Tory was hurt after she hit the ground. God that was so humiliating. She had lost to Larusso again. How could that have happened? She came here to make Larusso pay for kissing Miguel and was so close. Then Larusso had somehow won. She's pretty shook up. Not only from losing the fight, or from Miguel and her kissing.
She was also shook by what could have happened. Tory had made several people pay before. But would she have actually killed Larusso? That wasn't exactly what Sensei Lawrence was trying to teach them.
The thought that she could have caused major blood loss, which could have lead to death, did make all this a little different. Tory's future could have been ruined. It still might be. She did break into this school after all.
But all that was pushed out of Tory's mind when she heard a scream and saw someone fall. He also looked very familiar. After a second Tory realised who it was.
"MIGUEL!"
