I gasped, as I fell. I willed myself to shapeshift, over and over again… Until….my plan had worked! I looked down and I had shape-shifted into an eagle, but I kept flying lower. I flapped my wings even harder and propelled myself to reach the top. Once I saw the top of the cliff, I expelled a spurt of magic and toppled onto the cliff, where I painfully morphed back into a girl. I had no idea how much time had passed, had it been a week? A month? A year? I gasped and rolled over. I glanced around and scrambled to my feet. I saw straight ahead the Doors of Death. I groggily stood up and began to run towards them. As I ran towards the Doors, I saw that Los Chamacos were there. I smiled slightly. One of them motioned me to enter the elevator. I entered as I collapsed inside the elevator. Los Chamacos barked at me and they said "Goodbye! Thank you!" I laughed and one of the Chamacos pressed the button and the Doors closed. I was going home, finally…..
