Author's Note: Hey, guys! I did Remus and Sirius, while sillykitty201 did James. This chapter will be mainly about how they all make up, and stuff like that.

Remus Lupin

James Potter

Sirius Black

I was so bloody mad at Sirius.

Because of him, I had to return home and make everything right again. See, because Snape knew about my condition, he had told Dumbledore, and Dumbledore had sent a letter to my parents that explained what had happened.

My overprotective parents sent a letter to me to come home, because they worried that I might get into more trouble. I had oblige, but there was one thing I needed to do first.

Someone needed to take my place, because it might raise suspicions among

the students (and my friends) if I vanished randomly without a trace.

Dumbledore allowed me to clone myself using magic, and that's what I did. This was good, because the clone didn't have to do much talking to them since I was mad at them. All I had to ask the clone to do was avoid them, and be angry at them.

But, even if I wasn't around, I was still mad at Sirius.

And so, I left school.

After leaving school grounds, Dumbledore used side - along - apparition to get me home.

Ah. Home, sweet, home.

I walked inside the quaint place I call home. When I walked inside, I could smell my mother's famous chocolate chip cookies. I went to my room, and I put my bag next to my bed, and then I laid down on my bed.

I loved my bed. It was so warm and comfortable, and it reminds me of home. I lay sprawled across my bed for some time, which is when my mother pops in my room.

"Remus! You scared me! I didn't know you're home.. oh, dear, I didn't finish the cookies…"

"Mom, it's fine." I sat upright on my bed, and she came to sit beside me.

"So, how's school? How are your friends?"

I put up a fake smile, and said "Everything's great. My friends are.. perfectly fine."

My mother nods. "I'm sorry that I had to bring you home, Remus, but honestly, I was worried. You don't mind staying until February? Then, at least I know that you're safe with us until then."

I thought about this. Three weeks were quite some time to hold a grudge, but then again, look at what Sirius did! I nod slowly, and my mom smiles. Then, she gets up.

"Anyways, you go and freshen yourself up. The cookies will be ready once you're done."

I nod, and she leaves. I decide to finally get up and take a nice, long shower.

I spent most of my time reading textbooks, and Dumbledore had sent me some homework to complete for school. I was supposed to finish the work, then send it back, and my clone will claim that he had done it. Other than schoolwork, I was pretty bored. In school, classes and homework took up most of the day, but us Marauders always had time for pranks and whatnot.

Honestly, I do miss the pranks. I miss Sirius's amusing jokes, James's cheery laughter, and I also miss all those times when Peter and I got those two in line. Heck, I even miss Snape's snotty attitude.

I needed to go. The Marauders were a sole part of my life. They were always with me, through thick and thin, and even though some of us make mistakes, we're still like brothers to one another.

"Mom, I need to go back to school," I told my mother during dinner.

"But, Remus, stay with us until February. It's only two more days." she said.

I shook my head. "I need - I need to fix some things. Don't worry, I got my condition under control."

"But, Remus! That idiotic Black did spill your secret, didn't he? How can you trust that those friends of yours will continue to keep that secret?! Honestly, Remus! I was worried when you told me you were friends with a Black! He seemed nice at the time, but now look at what he's done!"

I stared at her with distaste and newfound ambition.

"Sirius is not idiotic!" I yelled angrily. "And the Marauders will always be there for me, thick and thin!"

I grabbed my things from my room, stuffing all my belongings hastily into one suitcase. Then, I stormed the hell out of there.

Okay, so, in hindsight, maybe storming out of there wasn't the best idea I've had.

I was on the road, which meant I had to walk all the way to school. This was not good. I needed to find another wizard as soon as possible, or I would never make it. As I walked, I passed a lot of Muggles. I could tell that they were Muggles because they seemed to really fit in with the crowd. Wizards wore quite odd Muggle clothing.

At last, I finally spotted a bizarre man dressed in a yellow rain jacket and pink leggings. I walked over to him, and discreetly, I whispered, "Are you a wizard?"

The man nodded, and I smiled. I walked beside him, and started talking. "See, I'm from Hogwarts, and I need a ride back. Could you possibly help me?"

He thought about it for a moment, and then nodded.

"I might possibly be able to Apparate both of us to the carriages that the children use to go to Hogwarts. You'll have to use the carriages for the rest of the way, though."

I nodded gratefully.

"Thank you so much, sir!"

He tipped his hat, and bowed a little.

"My pleasure," he said, "Now, hold on tight."

I held on, and I was immediately whizzed to the carriages at Hogwarts. The wizard Apparated back, and I started walking to the school.

I had some friends to talk to.

Once I reached Hogwarts grounds, I quietly stepped in. I went to the dormitory, and I was pleased to find that no one was in there. I walked in, and laid my stuff next to my bed. I inhaled the scent of the room, which is when my clone walked in.

He looked alarmed, and then he quickly looked around and locked the door.

"What are you doing here?" he hissed, and I explained everything.

"I suppose you better vanish me now, right?" he asked, and I nodded.

I muttered an incantation, and pointed my wand at the clone. Then, my clone just vanished with a poof. It's almost like he was never there.

I unlocked the door, and I started setting my things on my table.

That's when James and Sirius stepped in. They looked like they'd been outside running, but Sirius was freezing. I guessed it was probably because he was hardly wearing anything. I frowned at this, but I didn't dwell on it any further.

James got a serious look on his face when he saw me.

"We need to talk," he said.

"Yes, we do," I agreed.

I sat down on the bed, and Sirius began talking.

"Remus, I swear, I'm so sorry about what I did. I really didn't mean it, I swear. It just slipped, and I didn't mean to hurt you or anything."

"Sirius, I forgive you. I understand why you did what you did. Just.. don't let it happen again." We both hugged each other, and James looked so happy. Well, he is the mother hen, after all.

"Well, that went by fast. Good thing I didn't need to intervene," James joked. We all laughed. That's when Peter walked in. He looked awfully surprised by the sudden change of events, but I could tell he was relieved this was all over.

And, guess what? I was too.

Because the Marauders are the Marauders, and we will stick together.

No matter what.

Sirius was an idiot. He knows it. He's admitted it multiple times.

Yet, I'm still mad.

It's odd, isn't it? Remus is the one who nearly got killed, and sent to Azkaban, yet I'm the one who's mad.

Not to say that Remus isn't mad, because he is.

Boy… he is.

It's been an awfully awkward two weeks. Sirius lives in the same room as us, but we're all ignoring him. He's apologized multiple times, but we couldn't care less.

Sirius knows that we're not going to forgive him in a while. He knows that apologizing isn't enough.

I wonder what is enough.

It's not like I'll immediately forgive Sirius if he brings me a gift or whatever. We both know bribes won't work on our friendship. We both know a simple apology and a gift isn't enough. We both know.

The morning after the incident, after I had managed to get it through Sirius's thick skull that what he did was wrong and unprecedented and horrible, Sirius talked to Remus.

I'm still trying to get the echoes of Remus's screams out of my head… *shudder*

The whole school heard him for the most part. Nobody figured out his secret because, of course, we had the argument in the Room of Requirement. (I dragged them there once I heard Remus start, because otherwise everyone would know his secret. The bloody idiot… Peter joined, of course.)

By Merlin… I really do have a fucked up life.

I guess that's what you get when you team up with a werewolf, a Black, and a Peter.

I remember once Sirius told me I wasn't fundamentally fucked up in the head like the rest of them.

There is truth in that statement of course. Remus has to deal with being a werewolf. Peter has self-esteem issues. Sirius has a horrible familial life.

Me? I just have a perfect family who loves me. I have perfect grades (for the most part), and my biggest problem in this world is probably Lily Evans.

But, if you continue to dwell on that statement...

Lily Evans has called me many horrible things. That should do a blow to my self-esteem, right? Yet, I'm always there for Peter after someone bullies him. I'm there for Sirius everytime he gets a horrible letter/howler from his family. For Godric's sake, I'm an animagus for my friend the werewolf!

So yeah, I may not have a horrible life all in itself, but if you take a look at the people around me.. what I do to comfort them?

Well, I suppose I'm just as fucked up as the rest of them.

I grab my invisibility cloak, and head out of the dorm. Remus is reading, as usual, and Peter is struggling with some charms homework.

I don't feel like sticking around, so I'm going outside.

It's snowing outside. Wonderful.

Wrapping my invisibility cloak around me, I head to the tree by the lake. Sitting down in the snow quietly, I begin staring out to the lake.

That's when a voice breaks the silence.

"What am I going to do, Nellie?"

Nellie? Wait, what?

Nellie is what Sirius insisted on naming the giant squid in our second year. He insisted that it was a name made for perfection and greatness. We didn't argue with him, and soon the whole school knew the giant squid as Nellie.

Nobody called her that though, except for one person…

"Sirius?" I whisper softly, but nobody answers. Guess he didn't hear me.

"Great, now I'm hearing things too. Nellie, I'm so lonely without my friends that I'm hearing them whisper my name now! What is wrong with me!?" Sirius sounds slightly hysteric now, but he continues in a softer tone, "Nellie… I really, truly, am sorry. I swear I didn't mean for it to go so far. It was a prank. I didn't think…" he trails off, sighing as he does.

"That's my problem. James tells me that my problem is that I don't think. I don't think before I do. I don't think of the consequences," he laughs dryly, "Now look where I am."

There is silence for a while as I ponder his words. Sirius just exhales quietly. I turn my head slowly, and see Sirius sitting on the top branch. He's leaning against the trunk, legs on the branch. He has no coat or cloak. No gloves, or scarves, or boots.

What is wrong with him!? He could freeze!

"Nellie, do you think they'll ever forgive me? I am sorry. I really am. But I know that's not good enough. I can't help but wonder how long they're going to make me feel guilty… oh great. There I go again, thinking about myself. I nearly got Remus sent to Azkaban, yet here I am, thinking about my guilt. Nellie, what is wrong with me? I guess I am a Black, huh? As much as I try, I just can't escape the clutches of my family. Fantastic, now my friends will never forgive me. I'm all alone, Nellie."

"But you're not," I say quietly, and Sirius stumbles further into the tree.

"W- what?"

I throw off my cloak, and look up at him.

"You're not alone. You're sure as hell not a Black. And I do forgive you."

"P- Prongs?"

I smile, "Hello, Padfoot."

It's the first time I have called him that in two weeks. I think it's what leads Sirius to finally believe that I really do forgive him. He slowly pushes his legs off the branch, and hops off.

I open my arms, and Sirius jumps to me, and hugs me tight.

Then, I let go of him, smiling at him.

"Thanks, Prongs."

"Of course," I tell him kindly.

We begin walking back before I start chastising him for his attire.

"And, why aren't you wearing any scarves! Or your cloak! You would have froze! What is wrong with you!?"

Sirius looks at me with wide eyes. We both stop.

"Prongs…" he starts, and then he takes off, running towards the castle to get away from me.

"Oi! Get back here!"

And I run after him. Because no matter if he made a mistake, no matter if he sat outside in the cold snow with no cloak (although we will be talking about that)... Sirius Black is still my best friend.

That is enough.

I get it, okay?

I was stupid to have told Snape about Remus's secret. I still can't believe I did that!

I don't think any of the Marauders even deserve me as their friend.

I'm a back - stabbing, stupid, annoying idiot.

And, like expected, all the Marauders ignored me. I deserved this.

A lot.

And yes, I was pretty lonely. Life was so dull lately, and there was no cheer in it anymore. I guess I never really realized how much the Marauders really meant to me.

Okay, that's a lie. They've meant a lot to me since first year.

Plus, my only companion was Nellie the giant squid.

I tried playing games with Nellie, but let's just say squids are very lazy. I threw a ball on the other side of the river, but Nellie didn't move an inch. Nellie was mostly good at listening to conversations.

"Nellie, I hope they forgive me, don't you?" I told Nellie one evening. Except, I don't think I should be forgiven. I'm pretty sure what I did was unforgivable.

Well, Peter didn't think so. During lunch, I sat at the Gryffindor table, away from my friends, when Peter scooched over to me. I looked up from my plate, surprised that Peter was sitting next to me.

"Hey, Sirius. You know.. even if James and Remus don't forgive you, at least know that I do."

I smiled weakly, but frowned again. "I don't think I deserve forgiveness, though. What I did was pretty unforgivable…"

He shook his head. "Well, I guess it was a little stupid, idiotic, and er… stupid (I laughed at this), but everyone makes mistakes. I forgive you."

I looked up into his tiny, little, eyes, and I felt something that I hadn't felt ever since I told Snape about Remus's secret.

Hope.

James quickly forgave me soon after that, and soon enough, the band was back together!

A few days after we were all buddies again, Snape came over to us.

"Can-" he started, but stopped suddenly. He looked as though whatever he was about to say next might just make him puke. We all stared at him suspiciously, and he finally talked.

"Canwehangoutforawholeweek? Iwon'tbotheryouafterthat," he said quickly.

James looked at him, his eyes narrowed into slits.

"And why would we do that?" he asked. We all nodded in agreement.

"Uhh.. because.." he paused for a second, and sighed. "Look, Lily is really mad at me, and she wants me to hang out with you. If I do it, then she'll be friends with me. I can't fight with you, and I have to agree with whatever you say," Snape added hopefully.

James thought for a second, and then made a signal for us all to huddle in the corner, away from Snape. Snape sighed and rolled his eyes, but he stood there waiting for us.

"Do you want to do this?" James whispered, looking at each of us.

Peter shrugged. "Sure, why not? It'll be interesting."

"I guess, but we kick him out as soon as he causes any bit of trouble," I said sternly. James nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, that's good." He looked at Remus. "What about you?"

"I agree with Sirius," he said plainly, and James nodded.

We all walked over to him.

"We're in," James said, and I could see a flash of hope in Snape's eyes. James opened his mouth to say something else, but I beat him to it.

"But any sign of trouble, and we kick you out," I said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'll see you later," he said, and he walked out.

I looked at each and every one of the Marauders in turn, and said, "Time to have some real fun."

It's been five days since we've been hanging out with Snivellus, and I have to admit, it's been fun annoying him with all our pranks. It was doubly fun because ol' Snivellus couldn't even complain.

"One word out of you," James said, "And I will tell Lily."

It was finally the sixth day, and this time, James had something very special in store for Snape. He told us his plan in the morning.

"So, today we'll let Snape do whatever we want, but we can secretly work on a prank for him," James said.

"I love it," I said happily, but Remus frowned.

"Won't he be suspicious that we're letting him off?" he asked.

"Please," I replied. "Snivellus would accept our offer in a heartbeat."

"Well.. if you're sure.." he said, and I was plenty sure. Snape has been exhausted and tired with our pranks. He even used liquid luck to take a day off from us. That stupid brat even made us do his homework for us.

It was time for some serious payback.

James grabbed the textbook that we nagged from the restricted section, and held it up.

"There's a potion in here, and it says that it can give the person a temporary daydream about anything we want," he said.

"Okay.." Remus said, listening intently.

"So, I was thinking, we can make Snape daydream about-"

"-Lily?" I finished.

"Yes!" James said, smiling. We know each other so well.

"I like it," Peter stated.

"I don't know you guys.." Remus started, but I interrupt him.

"Come on, Remus, you worry too much!" I say, and James nods in agreement.

"So it's settled, then? Great! Let's get working on the potion!" James said (yelled) happily, leaving no room for argument.

"Is it done yet?" James asked for the third time.

Remus didn't respond. Instead, he put in another ingredient, and stirred for a few minutes.

"Now it's done," he said, annoyed, giving James a glare.

"Wait, guys? How are we supposed to give this to him?" Peter asked suddenly. I realized the same thing too, and we all turned to James.

"Wha?" James asked incredulously.

We all looked at him.

"Fine! Yes, I do have a way. We're going to have to go to the cafeteria, and then tell the house elves to give Snape the soup."

"How do you know they'll listen to us?" Peter asked.

"Oh, come on! We always go to the kitchens! Of course they'll listen to us!"

We all shrugged, and James walked us to the kitchen. All the house elves were busy preparing food, and when we came in, they all started bowing.

Boy, I could get used to this treatment. Kreacher hardly obeyed me at home.

"House elves, I demand you to-" I began, but James interrupted.

"Just help us with something," James said, eyeing me suspiciously. I huffed, while Peter and Remus cracked up.

"What is it, master?" a house elf asked.

"Umm.. can you pour this in the soup special today, and put this in front of Severus Snape?"

Another house elf looked at the potion warily, and said "It's not going to kill him, right?"

"No!" James protested loudly. "We are not murderers!"

"If you say so.." the house elf said, and took the potion. He sighed, and said "It will be done."

Another house elf came from behind, and said "Would any of you sirs like something to eat?"

I smiled. "Well.."

At dinner today, we all watched as Snape drank down his soup. It's almost like watching something in slow motion. It took quite a while for the effects to take place.

Then, Snape stared into space. "Lily.." I could see him mouth. Then, he made a kissy face. We all laughed so hard. It was hilarious. Even his friends from the Slytherin table saw him.

When Snape was finally out of the day dream, he looked around, surprised, and turned beet red. He turned to look at us, and we immediately started looking at our food.

Although, it was hard to miss the bright red on our faces from all our laughing.

The band was definitely back together.
