Another day in Paris where people dream and have high hopes. Marinette is an example of that as she was doing some fashion sketches in her book. She just sat at a bench in school and just worked on it.

"Hey, Marinette." Adrien said. Marinette practically got scared from hearing him. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. What are you working on?"

"Uh…nothing." Marinette said as she was a little embarrassed to show him her designs, but Adrien was able to see in her sketch book.

"Are those your designs?" Adrien said. Marinette was worried Adrien wasn't going to like it. "They're awesome. These look amazing."

"Really?" Marinette asked.

"Yeah. I heard you dream of being a fashion designer one day." Adrien said. "Hey, if I'm lucky enough, I might get to model your clothes one day."

"That would be a dream come true." Marinette said as she love the thought of that.

"Adrien wearing your clothes?" Both of them looked and saw Chloe with Sabrina. "Adrien, there's no reason for someone like you to look like a clown or a dork. Marinette doesn't know anything about fashion."

"Chloe, knock it off. Marinette's designs look great to me." Adrien said.

"Even if that's true, Marinette doesn't have what it takes. My mommy is the best fashion designer in the world." Chloe said. "She knows what's in and what isn't. If she says her designs are out, they're out and nothing can be done about that. Come on, Sabrina. I have a hair appointment to get to." The two of them walked off and Marinette did wonder what Chloe said.

"What if she's right? The fashion business is tough. Maybe I don't have what it takes." Marinette said. "I heard Chloe's mother discovered your father."

"No. Chloe is wrong and I know how we can prove it." Adrien said. "Alya runs a bunch of blogs. I bet if we model some of your clothes, ask what people think, you'll see people love them."

"You would really model my clothes?" Marinette said as she loved the thought.

"For you, anything." Adrien said and Marinette loved hearing that.

Chloe

"Make sure those people know exactly what they are doing with my hair." Chloe ordered Sabrina.

"Of course, Chloe." Sabrina said. "In fact, I made sure they give you the best cosmetologist they've got. He has five stars."

"Excellent." Chloe said. "Can you believe Marinette actually thinks she has what it takes to be a designer? In her dreams."

"Dreams. I don't think so. Nightmares are more powerful." Both of them turned around and faced with a blue monster. He launched some sparkling sand from his hands.

"Hey! You'll ruin my hair!" Chloe complained, but she didn't have to worry about that because she and Chloe fell asleep.

"Sandboy just checked. Now nightmares can begin." He laughed as he was placing others to sleep. "Enjoy your sleep. It's one none of you will ever wake up from."

Luka

Luka just sat on the street as he played his guitar. Some people even gave him a couple bucks, but he was just playing for others to enjoy it.

"Luka! Just the person I was looking for!" He stopped playing and spotted Alya heading over.

"Hey, Alya. What's up?" Luka asked.

"We need your help with something." Alya said. "Adrien wants us to model some of Marinette's clothes. He's hoping to give her a confidence boost for her dream of being a fashion designer. You in?"

"For Marinette? Sure. A girl like her deserves to have her dreams come true." Luka said. Both of them got moving to help the others, but they got an alert on their morphers instead. "They never learn."

"Always got rotten timing." Alya said as they hurried to where there was trouble.

Sandboy

Sandboy continued to spread his sand around the city. So many people have already fallen asleep and he took pleasure in it.

"Who's next?" Sandboy questioned as he looked around and spotted two innocent people. "A lovely couple. You two can sleep together for all eternity." He was about to put them to sleep, but that was when he was blasted. The rangers arrived and got the people to safety.

"That's close enough." Francis said.

"What have you done to these people?" Nino said.

"The same thing I'm going to do to you, Rangers!" Sandboy said as he got back up and charged at them.

"Miraculous Slasher!" Francis pulled out his weapon and tried to slash Sandboy, but Sandboy jumped over him and kicked him right in the back. Adrien and Luka tried using their weapons together, but Sandboy caught both of them and threw them to the side. He used the opening to smash his arms against them. Nino and Alya stepped in with their weapons and tried attacking together.

"Nice try!" Sandboy said as he tossed some of his sand at both of them, but they disappeared when it hit. "What?!"

"Over here!" Nino said as he showed his real self and smashed his shield against him. "Thanks for the illusion, Alya."

"No problem." Alya said.

"Now I'm mad." Sandboy said as he was going to attack, but Marinette used her yo-yo and coiled it around his arm.

"You're not doing anything." Marinette said.

"You think you can stop me?" Sandboy said. He used his strength and pulled Marinette closer to him. "Pleasant nightmares." He tossed some of his sand over Marinette and it was working on her. She demorphed and fell right to sleep.

"Marinette!" Adrien called.

"What did you do to her?!" Francis said as he charged right at him. He used his sword and got him away from Marinette as Alya checked on her. Francis swung down, but Sandboy jumped back.

"Sandboy just checked in. Now nightmares can begin."

"What do you mean?" Adrien said.

"Every person I've put to sleep has around twenty-four hours. I say about sunset tomorrow." Sandboy said. "Once their time is up, they'll be asleep forever and could be trapped in never ending nightmares."

"Not if we take you out now!" Luka said as he used his lyre. He played some strings and unleashed some music notes that blasted Sandboy.

"Something tells me I better check out. I just need to stay out of sight until time is up." Sandboy said. "So long, rangers!" He used his sand and made an escape and the rangers couldn't go after him.

"No. He's gone."

"On no. The sun is already setting." Alya said as they watched the sun go down. "By this time tomorrow, Marinette may never wake up." She's not the only one. After tomorrow, so many people may never wake up again.

The Next Day

Sandboy made quick work around the city. So many people have been placed to sleep. Some have been taken to the hospital, but there are too many people. Some of them have been taken to the school to help keep some of them. Those who were awake were all worried for those who were asleep.

"Marinette, wake up." Tom said. As soon as her parents were told what happened, they rushed right over to see her, but Marinette was fast asleep.

"This is bad." Alya said. "So many people have been placed to sleep."

"You're right, Alya." The rangers turned around and was met with Fu. "This is bad. Not only are we down a ranger, but these people will be asleep for all eternity if something isn't done."

"Master, do you know a way for us to fix this?" Francis said.

"I'm afraid the only way to do that is to defeat this Sandboy." Fu said.

"But how? He's hiding away." Nino said.

"He's going to stay hidden until sunset." Alya said.

"Where's Luka? Shouldn't he be helping?" Adrien asked.

"That's what he's doing. He said he's trying something that might help." Francis said. "Knowing him, that's what he's doing. He's just trying to make sure it works."

Luka

Luka was working on his ranger powers. He was trying to perfect a plan of his that just might be there only chance.

'I won't let Marinette down.' Luka thought as he worked with his lyre. 'If that monster is destroyed, she'll be okay. I won't let him do this to her." Luka continued practicing with his lyre. This plan of his has to work or Marinette is a goner.

Hawk Moth's Hideout

"What are you doing here?!" Sandboy was hiding out in Hawk Moth's hideout, but he and Mayura did not look happy with him.

"Hawk Moth… I'm just staying hidden until the people asleep stay asleep." Sandboy said.

"I created you to get me the miraculous power." Hawk Moth said. "As long as the rangers are still out there, it doesn't matter. Maybe you're really of no use to me." He held out his hand and Sandboy was scared.

"Wait. I did managed to get the pink ranger." Sandboy said as he pleaded for his life. "By the time the sun sets, she'll be asleep forever and out of your hair. I just need to stay hidden until that happens."

"One less ranger IS better than nothing." Mayura said.

"Fine." Hawk Moth said as he decided to let Sandboy go. "I suppose one is better than none, but be prepared. The rangers are smart. They won't let their friend go without a fight."

"I'm not worried. They'll never be able to find me." Sandboy said as he was confident in his win.

The School

Marinette's parents stayed by her side. Both of them were really worried about her and didn't know what to do to help her. Adrien walked over with a bucket of water with a rag.

"I thought this could do something to help her." Adrien said as he soaked the wag.

"Thank you, Adrien." Sabine said. Adrien doused Marinette's head with the wag and it appeared to have waken her up. "Marinette!"

"She's awake!" Tom said. Her friends hurried over to her.

"Mom? Dad?" Marinette said.

"We're right here, honey." Tom said.

"Marinette, are you okay?" Alya asked.

"I feel so tired." Marinette said.

"The water must have had some effect on her." Francis said.

"You've got to try and stay awake." Nino said. "If you fall asleep, you'll be asleep forever."

"I'm sorry. You're all so worried about me." Marinette said.

"Don't be. It's not your fault. You've got nothing to be sorry for." Adrien said.

"I'm sure those great power rangers will figure this out." Sabine said.

"Only they'll have one short." Marinette whispered. "I'm sorry. I wish I…could…." Marinette was starting to fall asleep again.

"Marinette. Marinette!" Tom said as he tried to shake her awake.

"The water isn't enough. It only had a temporary effect." Francis said. Adrien knew Marinette felt so guilty about the whole thing. Seeing her like this and the chance of losing her was too much for him. He got up and ran off.

"Adrien, wait!" Nino called as the other three went after him. Fu stayed behind to help the people, but he was hoping the rangers would do something soon.

Adrien

"Sandboy! Come out and fight!" Adrien shouted as he was searching blindly. "You can't do this to Marinette! Do you hear me?!" Adrien was starting to tear the place apart and searching every place he could in a frantic manner.

"Adrien, stop!" Nino said as he grabbed a hold of Adrien.

"That won't do any good." Alya said.

"We have to do something!" Adrien said. "Marinette is one the nicest people there is. He can't do this to her."

"We all feel the same, but he's going to stay hidden until time runs out." Alya said.

"What about the dog miraculous? Can't we track his scent?" Nino said.

"I already tried. His scent is in that sand and it's everywhere." Francis said. "We're going at this all wrong. Rather than us going to him, we need a way for him to come to us."

"How?" Adrien said as none of them had the answer to that.

"Guys!" All of them looked and saw Luka was able to find them. "I think I have an idea that just might work."

Sandboy

Sandboy continued to wait in Hawk Moth's hideout, but he was starting to get bored waiting around.

"How much longer until the sun goes down?" Sandboy questioned. Suddenly, he felt something strange and was beginning to hear music. "What's that I hear?" He noticed something on his arm and it looked like a music note. "What's going on?" He began to feel himself being pulled. "What is this?!" He was being pulled somewhere and was transported.

…..

Downtown

Sandboy was transported back into the city and he crashed into the ground.

"What the heck was that?" Sandboy said as he felt like he got off a nasty ride.

"Now we have you." Sandboy looked up and was faced with the rangers.

"Rangers? What's going on? How did you get me here?" Sandboy questioned.

"We have Luka to thank. It was a brilliant idea, Luka." Francis said.

"What idea? What happened?" Sandboy said as he was getting annoyed with no answers.

"It happened in our last fight." Luka said. "After you told us what you did to Marinette, I figured you would try and stay hidden until we ran out of time. So in my last attack, I tagged you with one of my notes. Once I started playing my lyre, it summoned you over to us. I wasn't so sure if that would work. So I had to get as much practice as I could. It took a while, but it worked."

"Now there's nowhere for you to hide." Adrien said.

"All we need to do now is take you down and wake everyone up." Alya said.

"Think again. Look." Sandboy said as he pointed to the sky and they saw the sun was going down. "I only have a little time left. So I just need to hold out until then."

"We're not going to give you that time!" Luka said as he tossed his lyre and it slashed against Sandboy.

"I'm out of here!" Sandboy said as he made a run for it, but Alya used her flute to create a mirage of walls and he fell for it. Nino took his turn as he bashed his shield against Sandboy. Adrien was next as he used his staff and smashed it against Sandboy. Francis pulled out his massive sword and jumped into the air.

"Falcon Dive!" Francis came right down and gave a powerful slash against Sandboy and it completely destroyed him. "That should do it."

"Think again." All of them looked and spotted Mayura. "Sandboy hasn't gone to sleep yet." She pulled out a feather and released it with Sandboy being revived as a giant.

"Look at me. Now I am dreaming big!" Sandboy said.

"Oh no. We're almost out of time." Adrien said.

"Without Marinette, we can't form the megazord." Alya said.

"Luka, it's all up to you." Francis said.

"You got it." Luka said as he pulled out his sword. "Snake-zord, Arise!" Luka called on his snake and he had his snake transform to its megazord form.

"I'm going to put you to sleep for good!" Sandboy said as he tried to attack, but Luka stretched out the megazord's whips and got them around Sandboy. He spun around and tossed Sandboy away and he crashed against the ground. Luka looked over to the sun and saw it was almost down.

"I'm almost out of time. I've got to end this." Luka said. "Double Whiplash!" Luka used his finishing attack and stretched out the whips as they became twin rays and blasted against Sandboy.

"I guess I'm going for an eternal nap." Sandboy said before he collapsed and blew up with him destroyed. As soon as that happened, magic spread through the whole city and it awoke all of Sandboy's victims. Marinette did as well with her parent's so glad for that.

Hawk Moth

"So Sandboy was defeated?" Hawk Moth said. "You haven't won yet, rangers. Your time will come. When it does, your nightmare will be my dream come true."

The Next Day

As soon as Marinette woke up, everyone went back to that modeling idea that Adrien suggested. All of them wore Marinette's designs and they all looked good. Thanks to Alya, it was spreading around the web.

"Looking good guys." Alya said. Marinette was loving it as well and was hoping for good feedback.

"Adrien, thanks a lot for doing this." Marinette said.

"Of course. You're a nice person, Marinette. You deserve it." Adrien said. The two of them were chatting real nice and the others noticed it.

"Look at those two over there." Nino said. "You know, Adrien acted a little different yesterday."

"Do you guys think it's possible that Adrien is starting to develop feelings for Marinette?" Luka questioned, but Nino and Francis didn't think so.

"Naaa."

Guys! Reviews about the clothes are coming in and everyone loves them!" Alya said as she showed them and they were all good. Marinette couldn't believe it.

"See, Marinette? One of these days, your dream will come true." Adrien said and Marinette love hearing and seeing it. Dreams might happen when we sleep, but one day they do come true.
