EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI

Part 6: The Emperor

You are already wondering where the hell is Gil? Well here we go. After Gil left Molly, he set out to find his father, Darth Krader. Then, on an imperial ship platform, an imperial shuttle landed there. Darth Krader was on that ship and got out of it. At the time, an escort of lobster troopers along with an imperial commander had Gil Gordon as a prisoner. He had his hands cuffed.

"Lord Krader, this is the rebel that turned himself in. Although he denies it, we believe that there are more rebels on the moon. I request an extensive search throughout the area. He was just armed with this" The commander said that giving Krader Gil´s lightsaber.

"Well done, commander. Leave us alone. Start your search and bring his friends in front of me" Darth Krader ordered.

"Yes, my lord" The commander answered. Then he withdrew with his troops leaving Gil and Krader alone to begin the capture of the other rebels. They were both silent for a short time until one of them decided to speak first.

"The Emperor has been waiting for you" Darth Krader said first.

"I know, father" Gil answered.

"So ... you have accepted the truth" Krader asked.

"I accepted the fact that you were once Gilligan Gordon, my father" Gil answered with confidence.

"That name ... doesn't mean anything to me anymore" Darth Krader said that a little bothered.

"That is the name of who you are. The name you wanted to forget. I know there is still good in you. The Emperor has not taken it all from you" Gil tried to convince his father. Gil turned his back on his father for a while "That's why you didn't destroy me before. And that's why you won't take me with The Emperor" His father lit Gil's lightsaber. The green saber.

"I see you've built your own lightsaber. Your abilities are complete" Krader said before turning off the lightsaber of his son "You really are powerful, as the Emperor foresaw"

"Father….Come with me" Gil proposed. He wanted to show his father that there was another path he could take. Leave the dark side.

"Master Grouper once thought like you. You don't know the power of the dark side. I must obey my teacher" Darth Krader refused his proposal.

"I will not be attracted. You must destroy me" Gil said confidently.

"If that is your destiny, it will be so" Krader said indifferently.

"Analyze your feelings. You would not. I feel the conflict inside you. Leave your hatred. Leave all this and come with me. There's still kindness in you" Gil tried to convince his father once more time.

"It is too late for me" Darth Krader said that before two lobster troopers arrived to take Gil "The Emperor will show you the true essence of the Force. He is your master now" Gil could only see his father with disapproving eyes. Gil felt sad. It seems that Master Grouper was right. His father was only a machine, his humanity had become extinct. There was only evil in him.

"My father ... is really dead" Gil said that with a bothered face. He was more sadder than angry. But he didn't show it. Krader was left alone and at that moment he was thoughtful about everything that happened. Could it be that there is still light inside him?

The journey was very quiet. It didn't take long for Krader's ship to reach the fearsome space station, the Second Death Star. Gil and Darth Krader walked through the halls in silence until they reached an elevator and took it to reach the Emperor's throne room. For each time they got closer, Gil could feel colder, it was the dark side. The dark side was strong in that room. Both finally reached the Emperor's room. It was a dark room with a large observatory behind the Emperor's throne. There was the governor of the galaxy, he had his back turned because his throne was a revolving chair. They both walked slowly closer to the throne of Darth Krader's master. The Emperor slowly turned his throne and finally saw Gil and Darth Krader face to face.

"Welcome, young Gordon. I was waiting for you. You won't need that anymore" The Emperor said that before doing something surprising. Gil's handcuffs broke on their own. It seems like he had enormous Dark Side power to move things by himself without trying too hard. He didn't even make a hand movement. That worried Gil a little. The Emperor's power was immense. The Emperor ordered his royal guards to leave the room. He wanted to be alone with Gil and Darth Krader. "I am very eager to complete your training. In time you will come to call me master"

"You're wrong. You won't turn me to the dark side like you did to my father" Gil answered very confident. Darth Krader was just silent. Although only his mechanical breaths can be heard

"Oh no, my young Jedi" The Emperor decided to rise from his throne and approached Gil "You will discover that it is you who is wrong. About so many very different things"

"Master, that´s Gil´s lightsaber" Krader gave his teacher his son's lightsaber. The Emperor looked at the handle of the weapon for a short time.

"Yes ... the Jedi's weapon. Much like your father's. But you already know that your father will never be able to leave the dark side of the Force. And so it will be with you" The snail with black clothes said.

"You´re wrong" Gil stands firm in his decision "I will die, and you with me" He just laughed at how naive he thought Gil was

"I think you mean the impending attack by your rebel fleet" The Emperor smirked. Gil was shocked. He was not expecting that "Yes ... I assure you. We are safe from your friends here" The Emperor decided to turn his back on Gil to sit again on the throne.

"Your weakness is your overconfidence" Gil said to the Emperor.

"Your faith in your friends is yours" The snail answered him.

"It is useless to resist, my son" Darth Krader commented.

"You do not understand it. Everything that has happened until today has happened as I have planned" The Emperor said with a evil tone. "Your friends who are on the moon will fall into a trap. Like your rebel fleet. Also, it was I who gave the Rebel Alliance the location of the shield generator. It is safe from your despicable gang. A whole legion of my best troops are waiting for your friends" Gil was already concerned. Molly, Goby, Deema and Bubble Puppy would be falling into a trap just as the evil sith planned "Oh oh. It appears that the shield will be active when the rebel fleet arrives" He said that with a provocative tone to make Gil angry.

Unfortunately it was working. Gil began to feel uneasy thanks to the Force. He could sense that his friends and the rebel fleet would be in grave danger. And he ... couldn't do anything about it.
