Sorry for my bad English.

Ryan and Koro went to the headmaster's office, leaving Sally alone with Unicorn, who said her goodbyes to her team leader and went to work in only god knows.

So all her team was busy with something, which means one thing, she is going to see Kiron. And with the Dance coming, she could get some points with him about their relationship.

So she immediately turns around and walks back to the training arena, knowing that he would be there training.

Looking around in each arena, she found her crush getting ready to train. Not wanting to interrupt him before even start, she sat down in one of the chairs to watch his performance.

But before he could begin, a blonde girl screamed his name and approached him. Upon seeing the girl, Sally frowned.

It makes months since Laura Bolt, a member of team SLDR, declared war against Sally over Kiron. Since then, they both did not spare efforts to sabotage each other.

Sally enters the cafeteria and immediately found Kiron sitting alone.

She called his name as she approached.

-Kiro-! -But she was interrupted by Laura who pushed her with force enough to send her flying away.

-Hey Kiron! -The blonde girl called him.

-Hello. -He greeted back.

Laura was waiting for Kiron in the locker room with a towel in her hands for him to clean the sweat from his body. She was going to call for him and give him the towel when Sally threw an already wet towel on her face.

Laura fell on the floor and removed the towel. Upon sniffing it, she notices that was a towel wet in sweat. Growling in disgust, she quickly runs to the nearest shower, leaving Sally alone to give Kiron a towel.

-Great work today. -She complimented him.

-Do you think? -Kiron asked.

It has been like that since the day their first meet, and both girls refused to surrender Kiron to each other. The archer knew what was happening but decided to stay out as much as possible from this than he already is evolved.

Seeing Laura approaching Kiron made Sally pount, but put that thought aside knowing that her crush would not like to be interrupted before begin his training, and this would give some positive points to Sally over Laura.

No guy likes a girl who never leaves him alone, right?

So the brunette smiled when Kiron shouted to Laura leave so he can start. The blonde girl apologized and left the arena, not before her golden eyes meet with brown eyes. They immediately frowned and keep glaring to each other until Laura left the arena.

Alone in the arena, Kiron summoned the training drones and started his training.

Sally watched as he skillfully took care of each drone, none of them begin the match to his skills in combat and archery. Three arrows were not shot before one second, and each one was shot in directions far from each other. Sally suspected that Kiron could shoot even more arrows but since it was just drones, he decides to keep at a low level.

The drones shot against him with the guns on their wrists, but Kiron dodges the shots and shot his arrows against the drones' wrists, destroying their guns. Normally someone would aim to their heads, but Kiron wanted to practice closer quarter combat as well.

So when the drones approached him with electric nightsticks, he did not shot any arrow, just fought back with his bow. Three of the drones jumped and attacked him at the same time, but he positioned his bow above his body and blocked the three attacks and using a breakdance moving, knocked the three drones out of their feet, with two of them crashing on the floor while he grabbed the leg of one of them and used it to crash the other, leaving the last one to go one against one with him.

Sally often wonders why did he train with those drones knowing they are no match for him.

She did not have time to ponder any further when Laura sat down by her side. She tried to ignore the blonde girl and keep watching Kiron training, but Laura began to poke on her.

-I didn't realize you are so childish. -Sally spoke.

-Since we are in the arena, how about we settle our quarrel at once? -Laura asked.

-What are you talking about? -Sally asked.

-Did I stutter? -Laura asked making the brunette frown. -You, me, in the arena.

-And why would I do that?

-It may be a bad idea to give you more brain damage. -Laura insulted her.

-And why would I waste my time with a blonde who barely knows the difference between being lovely and being annoying? -Sally replied to her, mentioning about when Laura approached Kiron before he began his training.

-Like I said before, to settle our differences once for all.

-I don't think that change slaps would put in the rest what we have. -Sally added.

-Are you saying that you need an excuse to kick my ass?

It was when Sally took the bite.

-When? -Sally asked.

-Kiron is busy with his training right now and will take a while to finish. We can go right now if you want to.

-Remember that you asked for it.

It was easy to find an empty arena since most of their classmates were more interested in the fight than watching.

So there were the brunette and the blonde, in the middle of the arena, facing each other with no living soul to watch their sparring. Sally prepared her pair of guns while Laura only had a pump-action shotgun.

Sally was surprised by the fact Laura also seemed to go with the classics, more surprised with the fact they both had something in common, but quickly put that thought aside.

-What you have in mind? -The brunette asked.

-The classic. The one who the aura reaches red first or loose consciousness loses.

The only fight Sally remembers seeing be over from losing consciousness was the one-vs-four Nikos had with CRDL. It means that if she knocks out Laura, she could meet with Kiron sooner, something she liked.

-Since we are the only ones here, how do we start? -She asked.

Laura answered by taking a coin from her breast pocket.

-Once this coin hits with the floor.

Now Laura was taking Sally as a fool if she ever sees someone think of her like that. She knows the moment Laura throws the coin, she will think that Sally's focus will be on it, distracting her from Laura for the blonde make the first move.

Laura didn't even wait for Sally to give an answer for her statement, and just threw the coin high in the air. Brown eyes glared to golden eyes, not breaking the eye contact for a second as the seconds itself seemed to slow down as the coin approached the ground.

She didn't need to see the coin, just hear it when it hit the ground.

With a loud *click*, the coin hit the ground and the battle was on.

And just like that, Laura charged at high speed with her shotgun in hands, wanting to make the fight personal. Sally knew that a shotgun was only effective if in close range, so she was not surprised.

What surprised her was the fact that Laura used the weapon in her hands as a club and aiming at Sally's head. The brunette used her gun to block the attack, the handle of the pistol connecting to the barrel of the shotgun, then Sally pointed her second pistol against Laura's face. Laura saw Sally's finger pulling the trigger and moved her shotgun to use the handle of her weapon to repeal the gun.

Sally pulled the trigger but the shot hit the wall in her right and Laura tried a kick that Sally dodge. She then gave a spin and pointed her gun to Laura's back, but the blonde put her shotgun on her back and blocked the bullet.

Laura was the one to spin around this time, aiming at Sally's leg. The brunette moved her leg away spinning and trying a shot at Laura's head. Laura gave another spin as well and tried to shot against Sally's chest, and the brunette hit the barrel away with the handle of her pistol spinning her body once again and shot against Laura's stomach, and the blonde pushed away from the gun with her hand and pointed her shotgun against Sally.

For nearly half-minute, the brunette and the blonde were spinning in the arena, repealing and shooting against each other, none of the girls being able to connect a single hit against each other.

Sally had to recognize that Laura had skill. While the brunette was able to dodge without her semblance, Laura was dodging pretty well.

The brunette had to stop her assault and jump away to reload her weapons, giving a backflip to get some space and reload her guns. Sally's bright lips curled in a smile seeing that Laura rushed after her, and Sally was ready for her.

Laura tried to tackle her opponent but Sally, showing great flexibility, curled her body back, dodging Laura's rush and, with the blonde practically above her, kicked her stomach. Laura feels on the side of her body as Sally was kneeling and reloading her guns.

The blonde groaned. She should know that it was not going to be so easy, at least for now.

Focusing back at her opponent, Laura grabbed her shotgun and used to block the incoming shots from Sally's guns, swinging the weapon like a club and repealing the shots. Sally slowly approached while pulling the triggers while Laura keeps repealing the shots, even when her opponent closer.

Once she was nearly face-to-face with Laura, Sally aimed a kick against the blonde's head. To her surprise, Laura blocked the kick holding Sally's leg by the ankle. Sally was expecting Laura to use her shotgun while holding her leg, so she was not ready when the blonde girl pushed her to the ground still holding her leg.

Once Sally's face meets the ground, Laura began to twist her opponent's leg. Sally clenched her teeth feeling the pain in her leg, she never once was put in a kneebar in her life as a student. Focusing on Laura, she saw the blonde girl pointing her shotgun against her. Seeing that one of Laura's hands let go of her leg, Sally rolled away nearly dodging the shot and freeing her legs.

While still on the floor, she pointed her pistol against Laura, who grabbed her wrist and leaned forward, holding the shotgun with one hand and pressing her weapon against Sally's neck, using her left-right leg to hold down Sally's right arm, and finally pushing Sally's left arm in a way that makes her forearm press against her shoulder, putting her elbow cap with a very discomfortable feeling.

Sally clenched her teeth again as she watched Laura on the top of her, smiling smugly as she put her in a submissive hold.

-Using arm and leglocks? This would have little effects on Grimms, but against human opponents... -Sally thought, knowing that if she does not escape the hold quickly, it will be hard for her to keep with the fight.

Sally kneeled Laura on the back. This made Laura lose a bit the balance on the hold she was doing with the shotgun, enough for Sally to headbutt the blonde. The brunette felt her left arm move again and she hit Laura's cheek with the handle of her pistol, getting her off from the top of Sally.

Sally threw her pistol to above and rolled away from Laura, then stood up and grabbed both her pistols in midair and immediately opened fire against Laura. The blonde had to use her shotgun again to block the shots and shot back against Sally, who dodges the shot jumping to the side while still shooting against Laura.

The two girls run around the arena shooting against each other, each shot missing the target. They both got out of bullets at the same time, prompting them both to reload their weapons at the same time.

Sally was not using her semblance, so she was caught by surprise when Laura shot her between her legs, throwing some debris on her face. Sally instinctively covered her face to cover her eyes and when she was able to see again, Laura was kneeling right in front of her.

-When did she approach me? -Sally thought and pointed one of her pistols against Laura, who surprised her by grabbing her wrist, jump and wrap her legs around her shoulders, the weight the blonde threw against her opponent sends Sally to the ground.

Sally's head was a bit dizzy and Laura took the opportunity to take her arm and apply an armlock. The pressure made Sally let go of her pistol as Laura applied more force on the hold.

The brunette clenched her teeth as she tried to release her arm from Laura's hold, with no success. She never had to deal with that kind of fighting style before so she had little knowledge of how to deal with it, so she did the only thing she could think in doing, she tried to walk away, still with her back against the floor while dragging Laura with her. However, Laura's hold was tight, not letting go of the arm.

You may be asking, why Sally just shoot Laura with her other pistol? It was because Laura crossed her legs across Sally's chest, using her crossed legs to hold down the brunette's other arm. Sally could not properly point her pistol and she had let go of the other when Laura put her down.

Seeing that crawl away was not working, Sally tried to kick Laura's head, something that was possible with her flexibility. Laura saw the feet coming to her head and was forced to back away, still holding Sally. The brunette persisted and keep trying to hit Laura on the head, and Laura keeps backing away until Sally put both her heels on the ground and pulled her to the feet holding Laura's leg. She pointed her pistol and shot against her opponent's back. Laura cringes feeling the shots against her back, being blocked by her aura.

The blonde was forced to let go of Sally's arm and roll away to where her shotgun was. Sally did the same with the pistol she lost the grip during the hold. Once with both girls with one knee on the ground, they both pointed their weapons against each other.

The three triggers were pulled at the same time and the guns opened fire at the same time, and both girls rolled away from the gunfire. Sally recovered first and shot against Laura, who jump away and while again on the floor, shot against Sally, who somersaulted while shooting against Laura. The blonde rolled away and shot against Sally. The brunette rolled away and shot once back at her feet.

The fight next resumed with both girls running around the arena while shooting against each other, opening big and small holes in the arena. Neither of the girls was able to hit a single shot as they run around the arena.

-This isn't going anywhere. -Sally thought.

It was time for her to get serious.

Seeing the cocky grin in Sally's bright lips, Laura knew that she was up to something.

Not wanting to give her opponent a chance to react, Laura rushed against Sally, ready to dodge any shot from her pistols and put her in another hold, but for the blonde's surprise, Sally not did anything. She just stood there, with her arms behind her back. Whatever she was planning, it made her underestimate Laura, something she thought in use to her advantage.

Once in front of Sally, Laura went to below and tackle her down, but was met with the heel of Sally's boot right on her chin. She rolled to the side to not lose the distance and once in her feet, pointed her shotgun against Sally. The brunette merely sidestepped and gave a quick leap to dodge a kick. Using her shotgun as a club, Laura tried to hit Sally with a powerful, yet precise swing. Sally dodge every swing and even teased Laura by not only dodging a straight kick but also pushing Laura away with her butt. Laura stumbled a bit before groan as she felt at least five shots on her back before roll away and while in her knee, point her shotgun against Sally. But she was surprised with a shot putting away her shotgun and two more on her chest.

Laura fell on her back groaning, but quickly recovered and run in a circle after Sally, who was shooting against Laura but not able to hit her. Laura tried a shot against Sally's leg, only for the brunette to take her feet away and shot against Laura's leg. Laura frowned while groaning as she stumbled back and pointed her shotgun against Sally, only to again a perfect shot put the barrel of the shotgun pointing to another direction as Laura received more shots, one on her left shoulder, one on her chest, and one on her right hand, making her lose the grip of her weapon.

Clenching her teeth, the blonde glared against the brunette, who was smiling like she owned the place.

Laura tried to move to the left, only to receive a shot on her stomach. She tried to roll back, only to receive a shot on the back in mid-roll. She tried to jump only to receive a shot on the stomach in the exact same second her feet left the ground.

With Sally's semblance, she could predict every move Laura could do and immediately think in a way to counter, or not give her a chance to react. Laura groaned on to the floor, thinking about how suddenly her opponent got so good in shooting when they were evenly matched in the beginning.

-It seems she was holding back. -Laura thought. -Allow me to answer in the same manner, Highwind.

-Are you ready to give up? -Sally asked since it seemed that Laura was not going to move for a while.

Of course, this not mean that the brunette would let her guard down, she was still paying attention to the future.

*Three seconds on the future*

Laura was still on her knee, without make any move. The moment Sally pointed her guns against the blonde girl, her eyes widened in surprise that in a second, half-second Laura disappeared, and the other half Sally was kicked in the face.

Sally was so surprised by what she just saw that she did not point her pistols against Laura, what not changed her vision.

Laura really disappeared right in front of her widen brown eyes, and nearly did not dodge the kick aimed to her head. Turning around, she did not saw her opponent and dodges a punch aimed at her spine. Stepping away, she saw Laura's face inches from her own, their noses nearly touching.

-She did she got so close? -Sally thought before was forced to dodge strikes from Laura with such speed that her eyes barely caught the sight of her fist moving.

If it was not for her semblance, Sally would have a swollen cheek by now.

She dodges, and dodges and dodges, being the only thing she could do. Laura was also surprised, it was not easy to easy but did not stop the blonde from keeping attacking. Sally specialized herself in dodging but even with her skills, it was hard. Laura's arms moved in blind speed and Sally did not know if she was seeing things, but she was sure that Laura's arms were glowing inside her sleeves.

Needing some space, she gave a jump back and immediately ducked to dodge Laura's fist coming, rolled away when the blonde's hand come down to grab her, gave a leap to dodge a sweep kick and while in midair, she was finally caught by Laura who grabbed her ankle. Her back meets roughly the ground and Laura puts her legs in a figure four position.

-Big mistake! -Sally stated and pointed her pistol against Laura and pulled the trigger. She was once again surprised when the bullets bouncing against an invisible barrier and were not her aura. -What?

Every time Sally pulled the trigger of her pistols the result was the same. Laura smirked and applied more pressure on her hold, Sally clenched her teeth as the pain in her legs got worst.

-Not used to holds, are you? -Laura asked.

-Let... go... of me...

-Fine.

Laura released her legs, and Sally wondered why she was released and discovered the reason when Laura moved in hyper speed and kicked her on the stomach. Normally she would have been able to dodge, but the damage in her legs made not possible. The force of the kick along with the speed Laura moved made Sally fly back and fall hard on the ground. She groaned on the floor while holding her stomach, even with her aura the kick did a number on her.

-She is moving so fast... It is her semblance...?

Her eyes widened and she rolled away before Laura could bury her head on the ground. Back to her feet, she began to dodge a blur of punches and kicks, even with one of her legs in pain. Sally could feel Laura's fingers brushing against the skin of her cheek, and her legs brushing against her clothes, the gust of wind coming from the attacks could send any normal person flying away.

She was only able to dodge despite her damaged leg was because of her future vision. Sally was dodging Laura's attack even before they began, but she could keep like that forever. Every dodge she was able to make she took one step back, and this keeps going until her back meets the wall. She saw it coming but was having difficulty in think in her next course of action.

Laura had a victorious smirk on her lips as she gave a full force jump but to her surprise, she hit the wall. She only notices because part of the concrete fell on her face.

-What the... -Laura asked and look around and found Sally in the middle of the arena. -When did she get there? I could barely see.

-Damn! I used it by impulse. -Sally thought and turn around and almost had a fist planted on her pretty face.

-This is getting on my nerves. -Laura thought. -Let's see you go through this!

Sally relied heavily on her future vision to dodge the attacks coming from Laura, but the worst thing happened in the future. And the worst thing that could happen is Sally not being able to see the future anymore.

Sally's semblance is a very powerful one, so she needs to be very focused in order to work properly. If she is fully focused, she can see at least five seconds on the future but is she is just focused, she can see two. If something breaks her focus, she can lose control of her semblance and stop seeing the future. So she was trying to pay full attention to whatever was going to make her lose her focus.

Laura was going be able to land a hit on her? No, the kick on Sally's stomach did not make her lose her focus.

Electricity? No, being electrocuted can make her lose her focus but it not seems that Laura can produce any type of electric shock.

Hit her head? Maybe, but even with Laura's speed, Sally was able to dodge her attacks. It was even harder with her damaged leg but she somehow managed.

Sally did not know what to expect, and when the time came, she tried.

Laura moved her arms in a way that seems like she was going to clap. Sally had just half second to be confused before both Laura's palms connected and a blind light suddenly flashed in the arena.

-Aaahh! -Sally screamed and covered her face.

There's no way she was expecting a flash of light in the situation she was, and she was not able to think about how Laura produced the flash when the blonde girl tackled her. In just one second, Sally was pushed against the wall with force, leaving her dizzy. They were in the middle of the arena but with Laura's sudden speed, they would not take a second to reach the wall from the center.

With the blind flash along with the damage she received after being pushed against the wall, it would not be possible for Sally to focus and use her future vision. With her back against the wall, her grip on her pistols long lost, she was not in a good position against Laura. With her back against the wall, Sally could do nothing but take punch after punch from her opponent. Laura punched the brunette on the stomach, on the cheek, on the chest, on the chin, on the shoulder, each punch causing great damage to Sally. Laura was strong, not strong as Ryan but she still was strong. Laura was attacking at her normal speed and while a bit dizzy, Sally could see the next punch coming.

This time Laura was the one caught by surprise when Sally grabbed her wrist and grabbed the blonde's head with her legs. Then Sally moved in a way that her arms reached Laura's shoulder, moving her legs from Laura's head to her right arm while Sally holds her left arm. The sudden weight puts Laura on her knees as Sally stretches her arms.

-Sambo, huh? -Laura thought. -Not bad, but not good enough.

Sally was so focused in her hold over Laura that she did not notice something coming from behind. Two fists together hit the brunette in her back, and again, and again until she was forced to release Laura and fall on the ground. Looking to who attacked her, she just saw what seemed to be a hologram of Laura. It was her exact copy, except for being most yellow-colored.

The real Laura kicked Sally on the stomach, putting her front against the ground, and the blonde put a foot on Sally's back and grabbed both her wrists. Pulling up her wrists, Laura stretches Sally's arms while pushing her down with her feet. Sally clenched her teeth as the pain in her arms slowly increased. It did not last long when Laura's copy kicked her face.

With Sally writhing and groaning on the floor, Laura made a second copy, both went down to grab Sally.

-Wha-get off me! -She yelled as she struggled to keep them from getting a hold of her, but as it was two against one and all the damage she received this was difficult.

One of the copies got her legs and pulled them together while putting weight on her knees so she couldn't move them. The other grabbed both of her wrists and pull them above her head. She squirmed and struggled but couldn't make herself free. Meanwhile, Laura went to the edge of the seats, glaring down to the girl who was now lying on her back, defenseless.

Laura tapped her elbow twice before jump down. The elbow landed right on Sally's collarbone. Sally choked as some air was lost from her lungs.

Laura smiled as she stood up.

-Did it hurt? -Sally's answer to Laura's question was a long whimper. -Good.

Laura then turns her back to Sally, gave a back somersault, and landed against her right in the middle of her stomach, and she choked again. Seeing that the brunette would not move so soon, Laura dissipated her copies and grabbed Sally by her neck, lifting her from the floor to the point of Sally's boots barely touches the ground.

Laura's face was the only thing in Sally's point of view, the blonde's face moved away from a little before lean forward quickly, and Sally's word went black.

Sally slowly opened her eyes, closing again before opening them, the first thing she saw was the ceiling. After the blur on her eyes cleared, she felt the effects of her fight against Luar on her body. Her head was throbbing, her muscles were in pain, and she could barely move.

Looking to her left, she notices the beds she could only find in the library. She remembers going there to get Koro, who was skipping classes while hiding there. Far on the room, she saw dangling in a chair Jason Redcross, the white-haired boy paid little attention to her as he stared at the ceiling himself.

-Sally? -She heard someone call and turn her head to the right to see Ryan, along with her team. -Are you okay?

-This... is the infirmary? -Sally asked.

-Yes. -Unicorn answered.

-Why... I am here... oww... my head...

-Bolt knocked you out on the arena. -Koro spoke.

-Laura?

-Yep. -Ryan said, gently putting an ice bag on her forehead. -She said you both were sparring when she accidentally knocked you out.

Accidently, yeah. Sure.

-She was still there when Unicorn came.

-Unicorn... came here first? -Sally asked surprised that her so stoic partner was the first to arrive.

-Something is wrong about that? -Unicorn asked.

-N-no... nothing at all. -Sally said with a smile, but soon it would disappear from her pretty face.

-Laura has a message for you. -Unicorn spoke.

-A message? -Unicorn nodded. -And what is?

-I have an escort for the dance.

And then, everything went down to Sally at once like a ton of bricks.

The reason why Laura wanted to fight her, and why she "accidentally" knocked her out during their fight. Laura knew that Kiron would not want to be bothered by two girls asking him about the dance at the same time, so the one who asked first would have more chances. Knocking Sally out would let Laura's path free to ask Kiron for the dance.

-She just wanted me out to ask Kiron about the dance. -Sally spoke without think.

-Man, that's a dirty move. -Koro said. -And I'm the one speaking.

-Are you going to be okay? -Ryan asked.

-I'll be fine. I just need some rest.

-Want to go to The Feeding Warriors once you recover? -Ryan asked.

-That would be nice. -Sally said with a smile.

None of them needed to be Unicorn to see that was a fake smile.

End of the chapter.

Last time I did this chapter, Sally fought against Kiron. Now, I thought to let the love rivals have their first confrontation, with Laura having unterly reasons to fight.

It was a bit bigger than I wanted but fights need to take some time to be written, and cannot last with little words, if you want to make a good fight at least. Next I will re-upload a chapter that I deleted because I felt it did was not made right and was lacking a thing or two.

That's all folks, see you next time.
