Gotenks ran at Buu at full speed, fist outstretched. Buu dodged it with a second to spare. Suddenly, Gotenks lashed out with his left leg, and struck Buu right in the gut. He then elbowed the back of his neck, and sent Buu to the ground. Buu got up, and stumbled a bit. "YAAAA! Feel my power!" Gotenks yelled out. He punched Majin Buu super hard in the jaw, then followed up with a rapid burst of smaller punches. Buu seemed to not be affected by Gotenks' attacks at all. "Why aren't you flinching?! I'm hitting you with almost all I got!" Gotenks said. Suddenly, Buu caught one of Gotenks' fists. Then, he caught the other one. "I got your fists! Now you can take some of my energy." He held one of his hands to Gotenks' face, and charged up a small Ki blast. It shone brightly. "Wait what? NO!" Gotenks said. He had just processed what was going on. Buu smiled and waved. Then, an explosion. The ki blast detonated in Gotenks' face, making him disappear in a huge cloud of smoke and dust. When the explosion cleared up, Gotenks was lying on the ground in a heap. "Uhhhh… What happened? Did I get him? Did I kill Buu?" he asked. Vegeta covered his face with his hand, and shook his head. Gotenks sat up, and looked around. Buu was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Gotenks took a massive blow to his back. More hits followed suit. Gotenks' Metamoran jacket was battered. Gotenks leaped out of the way of another incoming onslaught. "Ah! What was that?! Show yourself, Buu!" Gotenks said. Majin Buu suddenly teleported in front of Gotenks' face.
He's right where I want him! Now I'm gonna get him good!" Gotenks thought. "Enough play! Now I'm mad! HYAAAAA!" Gotenks lashed out with his right foot, and kicked Buu in his cheek. He crashed to the ground, and Gotenks took his golden opportunity. A flash of yellow light and a small burst of lightning, and Gotenks had gone Super Saiyan 3 again. "This time, I won't mess up! Let's just hope this fusion lasts just a bit longer." SSJ3 Gotenks rushed at Majin Buu, who had just recovered from the last attack. A yellow aura surrounded his left hand. It coalesced into a sharp blade that protruded from his fingers. "Splitting Headache Attack! HA!" Gotenks' hand sliced down on Buu's head like a sword. His hand cleanly cut straight through the Majin's gelatinous body like a hot knife through butter. His two halves slid apart and fell to the ground. "Oh yeah! That teaches you to mess with Gotenks! Hahaha!" Gotenks crossed his arms and smiled. Suddenly though, Buu's squishy body parts began to attract towards each other. It formed back into a normal body. "You thought that simple attack could put down the mighty Majin Buu? Stupid boy! There can never be a power higher than mine! I will NOT allow it!" Super Buu ran towards Gotenks, fist outstretched, ready to attack. Suddenly, he stopped. "Wha-what is this power? It's insane!" Buu looked to the sky, and all around. "What are you talking about? There's nobody here!" Gotenks looked behind him. Vegeta shrugged. MEANWHILE… Sonic zoomed across the wide open spaces of Planet Namek.
The village appeared on the horizon. Tails was busy conversing with Goku and Nail. Suddenly, a sonic boom. "Hey, Sonic must be close." Tails looked to his right, then his left. "Oh, there he is! Hey, Sonic! Over here!" Tails waved his hand in the air, and Sonic screeched to a halt. "Did you find a good spot?" Sonic nodded. "Alright, let's go! C'mon Mr. Nail! Follow Sonic!" Tails said. They headed in the general direction of the clear spot. There were plenty of Ajisa trees around. Sonic placed the Dragon Balls on the ground. "Great Porunga, I summon you to grant my wish!" said Nail. The sky went dark instantly, and the Dragon Balls shone brightly. Sparks crackled, and then great dragon Porunga shot out of the seven Dragon Balls. He was humongous, and dominated the sky for miles around. "I am the great dragon Porunga of Planet Namek. You have three wishes; speak them now, and they shall be granted." Nail nudged Tails' shoulder. "Really? You want me to make the wish?" Tails' eyes sparkled. "Oh, great Porunga! There was once a vast diversity of life on a planet called Mobius! But it was all destroyed by a monster named Majin Buu. I humbly request that you restore Planet Mobius and its lifeforms to how it was before Buu!"
Tails said. Porunga's eyes shone red, and a low pitched sound emanated from the Dragon Balls. "It has been accomplished. Now state your next wish." Tails thought for a moment. Then he had an idea. "My next wish is a little complicated. On my planet, there is a robot called Mecha Sonic who was put out of commision for good a while ago. I was wondering if you could wake him up for me, and while you're at it, erase his Eggman programming, and enter in mine." Porunga's eyes shone again. "This wish will be difficult, but it is possible." Once again, the low pitched sound. "It is done. State your final wish." Tails thought for a moment. Then he had a good idea. "If you can, could you save our last wish for next time?" Tails asked. "Are you sure about this? The next time you can access this wish is in a Namekian year, which is four months." Tails put a thumb up. "Yeah, I'm sure. We won't need this wish anytime soon. Thank you Porunga!" The Dragon Balls shone once more, and Porunga began to fly into the air. "Farewell, little fox cub. Good luck with your battle." The Dragon Balls shot up hundreds of feet into the sky. They hovered there for a moment, then dispersed, each in their own direction, unusable for the next four months. "Wow, you sure are a hero, Tails. You saved millions of lives on Mobius. Now let's get back home, and defeat Buu!" Sonic said. So the group went back over to the Namekian village, and said goodbye to Nail. "See ya later, Nail. Tell the Grand Elder we said goodbye." Sonic said. They shook hands, and Sonic and Tails stepped into the teleporters. Suddenly, a yelling voice. "WAIT GUYS! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!" Goku said. "AH! Sonic, look! We forgot all about Goku! Open the door!"
Unfortunately, it was too late. The teleporter machines disappeared from Namek, hurtling towards Earth. "Aw, man. They left me. Oh well, I'll get back before they do!" Goku put his pointer and middle finger on his forehead, and Instant Transmissioned to the Earth. On the way though, he had to travel through space. The stars flashed by, planets zoomed in and out of sight. Suddenly, a blue light enveloped him. It was the Earth's atmosphere. "Ok, I'm home. Now where's Sonic and Tails?" Goku looked around, and saw the teleporters descending slowly to the ground, about to touch down in the front yard of Capsule Corp. Goku set foot on the ground, and ran inside. "Bulma! Hey, Bulma! It's me, Goku!" Bulma turned around, with a sad look on her face. Sonic and Tails stood next to her with faces full of sorrow. "What happened guys? Let's go back to Mobius." Bulma sniffled. "Vegeta just called. Gotenks was defeated. There's no hope left. Vegeta's just not the fighter he once was." Goku was shocked. "No, what? Gotenks lost?! Now we really need to get over there!" He grabbed Sonic and Tails' arms, and Instant Transmissioned them back to Mobius.
