Look at me, on schedule...I'm on a roll!

Disclaimer: I am running put of ideas. I don't own...anything *sobs*

P.S This chapter is kind of all over the place...just a little.

Annabeth

School was pretty tough.

My Mom told the principle that Percy and I couldn't see each other, and since she was a rich Architect, we now had al different classes and my locker was moved to the opposite end of school.

Technically, me and Percy were still together. We haven't had to break up with each other per say, but I sensed it was coming.

"Man, I thought your Mom would be over it by now!" Piper exclaims. Piper, Thals, Hazel, and I were walking out of the school. Mom may have separated me from Percy but she let me hang out with my other friends.

"I don't know, she has always been as stubborn as a mule," Thalia says. Hazel looks at her like she killed somebody.

"That is not nice! How can you talk about Annabeth's Mom like that, in front of her!"

I laugh. "Hazel, it's alright."

Piper opens the door and we walk through. "Well guys, I have to go. I'm meeting Jason in the parking lot."

"Okay, Bye!"

Piper walks off.

Hazel stops walking and turns to us. "I have to go too. Bye guys!"

"Bye."

So, all that was left was me and Thalia. How it always ends.

After walking down the sidewalk for a few minutes, Thalia suddenly scoffs.

"What?" I ask turning to her.

Thalia shrugs. "I don't get it," she says. "Everything is going good for you, you got rid of Luke, like a good guy who likes you, and you have me!"

I roll my eyes but let her continue talking.

"Then, your Mom -who ditched you guys- randomly sows up! Which is cool and all for you I guess but- then she...bans you from Percy! He's my cousin, I know he's good for you."

I sigh. " Thalia, I cant wallow around in self pity. Percy is better off without me, and even though it hurts to say it, it's true."

Thalia scoffs again. "Annabeth, you can seriously be so dumb sometimes," she says.

"Gee, thanks," I say sarcastically.

Thalia rolls her eyes. "I got to go, see you later Annie."

"Don't call me that!" I call out to her departing back.

I keep walking home, until a certain male voice interrupts my peace.

"Luke?!" I ask, sort of annoyed, sort of surprised, sort of mad that I am seeing his face.

"Um...hi." He says...shyly? Since when was he shy?

I grip onto my backpack straps so tight, my knuckles turn white.

"What do you want Luke," I sigh crossing the street, to get away from my ex boyfriend. He follows me.

"Look Annabeth, I don't want to start any drama, I just want to apologi-" I interrupt him. We are both standing in the middle of the street now.

"Luke, you have had months to apologize! Why do it now, when I cant see Percy...and...where have you been the last few months?"

I haven't seen him since...before we broke up I think.

"I moved school's," he says simply. "And, I'm not just apologizing to you now because of that!"

"Why did you move schools?" I ask.

"Reasons."

"Huh."

"Yep."

"Well, I got to go-"

"Annabeth, I know I have been rude to you the past couple of years. I stepped aside and watched you get bullied, heck I even helped in some of it-"

"What!"

I didn't know that.

"Crap," he mutters. "Look, I know I've been terrible, and I want to say I'm sorry. When we were little I told you I wouldn't hurt you but...it seems like I have created a lot of pain," he says pointing at me.

I shake me head. "No Luke, when we broke up, you didn't cause me any pain," I say. "I am better now because of it! You were...not good for me. You only affected me when I actually had a crush on you...but I can now see that, that ended a long time ago."

Luke frowns a little but nods.

"I'll always love you Luke." His face brightens. "...As a brother."

Luke doesn't frown this time, he actually smiles. "Thanks Annabeth."

I smile and pat the blondes shoulder. "Yeah. But, don't try anything!"

Luke smiles. "I won't...I promise."

We smile at each other, until Luke's face turns. He looks toward the street, his face stricken with horror.

"Annabeth-!"

All that comes next is bright light crushing force (and pain).

Well, that happend. Not proud of that ending though... Also sorry for how short it is.

I wasn't planning on Luke coming back, but I think it will work great with my plan...bwahhahahah.
