The third police officer then said "Is this one of the skills you picked up when you were stationed in Paris? Even so, how shall we go about this?" The lady officer then replied "I will take charge, with offering a ride for him to wherever he wants, if he does have any connection to Widowmaker or if she makes her move, we will know."
The first officer then replied after a moment's pause "Very well, we will let you have this, since you seem to know how it works." The female officer then saluted and said Merci Sir."
She then started to march over to where Brian is, still wondering what to do, the female then said "Bonjour Monsieur, do you need assistance?" Brian the looked up to the attractive police woman and then said "I am fine, thank you, just looking for a means of transportation."
The lady then replied "There is no need to worry about that, I am able to give you a ride, anywhere you wish." Brian was a bit confused as he asked "Wait, is that even allowed?"
The Policewoman then said "It is normally our policy for when young travelers, alone and underaged to rent cars arrive without a plan, we help when we can." Brian then said "I did not know that such a policy exists." The Policewoman then said "In this region anyway."
Brian then said "Well, thank you, I guess I will take you up on that offer." the Policewoman nodded her head and then guided him to where her car was parked so that they may begin driving, and her operation would begin.
(Later on the Road)
It was currently cloudy out as the two were driving down the highway in a dense forest area where were few cars present, though it has been quiet for the most part, they did talk for a little bit.
The Policewoman asked to reaffirm her understanding "So you come to France in order to understand our cultural, political and historical aspects?" Brian nodded as he replied "Yup, I am actually interested in around the era where the French Monarchy was ending."
The Policewoman said "Really? So what drove you out here?" Brian replied with "Well, in this area there are some Chateaus that once belonged to wealthy royals until they lost power at the end of the Revolution."
After hearing that, the Policewoman then added "Oh? And not because of anything else?" Brian did find it weird that she sounded like she was trying to fish for more information, he caught onto her, he then said "If you mean besides meeting with Widowmaker, then no."
She realized that the jig was up, and there was no more hiding, so then she pulled the car over to the nearest splinter in the road, and went behind few trees far from the main road. She put it in park and was prepared to confront the situation she was in now.
She then turned to the young man and said "So you knew all along?" Brian then said "Well, I kinda figured it out recently." The Policewoman then said "You do realize that you plan to consort with a dangerous individual right?"
Brian then replied "I do, but it is not what you think." The French officer continued with "She killed many people, even some of her fellow countrymen, I do not think you do understand!"
Brian then said "It is not like that, there is more to her than what she has appeared to be, Deep down she has feelings!" The woman then said "Listen, if you tell me where we can find her, I am certain that we can get you safety."
Brian paused for a moment before he then started to answer with "People once thought the same thing about Overwatch, they were shut down because of some bad things they did, they even turned to mercenaries." The Policewoman realized that he has a point.
Brian continued as he said "And it is only until recently that they returned to help save the world, This can be the same for Widowmaker." The Policewoman was starting to have a sense of conflict, she doesn't know what to think.
She then gathered up what to say next, which was "So going to where Widowmaker is, what is it you hope to get out of it?" Brian then said, pausing for a moment to rub the back of his head and said "Because, I am going to spend time with my family."
The Policewoman was just looking at him with a blank expression hiding a sense of surprise, did he really say that she thought to herself, he was much younger than her and Widowmaker and yet he make a child with her.
