Alright time for Ash vs Koga for the Soul Badge this will be the last 4 on 4 battles for gym leaders in Kanto, after this the last two will be full 6 on 6 battles. Also the next two battles will be trainer battles. After the will be the last two gym battles then the league will start.

It had been 2 weeks since battle with Gary, and now it was time for another gym battle. After finding the gym, they had to enter a maze to find the gym leader. Thanks to Lucario it wouldn't take long to find the gym leader.
"The 4 for 4 battle between the Gym Leader Koga and the Challenger Ash Ketchum is about to begin. Each trainer will use 4 Pokémon and the battle and the battle will be over when all of one side's Pokémon are unable to continue. Do both sides understand?" Koga's sister Aya said, as she took her ref position.
Receiving a nod from both sides Aya let out grin as she exclaimed, "Let the battle begin!"
"Weezing to my side!" Koga shouted as released, a purple Pokémon with two spherical heads, connected by a thin tube with another sphere in the center. Ash recognized it, since Team Rocket also had a Weezing.
Thinking about which of his Pokémon to use he decided to use one of his new Pokémon that had just evolved. Grabbing his choice Ash released a three headed magnet Pokémon that floated in the air. After catching it as a Magnemite it didn't take long for it to evolve into Magneton. Since Magneton is part steel type poison moves would effect it, however he still needed to be careful, Weezing could learn fire type moves as well.
"Begin!" Aya announced.
"Magneton Thunder Wave." Ash began, want to make sure Weezing couldn't move too much.
"Magneton!" Magneton said, as it released a weak stream of electricity.
Seeing his challenger's strategy Koga let a small smirk, before calling out his counter attack. "Weezing use Will-O-Wisp." Koga countered.
"Weezing." Weezing said as it created a ring of flames before launching it at its opponent.
The two status moves clashed before disappearing, no doubt this would be a difficult match for both.
"Flamethrower/ Thunderbolt!" The two trainers shouted.
The two attacks collided created black smoke, and pushing each other back. With The field cover in smoke both trainers called out their next moves.
"Weezing use Heat Wave." Koga ordered, deciding to use the smoke a coverage.
Before Weezing could reaction, a loud ear piecing sound could be heard, causing Aya to cover her ears, as did Misty, Ash and Brock. Koga thanks to years of trainer didn't need to, however the same could be said for Weezing who looked to be in agony as Magneton continued its Screech attack. A blue aura appeared around Weezing a is fell before disappeared as Weezing defensive stat lowered. Soon the screeching came to an ended, as Weezing was recovering, a blast of electricity slammed Weezing causing it even more pain. As the smoke cleared Ash gave Magneton another order for to use Flash Cannon. Hearing Ash's commands Magneton began gathering light energy, before firing it off towards Weezing.
As the attack came closer, Koga quickly countered, "Smoke Screen."
Weezing quickly opened his mouth, as it released think black smoke that once again blocked the view. The Flash Cannon missed, before a torrent of flames came through and slammed into Magneton. Magneton cried out in pain as Ash shouted out "Gyro Ball!"
Magneton began spinning at a rapid pace, and soon the flames were now being disbursed. Magneton began making its way towards the source of the flames. Soon Magneton smacked into Weezing sending it flying back. Snapping out of its spin, Magneton then fired a Flash Cannon. However, Weezing retaliated with another Flamethrower. The two attacks canceled each other out, however another arc of electricity struck Weezing. Weezing cried out in pain, as the Thunderbolt shocked its systems.
"Magneton now use Thunder Wave." Ash called out.
Magneton unleashed another small of electricity, as it connected to Weezing. Weezing cried out in pain, as electricity began crackling around its body. Not waiting to let advantage Ash called out for Tri Attack. Seeing his opponent Koga told Weezing to retaliate with Flamethrower, however Weezing winced as paralyzes took hold. The Tri Attack sent Weezing crashing into the floor. Knowing Weezing was close to being knocked out, Ash order for Flash Cannon. As the attack came closer, Koga countered by calling for a Shadow Ball. Weezing launched a purple sphere destroying the Flash Cannon. However, from behind the Flash Cannon, Magneton was spinning towards it with another Gyro Ball. Magneton smashed into Weezing, but before it could get away, Koga yelled out, "Explosion!"
"Magneton get out of there!" Ash cried out.
However, it was too late as Weezing released a powerful explosion attack. Smoke covered the field leaving Ash to wonder if Magneton could with stand the attack. But when the smoke clear, Ash would not get his wish as when the smoke cleared, Magneton was out cold, but since Weezing used explosion it too was knocked out.
"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, this battle is a draw." Aya announced.
Ash let out a sigh, as he returned Magneton, while Koga also returned Weezing.
"Sorry Magneton I let me guard down, but still you that Weezing beat your incredible, thanks for your help." Ash praised Magneton.
"Arbok to my side!" Koga called out his next Pokémon.
Releasing the purple snake, Ash noticed this one was much larger than his own. Still he need some to keep it at a distance, since Arbok preferred fighting up close. After thinking over his next choice Ash called out, "Marowak I choose you."
Calling out his ground type, Marowak stood tall as it twirled its Bone Club. After losing to Gary's Nidoking, Marowak began trainer extra in order to defeat Nidoking in the rematch.
"Begin." Aya announced the then battle.
"Marowak, use Swords Dance." Ash called out.
"Marowak!" Marowak said, as swords appeared around it, and spun around in a circle. A red aura appeared around Marowak as its attack increased. Seeing Ash's strategy, Koga decided to do the same.
"Arbok use Coil." Koga countered.
Hearing its trainer's command, Arbok coil up as a red aura appeared around it as its attack, defense and accuracy increased.
"Marowak use Bonemerang." Ash ordered.
Hurling its bone club with great speed, the bone club flew at Arbok with great speed, as it quickly spun around. Ducking underneath the Arbok the jumped out of an incoming Flamethrower. Unfortunately, this is what Ash wanted as Arbok jumped in position to be hit by the Bonemerang returning. Arbok fell face first into the ground, as Marowak regain his bone club. Marowak then fired an Ice Beam in attempted Arbok from moves around, but Arbok managed to maneuver out of the way in time.
"Arbok use Toxic." Koga said calmly.
Arbok then spat out a toxic spit that made its way towards Marowak, who quickly jumped out of its way in time. Arbok then released a Haze attack that covered the entire field, but Ash was ready for this.
"Marowak use Earthquake."
Hearing Ash's order, Marowak jumped before slamming his feet into the ground. The ground shook and shockwaves spread throughout the field. The tremor soon stopped as the smoke began clearing. As it cleared neither Pokémon could be seen, only two holes in the ground could be seen. Knowing the situation both trainers called out, "Earthquake."
Suddenly the ground erupted as both shot out from the ground, and slammed into the ground creating more shock waves. The two groups of shockwaves clashed both destroying the other, as the power struggle between the two moves clash, Marowak used another Bonemerang. The club smack into Arbok again knocking it down, taking the opportunity Marowak jumped into the air before unleashing a fierce Ice Beam. The Ice Beam covered Arbok in a case of Ice, Koga told Arbok to break out. Arbok struggle to break free, unfortunately Ash wasn't done yet.
"Marowak use Iron Head Then Stone Edge!" Ash called for the finish.
Marowak head gained a metallic color, and as it smashed into Arbok sending it flying. Then Marowak smashed his fist into the ground, summoning large pillars of stones. The stones smashed into sending it flying towards the wall. But before Arbok would hit the wall….
"Use Toxic!" Koga shouted.
Hearing Koga, Arbok shot out a purple liquid that connect with Marowak causing a purple hue to appear on its face. Arbok then caused into the wall before collapsing on the ground with swirls in its eyes.
"Arbok is unable to battle, Marowak wins." Aya announced.
"Alright, Ash is doing well." Misty complemented.
"True but, still is already down Pokémon thanks to the explosion from earlier, and Marowak is now poison. He needs to be careful, Koga still has a few tricks up his sleeve." Brock argued.
Back on the field both Ash and Koha had returned their Pokémon, with Marowak being poisoned, Ash didn't want to risk taking chances.
"Venomoth to my side." Koga said as he released the large purple moth.
"Venomoth." The Pokémon said as it fluttered about.
Thinking about his option, Ash decided to go with, "Kingler I choose you."
Ash said, as he released the large crustacean.
"Kookie, Kookie." Kingler said, ready to fight.
"Begin." Aya announced.
"Kingler use Bubble Beam." Ash began.
"Venomoth dodge and use Quiver Dance." Hearing Koga's command, Venomoth began a moving in a dance formation as the red aura increases its statics.
Not waiting Venomoth to power up Ash retaliated, "Kingler use Rock Slide."
Kingler let out a cry as several boulders appeared out of thin air, as they rain down upon Venomoth, who frantically moved around trying to avoid getting hit. Wanting to increase the pressure Ash told Kingler to use Scald. Firing a jet stream of hot water, Venomoth managed to duck underneath the water in time.
"Kingler Ice Beam." Ash called out.
"Venomoth use Psychic." Koga countered.
As Kingler fired the attack, Venomoth eyes glowed blue as it caught the attack. Venomoth then sent the attack back, only for Kingler to fire another Scald. The Scald eventually won over as went through before slamming.
"Double Team!" Koga ordered.
Before the attack could hit its mark, Venomoth created several copies of itself that surrounded Kingler.
"Kingler use Rock Slide then use Dig." Ash quickly countered.
Creating several more boulders that rained upon the field, Kingler took the advantage and burrowed under the ground. The boulder fell from the sky as the destroyed all the Venomoth copies. The original Venomoth managed to avoid the boulders, before stopping to do another Quiver Dance. But before he could finish the ground erupted Kingler shooting up from the ground riding a geyser. Kingler slammed full force into Venomoth sending it flying back.
"Kingler great, but don't let up, use Hydro Pump." Ash said waiting to keep up the pressure.
Unleashing a powerful blast of high pressurized force of water, sending Venomoth flying towards the ground.
"Venomoth straighten out and use Poison Powder." Koga called out.
Venomoth managed to regain control of itself, before releasing poisonous dust towards Kingler.
"Kingler use Dig." Ash quickly retreated Kingler.
Kingler managed to get underground again, before it could be hit. However, this didn't deter Koga.
"Venomoth use Sludge Bomb into the hole." Koga stated calmly.
"Kingler Bubble Beam." Ash countered.
The moment the brown, ball of sludge was shot entered the hole it exploded on contact with the Bubble Beam. Smoking came out from the hole, as Koga waited to see what would happen. Suddenly, Kingler shot out several feet from Venomoth, as it summoned another rock slide. Koga countered by using another Double Team, once again Venomoth avoid the assault, but before it could retaliate Kingler once again burrowed into the ground. Kingler then jumped out of the ground, as it fired a Bubble Beam. Venomoth then let out sound wave as a red wave of energy came out and destroyed the Bubble Beam. The Bug Buzz continued to make its way towards Kingler, using the same strategy as before Ash had Kingler burrow into the ground again.
Smirking Ash called out, "Kingler use Surf!"
A rumble could be heard, as the ground erupted as water flew out of the ground. The ground cracked as it caved in creating a small pond in the middle of the field. Everyone except for Ash and Pikachu were stunned at what they saw.
"Kingler use Ice Beam." Ash continued.
Sticking his claw into the air, Kingler fired the Ice Beam, who easily moved out of the way. Using the distraction, Kingler's eyes turned blue as the water rose. A giant wave headed towards Venomoth who began climbing in the air in an attempt to get away.
"Whirlpool!"
Launching a giant pool of swirling Venomoth was trapped, as the water surrounded it preventing it from moving.
"Wrap this up Kingler. Hyper Beam!"
Opening its large claw, Kingler fired a powerful beam of pure energy. The beam connected with Venomoth, who was sent flying from the Whirlpool crashing into a wall. Venomoth was stuck on the wall with swirls in its eyes.
"Venomoth is unable to battle, Kingler is the winner." Aya announced.
"Alright, one more battle and Ash wins." Misty said.
"Yah, and I get the feeling creating that pond is the key to winning this battle." Brock added.
"Really what makes you say that?" Misty asked.
"I'm not sure, but call it a gut feeling." Brock answered.
Koga returned Venomoth thanking for its work. A smile appeared on his face, no doubt Ash was promising young trainer. He was a bit disappoint this could be their last battle, after all Ash took out 3 of his Pokémon. And now he was down to one more, well if this was their last battle, then this would be a good one.
While Koga was in his thoughts, Ash returned Kingler, since he used Hyper Beam, he knew Kingler needed a rest in order to recharge. Taking out his secret weapon, Ash prepared his final choice.
"Crobat, to my side." Koga calmly called out.
On Koga's field emerged a purple bat, with a small round body, pointed ears, two large wings and the upper half of the body, while there were two small wings on the lower half of the body, and a pair of small feet. Grabbing his Pokédex, Ash took info on Crobat.
Crobat, the Bat Pokémon, and the evolved form of Golbat. If this Pokémon is flying by fluttering only a pair of wings the forelegs or hind legs, it's proof that Crobat has been flying a long distance. It switches the wings it uses if it is tired.
Putting his Pokédex away, Ash released his finally choice.
"Electabuzz, I choose you!" Ash said as he released a yellow humanoid Pokémon.
"Electa Buzz!" Electabuzz grunted, as it stared down his opponent.
"Electabuzz vs Crobat begin!" Aya called out.
"Electabuzz, Thunderbolt!" Ash began.
Gathering electricity, Electabuzz unleashed the attack, as a wave of electricity towards Crobat. Seeing the attack coming, Crobat countered by opening its mouth and firing several globs of sponge. The two attacks canceled each other out, creating a small layer of smoke. Both Pokémon stare down one another, as their trainers called out their next move.
"Air Slash!"
"Shock Wave!"
Once again the two attacks clashed, as they struggled to overpower the other. Smirking Ash decided it was time to bring out something he had been practicing.
"Electabuzz use Electro Ball." Ash said calmly.
Grinning Electabuzz knew what his trainer wanted, gathering electricity in between his hands, and ball of electricity was created. Then Electabuzz swallowed the Electro Ball, shocking both Koga and Aya. Electabuzz grinned as a yellow aura appeared around it. Even since Electabuzz accidently swallowed the Electro Ball, as an Elekid, Ash had been trying to recreate the technique. So they've had success not just with Electro Ball but with other moves similar to Electro Ball. From what they gathered this technique only work with Pokémon of the same type as the move they swallowed.
"Electabuzz use Thunderbolt." Ash continued the battle.
Unleashing a more powerful attack then before the attack quickly made its way towards Crobat. Crobat tried to block it with another Sludge Bomb, but the Thunderbolt plowed through the attack. Crobat narrowly managed to avoid the attack, only to be hit with a Shock Wave. Crobat screened out in pain, as the electricity crackled around its body.
"Electabuzz use Thunder Wave." Ash continued.
"Crobat Double Team." Koga countered.
A Crobat created several duplicate images of itself, as Thunder Wave passed through one. Switching over to Discharge, Electabuzz unleashed a large amount of electricity that tore through the copies. However, Crobat used Aerial Ace to avoid the shock. Crobat then slammed into Electabuzz with full force, sending Electabuzz sliding back. Glaring, Electabuzz's fist began cackling with electricity, as it threw a Thunder Punch, only for Crobat to fly back to avoid it. Growling, Electabuzz charged use a Discharge, only for Crobat to use another Aerial Ace to avoid it.
"Electabuzz use Protect." Ash called out quickly.
Acting quickly, Electabuzz created a green sphere around itself. Knowing Crobat would be too close, Koga told Crobat to switch over to Cross Poison. Electabuzz countered with a Thunderbolt, that collided with the Cross Poison. Electabuzz then fired another Thunderbolt, Crobat flew below the attack. As Crobat flew closer to the pond, Ash had created, Ash smirked as he yelled out, "Psychic!"
Grinning, Electabuzz's eyes glowed pink, as a pink aura appeared around Crobat stopping it midflight. Koga's eyes widen as he told Crobat to break free. Despite Crobat's attempt, Electabuzz's hold was to strong. Suddenly, Electabuzz through his hands down, this cause Crobat to fall into the water, struggling to get out.
"Finish it with Thunder!" Ash said.
Grinning Electabuzz unleashed a large shockwave of electricity, Crobat howled in pain the electricity lit up the pool of water. The attack was to much as it laid belly up in with swirls in its eyes.
"Crobat is unable, and Electabuzz is the winner. And that means the victory goes to the challenger Ash, from Pallet Town." Aya announced.
"Great job Electabuzz." Ash said, as he fists bumped Electabuzz, since he didn't like hugs.
Returning Crobat, Koga thanked it for its hard work. He then walked over to Ash.
"That was hard fought battle Ash, well done taking on my poison types. For proof of your victory at the Fuchsia Gym, I present you with the Soul Badge." Koga said, as he presented Ash with a pink, heart shaped badge.
"Wow thank you show much." Ash said, as he placed the newly earned badge in his case.
"I look forward to seeing what you continue to do in the future." Koga said.
