spike's remarks. He planned to talk with Ruby and Myra tomorrow about teaming up to stop Spike from winning.

….

The next morning, the Final Four were sleeping peacefully where Chris walked up between the trailers with double air horns. "I love these things," the host chuckled sadistically. With a quick gesture, the air horns were letting out a loud sound, waking everyone up drastically.

CC

Myra: This is why I don't sleep on the top bunk. So I don't fall off when Chris does this!

"Morning dudettes and dudes," Chris said to the remaining dinos, "I have a very special challenge planned for you today!"

"Does it involve going back to sleep?" yawned Petrie.

"Or eating?" asked Spike.

"Perhaps hunting?" Myra suggested.

Chris nodded "no" at all of those suggestions. "However, the challenge I have planned does relate to one of you, specifically," he explained.

Everyone looked surprised. "Who is it?" Ruby asked the human host.

Chris pointed to Myra. "It's you, my fast biter friend!"

Myra's jaw dropped in surprised. "How can a challenge be for me specifically?" she asked.

The host of TDV began pacing around the remaining players. "To be more precise, it's for your mom's wedding," he elaborated.

The group let out a chorus of "Awwws". "Your mom's getting married, Myra? That's so nice," Petrie said.

Suddenly, they heard the sound of the time machine activating. They turned to see some interns had powered it on.

"Just like last season's Final Four, you'll be divided into two teams-boys vs girls," Chris said. "The winning team will get invincibility while the losing team will have someone cut from the competition tonight."

Spike raised a foot. "So what's the challenge?" the player in Chris's alliance asked.

Chris stood on a platform as he explained the rules. "One traditional part of wedding ceremonies in dino culture is giving your partner shiny stones. Your challenge is to race to the gem store outside of my mansion, collect one shiny stone, then run back here. Next you'll jump into the time machine to warp back to your time and you must deliver the shiny stone to Myra's mother and her new husband. First time to deliver their stone wins!"

Ruby and Myra shook hands. "Let's take Spike down, down is where we'll take Spike," Ruby smiled.

"We can be very fast, we got this game," Myra nodded.

CC

Spike: But do they know the shortcuts around town? No, no they do not.

The Final Four were shown pictures of where to go to get the shiny stones. "Have a good race," the sadistic human encouraged as Chef waved a flag to signal the start of the challenge.

….

The boys and girls took separate paths into the city as they ran away from Chris's mansion. "Don't think you can slow me down, Petrie," Spike called.

It was a risky move, but Petrie had a plan. "If me cost us the challenge, Ruby and Myra will get invincibility. They'll vote you off for sure," he told Spike gloatingly.

Unfortunately, Spike had a counter for that. "Whoever is eliminated at this point, it won't be through voting," the spiketail pointed out, "And if it's between you and me, Chris will keep me in the game."

Petrie's face fell flat. "Darn," he muttered, not wanting to admit Spike had a point.

Spike knew he could be the one to get them to victory in this challenge. "Just follow my path, Petrie," he said. Petrie, alas, realized he had to think up a different plan.

The girls were taking a more direct path to the gem store, going along city sidewalks. Ironically, even though they were going on foot, they were being much faster than any of the vehicles on the nearby streets because of a traffic jam.

"You're gonna like meeting my mom, she's very nice," Myra told Ruby as they ran along the path.

Having hung around adult sharpteeth before, Ruby didn't feel scared by the prospect. "Just make sure our friends aren't on the menu," she joked.

"Of course….not," Myra chuckled as the two continued along down the path.

CC

Ruby: Chomper's parents are nice, I'm sure Myra's mom is too.

…..

The path Spike and Petrie were taking was not quite…as sanitary. The boys were rushing through some back alleys. Petrie did some fancy flying around balconies and fire escapes.

"The dinosaurs of the future need different caves," the flyer said as Spike ran ahead. The route Chris had told him about the night before may not have been the cleanest, but it would prove to be a faster path to the gem shop.

CC

Spike: Chris hasn't let me down yet!

Both of the two remaining boys in the competition weren't exactly on the best terms right now, but they were both aware who would be going home if they lost, so Petrie had to keep playing in this game.

"Don't worry, we're almost there," Spike assured his temporary teammate. He climbed over a dumpster and he could then see the sign for the gem shop a short distance away. "What did I tell you?"

CC

Petrie: Me feel real bad about going along with this…

Petrie rolled his eyes. "You know you are forcing me into this, Spike," he sighed. He really hated the predicament he had found himself in now, especially with his own matter with Chef.

As the boys were nearing the shop, Ruby and Myra were coming close as well.

"There's the guys!" Myra pointed, "How did they get ahead of us?"

"Probably some of Spike's trickery," Ruby sighed.

…..

At the gem shop, another former TDI contestant was brought in to participate in the challenge. In this case, it was Courtney, who had turned into a threehorn after Chris's actions changed the course of history.

"This is just for the sake of building my resume," the CIT said to the cameras.

Spike came running into the shop first, Petrie riding on his head. "One fancy shiny stone," Spike panted.

"Here you go," Courtney replied, handing him the gem.

Just a few seconds later, Myra and Ruby came rushing into the shop. "The same thing they got!" the fast biter exclaimed.

Courtney handed the girls another gem. "Is this really the extent of my appearance on this season?" she groaned, "Chris is so gonna hear from my lawyers!"

The shiny stone looked very appealing to Myra. "My mom always thought these things were beautiful," she told Ruby, "I can't wait to give her one myself."

"Then let's get going before the boys beat us back," Ruby advised, and all of the Final Four had exited the shop.

Unfortunately for Spike, the shortcut to the store he and Petrie had taken on the way there had been blocked off by a garbage truck obstructing the alleys.

"Curses," Spike frowned, "We have to take the way they went."

Not too far behind them, the girls heard Spike express dismay. "Think of it this way, it'll be good for you Spike, you could use the exercise," Myra taunted.

CC

Spike: Hey, I'm proud of how much I eat.

"We have to get back to our time first, our time is where we have to get back to," Ruby told Myra, "We're more familiar with our time."

The two teams made their ways along the sidewalks, racing back towards Chris's mansion.

"Me sorry about this," Petrie called to Myra and Ruby, "Chris will probably eliminate me if we lose…"

The girls could understand the flyer's plight, even if they had no intentions of willingly throwing the challenge. Though they had gotten their gem later, they were slowly catching up to the boys.

"May the best team win," Ruby called.

"That'll be us!" Myra added gleefully.

The Final Four had made their way back to Chris's mansion where the time machine awaited to take them to the next part of the challenge.

"Me hope me don't get sick…" Petrie commented as he held onto Spike. In an instant, the two disappeared.

Only a few seconds later the fast runner and fast biter dove into the machine, warping to the past as well.

CC

Ruby: Going through time is such a weird feeling. It's like jumping off an edge, but just before you land on the ground, you get tossed back up.

Myra: This is what everyone who was eliminated had to experience, huh?

Petrie: Me gonna be sick….

With two quick flashes, Spike, Petrie, Myra, and Ruby were back in 65 Million BC. They could tell from the wall beside them that they were just outside the Great Valley.

"Where do we go next?" Spike said to the flyer. Petrie flew up to get a better view of their surroundings.

"Me see a bunch of sharpteeth over there," he pointed his wing nervously.

That was enough information for Myra to put two and two together. "That has to be my mom, she said she wanted to invite many of her friends when she found a mate."

The final stretch of the race was on.

Among the crowd of sharpteeth gathered at the wedding were Chomper, his parents, Rita, and Rory. Their sniffers acted up when they caught a familiar scent.

"They're here!" Chomper called excitedly.

"Can you see who's winning?" asked Rita.

"I hope it's Myra," Rory smiled, all 3 of them speaking in their native sharptooth language.

…..

As the last few dinosaurs competing in the season approached the finish line to the race, Spike had a plan. A devious, yet simple one.

"You were right Myra, I do eat a lot," Spike called as he ran beside her, "But that means I know how to throw my weight around!"

Myra had no time to react before Spike made a sideways rolling jump towards her, knocking her down and causing the girls' shiny stone to drop out of her claws.

"Oh no!" Myra exclaimed.

"I'll get it!" Ruby called as it began to roll down a hill.

CC

Myra: That dirty cheater…

Seeing what Spike just did make Petrie regret going along with him for this challenge. He knew if they lost Chris would eliminate him for sure, but now he felt complicit in Spike's cheating.

By the time Ruby was able to get back the shiny stone, Spike was almost at the wedding grounds.

"No no no…" Myra frowned as they ran between the rows of gathered sharpteeth.

Myra's mother was at the front of the crowd and standing beside her was…Thud!

"Wait….wha?" Petrie gasped, surprised to see Redclaw's ally was the one who was getting married that day. Chris stood between the two fast biters.

The host of TDV waved a flag as Spike deposited his team's gem before the soon to be married couple. "Spike and Petrie win invincibility!" Chris declared. Myra and Ruby slowed from a run to a walk as they realized they had been beaten.

Ruby shot Spike a dark look. "Whether it be Myra or me, we'll make you pay, Spike," she said with almost a growl.

Thud waved his claw. "Hello Myra," he smiled to his new stepdaughter.

A realization had hit the younger fast biter's mind. "Is that why we saw you in the future several episodes ago?" she asked Thud, "Were you getting my mom a present?"

Thud nodded in confirmation. "Yup, Sara here is so perfect….she deserves only the best."

"And with me being the TDV Aftermath host, I could help him get what he wanted," Redclaw called from the audience, as he ordered Longtail to pass out the meaty snacks to the guests.

Sara looked at her daughter. "You've done excellent this season," she commended, "I'm glad you could be here for this!"

Petrie flew over to Chris. "Do me have to stay here?" he asked, worried one of the guests might try to eat him.

"Cmon, enjoy the party man," Chris replied.

While Ruby and Myra knew one of them would be getting booted out that night, they knew just to enjoy themselves at the celebration now.

"Let's party!" Ruby exclaimed, as all the sharpteeth began to dance. As everyone was having a good time, Chris's cell phone rang.

"Hello?" he asked the person on the other end of the line.

"McLean, we need to talk….."

….

THE ELIMINATION CEREMONY….

The Final Four, soon to be the Final Three, were back in 2009. They sat at the elimination area while Chris came out with a tray of 3 Chris-shaped sweet bubbles.

"Spike and Petrie are advancing to the semi-finals," Chris declared, tossing them the first two of the tasty treats. He then turned towards the 2 still on the chopping block. "Ruby, Myra, one of you will be going home tonight."

The friends turned towards each other and nodded. Whatever result was about to happen, they were both prepared to accept it.

"The final Chris sweet bubble goes to…..Ruby," Chris concluded.

For a split second, Myra felt bad about her elimination, but she quickly was happy for her friend. "I guess I've come as far as I'll go," she shrugged, "Ruby, Petrie, promise to take Spike down for me?"

"You got it," they nodded in unison.

"Anything else you want to say before we warp you home?" Chris asked Myra.

Myra turned to the others and smiled. "I have a new dad now," she said happily, "Even if I lost this season, I still got a nice prize, don't you think?"

The fast runner and flyer waved goodbye. "Take care!" Petrie called.

"We'll see you at the finale!" Ruby said to her friend.

With a final nod, Myra stepped into the time machine for the second time that day and was warped back to the past.

Chris looked at the Final Three dinos still in the danger. "You've all come a long way," he said in faux-admiration, "But you best prepare yourselves. The next challenges I have planned for you will be some of the most grueling you'll ever have to endure!

CC

Petrie: Me afraid of that.

Spike: This is my game! 13 down, 2 to go! Ha ha!

Ruby: I'm glad Myra had a good time today even if she ended up going home. But I won't let her down, Spike is going to pay for what he's done this season!

As the Final Three headed back to their trailers, Chris turned to the camera. "Who will make it to the finale? What game do I have prepared for them next time? And what was that call I got earlier about? You can ignore that last one, but you'll need to tune in to the next exciting episode of Total….Drama…Valley!"

NEXT TIME: The Final Three compete in a trivia challenge about their fellow contestants with a rock climbing twist, and Ruby becomes determined more than ever to take down Spike!

(There you go, read and review! I'm sorry it's been many years since I updated this. Life got very busy for me and I got a case of writer's block, but now I'm hoping to conclude the story I began over 10 years ago. I hope for anyone still reading this that I'll be able to write an enjoyable final few chapters for you!)
