"Hello? Anyone awake?" Ryu called as he knocked on the door of the Headquarters spare room.

"Come in!" Toka called back. Ryu opened the door and walked in. Toka was gently rubbing her stomach.

"Food is ready. We decided to heat up some of the chicken from yesterday. Is the baby fine?"

"Yes. You seem to be quite worried despite what happened yesterday." Toka noted.

"Well yeah, we're classmates, right?"

"We are?" Toka looked at him in confusion.

"Wha- what do you mean, 'we are'?!" Ryu protested. "Wait, I am in the Hunter Classroom in your world, right?"

"No. Well, I admit that your voice is familiar, but I can't quite put a finger on it." Toka said.

"Actually Toka, he is in our group." John said as he walked in.

"Wait, really? Who is he?"

"It's Chiba."

"Wait, what?!" Toka turned to stare at Ryu, who deadpanned at her.

"Yeah, it's me. Chiba."

"But you don't look like a hentai protag!" Toka exclaimed. A second later found Ryu pressing his head against the wall, depressed. John was struggling to not laugh.

"You really can't blame her that much. You do look quite a bit different without your bangs." he commented. Ryu threw him a glare as he stalked out. He grumbled as he walked down the stairs. Rinka, Isogai, Itona, Yada, and Okuda were all in the meeting room with boxes of warmed up chicken.

"You okay Ryu?" Rinka asked her boyfriend as he sat next to her.

"I'm fine." Ryu grumbled.

"You sure?"

"We might've called him a hentai protag. Sorry about that." John said as he and Toka walked down the stairs. They also sat down near them.

"Oh John, Nagisa said he wanted to spar with you and to come to his house." Isogai said.

"Oh, okay. I already fought the Nagisa in my world, can't wait to see what he's like in this world." John said.

"Say, here's an idea. How about we talk about the differences between the two groups?" Isogai said.

"Okay. Who's the leader of this group? We can start with that."

"Well, Karma and I are the ones who mostly do the planning, but Nagisa is the official leader of the group, since he's the one who brought us together." Isogai said.

"Huh, so there's only one leader for this group. Our group had five leaders. You, Karma, Kataoka, Nagisa, and me."

"Wait, you?" Yada said confusedly. "Don't get me wrong, I know for a fact that you're pretty tough, what with you having tentacles and all, but from what I can tell, we didn't know you for very long. Er, sorry if that sounded a little rude."

"Not a problem." John waved his hand. "Like you said, I'm not as familiar with the rest of the class as you guys. Except for Toka, she's my wife." he said as he hugged her to his side.

"I actually nominated John to be a leader since he was a leader for many different teams." Toka explained.

"Speaking of teams, who's on your team?"

"The entire Assassination Classroom, plus a few more, like some good friends of mine and a few assassins you guys worked with." John said.

"Damn, you guys are way ahead of us. We got some awesome members, but we don't have all that much." Isogai held up a hand and began listing the members in their group. "Everyone here, Nagisa, Kayano, Karma, Sugino, and Ritsu. That's it."

"Ah come on, with the help of the government, you guys are plenty aided." John said.

"The government? They don't like us. The only reason why they don't up and arrest us for vigilantism is because we don't break any major laws." Isogai said. The rest of the group nodded.

"Seriously? No offense, but between that, John's tentacles, and the greater numbers, I'd say our group is way stronger than your group. No offense." Toka said.

"Let's compare certain members then." Itona spoke up. "How many fighting styles does your Nagisa know. In terms of close quarter combat."

"Let's see. Just two I guess. The one from Mr Karasuma and Kenjutsu." Toka said. Ryu allowed a small smile.

"Well then, our Nagisa seems to be a little better, considering he knows Kendo, Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu, Shinkendo, Judo, and Ninjutsu in addition to what we learned from Karasuma." he said. Toka and John looked at him in surprise.

"Actually his grandfather had begun training him in Niten Ichi-ryu. The art of twin katana." Rinka commented.

"Huh. Those are a few more fighting styles then our Nagisa. Gonna be interesting to fight him." John grinned.

"What about the sniper duo? What's the difference between them?" Isogai asked.

"The two are mostly the same as the classroom, but dating." Toka said. Ryu smiled as he saw this as another victory.

"I've been training with Nagisa in terms of hand-to-hand combat." he said. "If the other me is the same as the AssClass, this means I have the advantage over him."

"And our Hayami has the edge for the same reason, except replace martial arts with kendo." Yada said.

"Wait, really? Well that's a surprise." Toka commented.

"Why does everyone say that?" Rinka asked, exasperated.

"Enough talking, time to eat." John said as he reached over and grabbed a chicken leg. The room became silent as they all ate the chicken. They looked up when Kayano entered the room.

"Hey everyone." she said tiredly.

"Are you okay Kayano?" Okuda asked her friend worryingly.

"Yeah, just tired. My boss is kinda aggravating." the greenette said as she sat down next to the chemist. She looked at the two guests.

"I have a question for you two."

"Shoot."

"Is Korosensei dead in your world?" she asked bluntly. The rest of the group froze and looked to the guests as well.

"Sudden question there, don't you think?" Karma commented as he walked in. Nagisa followed him in, katanas strapped to his back.

"I know, but when I thought about the differences in our worlds, I couldn't help but think of certain details." Kayano admitted as the two assassins sat down. Nagisa looked at Kayano. He knew she wanted to ask about her sister, but didn't want to seem uncaring about Korosensei.

"Well, he was. But he was somehow brought back." Toka said. The group looked at her in surprise. "Apparently he got bit by a mosquito that was filled with something that eventually brought him back as a human."

"Seriously?" Karma said in disbelief. Kayano smiled.

"That's great! Maybe that will happen in our world too!" she said excitedly. Nagisa also smiled in excitement as the classroom burst into chatter about such an idea, but his smile was only half genuine as he looked at Kayano.

"You think that's good news? How about the news regarding your sister?" Toka said. Kayano and Nagisa froze.

"My, sister?"

"She's alive in our world." Toka said. John looked at Kayano.

"There are plenty of differences between our worlds, but they're quite similar in certain ways. There's a chance that Aguri Yukimura is alive in this world too." he said. Kayano stared at them, before whipping towards Nagisa with pleading eyes. He nodded after a few seconds. He put his hands on the table and stood up.

"Alright team, we have a different plan. We separate into two groups. One group will deal with the tournament, the other will look to see if we can find Ms Yukimura." he said.

"But Nagisa. I know why we should do this, but is it the smart thing to do?" Karma interjected. "No offense Kayano. But there are certain differences between our worlds, what's to say that this is any different?"

"He's right Nagisa. I'm sorry Kayano, but with the upcoming tournament including fifteen other bounty hunting groups, all out to take us down, it might be a bad idea to split up the group. We might not have enough manpower to do both." Rinka said.

"As someone with my own sibling, I'm afraid I have to go with Kayano on this one. I'm willing to do anything for him." Ryu spoke. He didn't want to risk an argument with Rinka, but he had to say that.

"Same here. If there's even a single percent of a chance that she's still out there, I say we can take that chance." Yada said.

"I agree." Isogai said as he stood up.

"I don't. Like Rinka said, there's only so much that we can do by ourselves. Especially since my arm is damaged. It might be a better idea to stick together. We do have the prize to consider, Chiba." Itona said. Ryu gritted his teeth. He wanted to help Kayano find her sister, but he also needed the money to pay off his family debt.

"Uh, you guys do realize that you're not the only ones who can fight, right?" John said.

"Wait, he's right! John may not be a part of our group, but he's still a member of the Hunter Classroom. At the very least, a Hunter Classroom. He can help us!" Yada said excitedly.

"Hey! What about me?" Toka protested.

"YOU'RE PREGNANT!" The room roared, knocking her back into her seat. Nagisa turned to John.

"Are you willing to help us John?"

"Of course! You guys are members of a Hunter Classroom after all." he grinned.

"Now, we have some extra manpower." Isogai said.

"But how much? Shall we find out?" Nagisa challenged John. He grinned in response.

"Let's."

-Line Break-

"Wait, you want me to use my tentacles?" John asked Nagisa in disbelief. The two were in the dojo at Nagisa's house. The group, Sugino having joined them to see the battle, were sitting on the sidelines.

"The choice is up to you, but I want to see how I can fare against tentacle beings. That way, I might have an idea of what we might be up against. I am planning on going with Kayano."

"You think there will be tentacle wielders guarding Ms Yukimura?" Karma called.

"I think we should be prepared. Including for disappointment." this he directed at Kayano, who nodded in response.

"Alright, but I won't go all out until I feel you can handle it." John warned as he brought out his tentacles. Nagisa simply fell into a stance, holding his bokken.

"OK! Ready!" Sugino called, raising his hand. "...GO!" Nagisa rushed forward, surprising John with his unexpected speed. He landed a single blow on his chest, knocking him into the wall. John used his tentacles to push himself up, rubbing his chest gently.

"Wow, wasn't expecting that."

"How about this?" Nagisa slashed downward, John dodging. He whipped back with his tentacles, only for Nagisa to block the strikes with his bokken. John held his own bokken with his right hand on top, which he used to block Nagisa's next attack. They exchanged blows, both moving at incredible speeds. Ryu, despite having some of the best vision in the class, was just barely able to keep up.

"You're really fast!" John grunted as he blocked another attack.

"You're pretty good yourself." Nagisa said as he flipped over a tentacle, blocking other attacks as he fell down.

"I have to say you're better than me." John grinned.

"Then what's with the smile?"

"Because I know something, you don't."

"What's that?"

"I'm not right handed." John pushed Nagisa back and adjusted his grip. Left hand above the right, he stuck back. Nagisa narrowed his eyes. He had been fighting with a mix of kenjutsu and kendo, but now it looked like he was going to have to step it up.

"Not bad. But did you study shinkendo?" he asked.

"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask, what's shinkendo?" John responded.

"My favorite fighting style." Nagisa grinned. He tossed his bokken up and caught John's tentacles. He pulled John in for a kick, using his body as a springboard to flip back, and grab the flying bokken. He landed, holding the bokken in one grip. The two engaged each other again.

"Damn, whatever shinkendo is, you're really good with it." John said as he was hit again. In terms of speed and power, John and his tentacles had the edge, but Nagisa's ninja precision and skill were able to keep up with those advantages.

"Thank you. It's the first fighting style my grandfather taught me." Nagisa said as he leapt over John's attacks again.

"Compared to my Nagisa, I'd say you're the better fighter."

"But I'm guessing I don't outclass him completely." Nagisa said as he rolled forward and kicked John in the gut. He grunted as he was sent flying again.

"First, my Nagisa is smarter than you. Second, how the heck are you that strong?!"

"Let's call it enhanced training." Nagisa said as he leapt forward. John used his tentacles to block, bringing up his bokken to block a knee attack. Nagisa flipped over and kicked his back, sending John rolling forward.

"I thought swordsmen wouldn't attack from behind!" John grunted as he rolled forward and pushed off the wall.

"That's why I kicked you." Nagisa said. He stood up and got back into his stance.

"Well then, guess you earned the right to fight me at fifty percent." John grunted. His tentacles whipped out again. Nagisa's eyes widened as they became blurs. He quickly began blocking, grunting as John joined in the assault with his bokken.

"Wow, Nagisa is actually getting pushed back now." Karma said.

"John is moving too fast. It's all he can do to block." Itona said. Nagisa suddenly dropped down and swept John's legs from under him. John's tentacles shot down and kept him from falling down, but it still allowed Nagisa to flip back. The tentacles chased him and collided with his bokken, shattering it.

"We done now?" John grinned. Nagisa dashed forward, his hands in a weird position. He surprised everyone by slashing forward with his hands, even more so when John's jacket was cut. Nagisa walked backwards, a satisfied look on his face.

"Yeah, we're done." he said. John examined his cut jacket with an apprehensive look on his face.

'Yeah, this Nagisa is pretty badass. Someone who can keep up with my attacks at fifty percent, even though he only could block.' he thought to himself as he walked forward. He shook hands with Nagisa.

"Good fight. I was on even footing with my Nagisa without my tentacles, but you kept up with me pretty well. Rock and Creed also enjoyed the fight."

"Rock and Creed?"

"My tentacles have sentience."

"Wait, really? Huh. Neat." Nagisa turned to his friends as they walked over. Karma smirked at John.

"Really? Princess Bride?"

"Hey, AzureWriter83 watched it, so he can't resist putting in a few references." John shrugged.

"Stop that."

"Anyways, what do you think, Nagisa?" Ryu asked.

"He'll be great. John, you go with the members in the tournament." Nagisa said.

"Who's in that group?"

"Let's see. Volunteers for the rescue mission?" Nagisa asked. Kayano, Okuda, Isogai, Yada, and Ryu stepped forward.

"I'll be going too, Nagisa!" Ritsu chirped from his phone.

"Hm. With Okuda and Itona sitting out, that doesn't leave us with a lot of members. Maybe we should recruit some more members?" Nagisa turned to Karma.

"Yeah, but since we're entering the tournament, we should recruit someone who we know is good." Karma said.

"We'll talk about that later. For now, John." Nagisa turned to the tentacle wielder.

"Where is Aguri Yukimura?"

And now, the team has split into two different groups. One for the tournament, and the other for the rescue. John and Nagisa had their battle, and both were impressed with each other's abilities. Next chapter, the group will have recruited a few members, some permanent, some temporary. If you like this story, make sure to favorite it.
