Playa De Losers Resort

Luke quietly walked up to the entrance of the Playa De Losers resort, bags in tow as the limo left him at the gates. He opened the gates of the resort to see the rest of the eliminated contestants welcoming him in, ready to catch him up on what he's missed. As he walked up to them, he saw Koda run up to him, hugging him.

"Luke! Our old team captain!" He said, smiling as he let go. "I'm so sorry about what happened to you. Lizzy is a real snake."

"So you know what happened, you have to tell me." Koda let go of Luke, who didn't hug him back, and looked at him.

"Oh, it was terrible. She played you good, and that's coming from me." Ivy said, snapping at Denzel to grab his bags. Because of his inability to stick up for himself and say no, he obliged, grabbing his bags and taking it to a table outside near the pool as they left the gates. Luke and the others followed him and he sat down hurriedly, ready to hear what happened to him.

"She flipped your entire situation." Koda told her. "She came up to Piper crying saying that you don't trust Piper, how she wants to get Mickey out and then Piper."

"But that was Lizzy who doesn't trust Piper, not me." He said.

"That's what makes her so powerful, man." Walter said to her. "She floated through this game, trapped in her emotions of whether or not she should be good or bad, but now she's finally choosing what she wants to be, and she's there to fight."

"She could be climbing her way up to being the token villain of the season" Carson said.

"Hey!" Ivy exclaimed. "I'm the token villain of this season."

"Then how'd you get eliminated?" Arin said, popping a bubble in his mouth from the bubble gum he was choosing. Hinley, who was standing behind him, high-fived him. Ivy seethed with anger, but Walter put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

"It's just not right what she did." Luke said, sighing.

"Dude, that's the game." Jason said. "Nothing we can do about it now. Just enjoy your time here."

"Yeah," Carson said. "And when you're ready we've got all the episodes on DVR."

"Though I still haven't watched any old episodes." Jackson added. "I'm just not ready yet."

Luke looked around the resort, at the towering palm trees, the Olympic-sized pool, the bubbles of the hot tub, and his breathing calmed down. He thought about what his mother might have thought, if she even watched the game, and felt disappointed on how he had been duped so easily. He wishes it could be different, but he knew he had to move on and just enjoy the rest of his time.

Screaming Sopranos Boys Room

As Xavier and Dustin re-arranged and cleaned the last of the empty spaces in their room, they heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Dustin said. The door opened, and Shawn and Mickey came in with the last of their stuff.

"Hey, guys, good to see you." Xavier said. Shawn and Mickey dropped their stuff onto an empty bunk, and Shawn paced around the room, looking for something.

"I wonder if it's still here…" He said to himself.

"Wonder if what's still here?" Dustin asked. As soon as he said that, Shawn's eyes lit up as he lifted the curtain to reveal something on the wall.

"Yes!" Shawn exclaimed. "Hey, come check this out." The boys gathered around the wall and Shawn pointed to a drawing on the wall. It was a drawing of two skeleton hands making a rock and roll fist in the air.

"I made this last season when I was bored. Cool, right? I can't believe no one erased it."

"That's because Chris would have to hire a cleaning service, and that takes out of his hair stylist budget." The four laughed at Dustin's joke. Shawn looked around, closing the door, having an idea.

"Hey, you guys aren't tied down to any alliances, are you?" He asked.

"No." Xavier said.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we could have a guy's alliance, you know?" Shawn said.

"Shawn and I are already-" Shawn elbowed Mickey at his hip to get him to not finish what he knew he was about to say, not wanting to get busted.

"So close to you! We feel so close to you and would love it if we could work together, arrange a final four deal, y'know." He said. Xavier looked at Dustin, and Dustin shrugged.

"Sounds like a good deal." Dustin looked over to Shawn and Mickey. "I'm in!"

"Me, too. Count me in." Xavier said, fist bumping Shawn and Mickey separately.

"Hey man, we're gonna go finish some cleaning in our old bedroom, and if you wanna chat or fill us in on anything, we'll be good." Shawn said, beginning to step out with Mickey. As soon as the coast was clear, he looked over to him, whispering.

"You almost blew our cover." Shawn exclaimed.

"How are we going to work with them and work with Lizzy, Sami and Piper?" Mickey asked innocently.

"I don't wanna work with Piper anymore. I'll stay in it for Sami, but if we work with her it feels like we haven't even left our team, you know? We have to… branch out to different people."

"But we have a promise with her." Mickey said, not understanding. Shawn stopped as soon as they got to the door of their old room.

"Look, we'll have to just pretend we're still with Piper, and work with Dustin and Xavier on the side. We can feed whatever we hear from the girls over to Dustin and Xavier." Mickey looked at Shawn, unsure.

"I don't know, it seems sketchy."

"Look, if you want to have Piper, Sami and Lizzy as your main allies and you treat Dustin and Xavier like your side alliance, go for it, but I will be putting all my energy into Dustin and Xavier. But I already said we'd do it, so you can't back out now." Mickey sighed, understanding his point.

"I guess if you put it that way." He answered.

As the two were about to answer the doors, Sami came running up to them.

"Shawn, I need to talk to you." She said, panicking.

"Now?" He groaned.

"Yes. Is this room clear?" Sami grabbed him by his shirt collar, and Mickey followed as she dragged him to their old room.

"Ow, ow, ow." He yelped in pain. Being friends all their life, he knew Sami wasn't afraid to do what she needed to get him to listen.

Sami looked at him, sitting on an empty bed across from the boys as she lowered her voice.

"I accidentally made an alliance with Dustin, Xavier and Naomi." Mickey looked at Shawn as she said that, and the two looked back at her. Mickey didn't know what to say in fear of blowing their cover, so he allowed Shawn to lead the way.

"What happened?" Shawn knew he could trust Sami, as the two of them have been friends since diapers, but he wanted to listen to what she'd said first.

"I was talking with Naomi, she's my friend, you know, and she said she would love it if we could all still work together. I didn't know what to say, I panicked, and I said that sounds like a great idea and that she would talk to the boys."

"But what about us, Lizzy and Piper?" Shawn asked, putting on an act, wondering if he could use this to his advantage.

"I don't want to work with Naomi. She was one of my first friends in this game and I love her but I made a pact with you guys, I couldn't say no to her!" Sami slumped down into a crouch position on the bed, wondering what her next step would be and whether or not she made a mistake telling Shawn and Mickey this proprietary information about her game play decisions.

"Dustin and Xavier asked us to work with them." Shawn said, motioning to him and Mickey. Sami brought her legs to dangle over the bed, leaning forward.

"What?"

"We were getting our stuff into their room and they asked us to work with them, to have a guy's alliance."

"So maybe she didn't talk to the boys after all." Sami said optimistically.

"Or maybe they want to do a side alliance, too."

"We have to get her out." Sami said. "This whole thing is a mess. We're working with Piper and Lizzy, but you're also working with Dustin and Xavier, but I'm working with Dustin, Xavier, and Naomi. I can't cope with it all."

"Look, we just have to pretend everything's all right. We all do solos, no duets, we don't publicly pledge our allegiance to anyone. No one has to know." Shawn said, Mickey nodding in agreement.

"But who do you want to work with primarily?" Sami asked. "Lizzy, Piper and I, right?"

Shawn thought about how he would answer her. She was his best friend, and he felt morally obligated to tell her everything, but he also knew this was a game and he couldn't tell her the whole truth or trust her on a game level. He knew how close she was to Piper as well, and couldn't risk telling her anything.

"We may have said yes to them, but we are on your side, 100 percent. It's the same thing as you, we couldn't say no to someone offering us an alliance out of suspicion, so I guess, you know, it's fine if you have your side alliance. Just don't get caught by Lizzy and Piper, just like we won't get caught. Like I said, no one has to know." Shawn shrugged as he began taking off, Mickey following him.

"I don't know, Shawn, it sounds like a bad idea to lead them on like that." Shawn put his hand on the doorknob, pausing.

"Don't freak out." He said. "I know how you can get. Just stay calm and everything will be alright."

As she walked out and moved her separate ways from the two, she began to get a funny feeling in the pit of her stomach. This wasn't the Shawn she's known her whole life, and she didn't totally believe he's in it for their side.

Confession Cam

Sami: For the first time in my life, I don't think I trust Shawn. I don't believe he's really not into their offer. I don't know what to do, or if I should tell Piper and Lizzy what they think, or if I should be scared of what he can say or do and keep my mouth shut. *she sighs, looking down at the ground* Things were so much easier last season.

Sami knocked on the door of the girls room, hoping Piper would be in there. The door opened and Lizzy was behind the door, smiling. She began to feel nervous, wondering if she was about to do the right thing or not.

"Hi Sami! Good to see you!" She said.

"Are you alone?" She asked.

"Piper's here with me. You need something? You seem stressed." Sami walked through the door, locking it behind her.

"What's wrong?" Piper said, looking up from her magazine. Sami paced around the room, calming down before sitting on a bed across from her.

"I think Shawn and Mickey are using us." Piper put the magazine down from her hands, looking at her.

"What makes you think that?"

Sami looked at the girls, explaining everything Mickey and Shawn had said to her and talking about her worry that he's going to use their alliance as a secondary alliance to spy and bring information to Dustin and Xavier, and leaving everything out about her "alliance" with Naomi.

"Do you think Mickey is on Shawn's side?" Lizzy asked.

Sami thought about what she said. "It's hard to tell."

"I don't think Mickey is totally on board with this. I think Shawn is definitely putting Mickey in a bad situation because of how vulnerable Mickey can be." Piper added. "God, we've been merged for a day and already he's betraying us."

"So what do we do?" Sami asked.

"I think it might be time to say bye-bye to Shawn." Piper said, smiling deviously.

"No, we need to stay neutral with Shawn." Sami said, speaking on emotions at this point. "If we're unsuccessful in getting him out and we avoid him for the week because of it, he's going to know something is up."

As Lizzy began to say something, it became interjected by the doorknob wobbling, indicating someone was trying to get in. The three girls acted natural as they heard someone walk in, Piper laughing as she held her magazine up.

"That reminds me of something that happened last season! Do you remember when-" Piper looked up from her magazine, seeing it was just Lila. "Oh hey, Lila!"

"Ciao. I just came to get my swimming suit." She said, going to her dresser. As time went by in the mansion, her English had gotten much better.

"Wait." Piper said, stopping her. "Do you have a second?" Lila turned around.

"Sure!" Piper invited her to sit next to Sami, across from Lizzy and Piper, who were sitting next to each other on the same bed. She explained to her the situation, hoping she wouldn't regret telling her.

"So, would you want to be part of our alliance?"

"Sure. I've never been part of anything before." She said, smiling. Without Denzel, she felt alone, but she felt so happy to know these girls cared for her and had no idea they were using her to have an extra vote on their side.

"Great! Welcome to the team." Piper said. "Can we join you swimming?"

"That sounds like fun!" Lila said.

The four girls began to dig into their dressers, happy about the outcome and their deal.

Confession Cam

Lizzy: I gotta admit, getting the Italy girl on our side was a good idea. She seems like she'll do anything we say. But, I still don't trust Piper.

Thanks so much for reading! I'm sorry if this felt so choppy, but I feel like I definitely made some errors and instead of just re-doing a chapter I'm just trying my best to incorporate it into the story. Usually I don't do these "filler" chapters anymore, but I decided to try something new. I am almost done with making the set list for the challenge chapter, but if you know of something that fits your character's word, let me know and I'll add it instead!

I hope you're all doing well. I am always a message away if you wanna chat!
