A/N: Hello peeps! Here is Chapter 20 for you all! As always, go to Chapter 1 for disclaimers. Without further or do, here is Chapter 20.

Chapter 20: New Life

Two months passed and it was time for Kamaria and Nadia to give birth. Both Chaka and Kopa were pacing back and forth waiting on the news on their mates. Just a month ago Chaka and Kopa had their mating ceremonies and it went off without a hitch. And the good news was Chaka had recovered from his injuries, but he still wasn't as strong as he used to be before his head was slammed in the wall of the gorge. As of now both Chaka and Kopa were now 4 years old and had full grown manes. Chaka had a full-grown jet black mane while Kopa had a full-grown brown mane. "Man this is taking so long," Chaka said as he was pacing.

"Right?" Kopa said as well as pacing. "When are we going to hear that they're going to be okay?"

"Do you not remember how long it took your mother to give birth to your sisters Kopa?" Simba asked with a smile.

"I do," Kopa said still pacing. "It feels like this one is much longer than mom giving birth to Aisha, Kali, and Kiara."

"I agree," Chaka said still pacing as well. "I remember Queen Jamila back at the Rock Lands having quite a long labor because of her having a miscarriage."

"You had to wait that long?" Kopa asked his eyes wide.

"Yeah we all had to wait that long," Chaka said, remembering that they had to wait outside the birthing cave in the Rock Land for hours. "We worried if she'd survive the birth. And thankfully she did which I'm grateful for it because she was very kind to me and Damu when we first were there."

"That must've been hard for you guys," Kopa said.

"It was," Chaka said. After what seemed like hours Nala emerged from the birthing cave, a smile on her face. "You have a son Kopa," she said with a smile. Then she turned to Chaka and said, "And you have a daughter Chaka."

"A son?" Kopa whispered. "I have a son!"

"A daughter!" Chaka exclaimed at the same time.

"Congratulations guys," Kali said with a smile. "You both are now fathers."

"Thank you guys," Kopa said with a smile. "Let's go see our new kids." With that Chaka and Kopa went inside the birthing cave while the others stayed outside to give Chaka and Kopa some space.

When Chaka and Kopa entered the birthing cave they saw Kamaria and Nadia laying in the middle. Kamaria was holding a light brown bundle between her paws while Nadia was holding a golden bundle in her paws.

"I'm very proud of you my dear," Chaka said giving his mate a nuzzle.

"So am I," Kopa said also giving his mate a nuzzle.

"She's beautiful isn't she Chaka?" Kamaria asked giving her daughter a lick.

"She most certainly is beautiful," Chaka said with a nod.

"Your son's beautiful isn't he Kopa?" Nadia asked, giving her son a lick while Kopa had wide eyes.

"Of course he's beautiful," Kopa said. "I'm just a little shocked. He has the same fur as Simba and my father. Is that normal?"

"It is bro," Chaka said with a nod. "I remember Simba telling me Uncle Mufasa gets his amber eyes from his grandfather Mohatu. So it is normal for some kids to look like their grandparents."

"Oh ok," Kopa said. "Now I get it. I was just curious that's all."

"No worries," Chaka said with a smile.

"So what do you want to name our son Kopa?" Nadia asked.

"Well," Kopa began. "I really don't know. I'm honestly thinking if I should name my son after my father."

"I thought you didn't like your father that much?" Chaka asked confused.

"I don't like my father," Kopa said. "But even after everything he's done to me and my mother he's still my father regardless. I still love him and still think of him to this day which is normal."

"Oh I get it now," Chaka said, now getting it.

"So you want to name your son Asante?" Nadia asked.

"Well I also do like the name Asante," Kopa said. "So I think Asante should be a good name for him."

"I agree," Chaka said with a nod. Just then Asante opened his eyes and looked at the group with wide sea-green eyes.

"No need to be afraid there little one," Kopa said gently nuzzling his son. "We're all your family."

"And we all love you very much," Nadia whispered.

"So Chaka," Kamaria began. "What do you want to name our daughter?"

"Well," Chaka began. "I really don't know honestly. I haven't been picking names so it's been a little tough for me."

"You could name her Keesha," Kopa suggested. "It means great joy."

"I like that name," Chaka said with a smile. "I'll go with Keesha."

"I like the name too," Kamaria said giving her daughter a lick. With that, the group spent the rest of the day admiring the newborns.

The next day and soon it was time for Aisha and Kali to give birth. Since they are still Nala's daughters, they were allowed to be in the royal birthing cave. After what seemed like hours Aisha and Kali finally gave birth. Nala approached the group who were waiting outside the birthing cave with a smile on her face. "Aisha has a son and Kali has a daughter," Nala informed the group.

"That's great!" Kopa exclaimed happily. "How are they?"

"Why don't you see for yourself, honey?" Nala said motioning her son to enter the cave.

"Yes we should go inside too," Chaka said, looking at Penda and Kiara. "Afterall we're family. It's sad that Simba is doing his rounds but he'll come later." With that, the group went inside the cave to see Aisha and Kali and their new cubs.

When the group entered the cave, they saw Aisha laying in the middle with Kali right beside her. Kamaria and Nadia had left the birthing cave earlier today and decided that their cubs are away from the pride for a month. When Aisha and Kali saw their family a smile went across their muzzles. "I have a son Penda," Aisha said her sea-green eyes sparkling.

"Yes," Penda said nuzzling his girlfriend. "Your mother told me. So let me see him." Aisha moved her paws and revealed a sandy brown bundle. Penda bent down and gently nuzzled the newborn with his nose. Upon feeling his touch Aisha's newborn son opened his eyes and revealed the same sea-green eyes as Nala, Kopa, and Aisha. "He's very cute," Penda said smiling at the newborn.

"He is," Aisha said smiling. "Although I am not proud of who his father is I still love him to death. It's only been day one and I already love him."

"So do I," Kali piped up. "I love my daughter and it's only a day since I met my daughter." Kali then moved her paws and revealed a golden bundle. Just then she opened her eyes and looked around with wide light blue eyes.

"Where does she get those sky blue eyes from?" Chaka wondered.

"She must have got those from her birth father," Kopa commented. Then he realized what he said and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean too..."

"No, it's ok Kopa," Kali said with a smile. "I've put what that no good of a lion did to me behind me. I'm going to focus only on good things. Like my daughter."

"Now that's the spirit," Kopa said with a smile. "Your daughter most certainly is not lacking a father figure. She has me, Chaka, and Penda to step up. So your daughter is going to be fine."

"Kopa's right Kali," Chaka said. "Although if you're going to look for someone else to be your daughter's new father then we get it. We can be just her uncle's and not her father figure."

"I don't know if I will find a new mate to help me raise my daughter," Kali said. "But if I remain single then so be it. At least I still got my daughter."

"So what're their names?" Kopa asked after a minute.

"Well," Aisha began. "I'm gonna name my son Nafasi. He's my son and I like the name Nafasi."

"And I'm gonna name my daughter Nadra," Kali said. "It means precious. And I love the name."

"Well welcome to the world little Nafasi and Nadra," Kopa said smiling at his new nephew and niece. With that, the family spent the rest of the day admiring the newborns.

A/N: Well there you guys have it! Kopa and Chaka are now fathers! And Aisha and Kali are now mothers! But it seems like Kali is planning to find a new mate...
