"Wynry, someone is here to see you ... A certain VERY handsome someone who happens to have a pair of adorable dimples." Willa said as she knocked on her door.

"I don't ... I don't want to see him!" Came Wynry's voice, even though it was slightly muffled through the door, Willa could hear the insincerity in her voice.

"I don't believe that, Wyn, but you owe him an explanation for ghosting him these past few weeks, you really hurt him because he doesn't know WHY. You need to pull up your bootstraps and come and deal with this problem that you've made!"

"I can't! ... You don't understand!" Wynry replied, even through the door, Willa could tell she was crying.

"I WOULD if you would just TALK to me! I'm your alpha, helping my pack mates with their problems is my JOB!" Willa replied.

After a long pause, Wynry reluctantly opened the door, her eyes were red and puffy, and there were dark circles under them.

Fresh tears streamed down her face as she finally caves and told Willa everything that had happened between them on that night three weeks ago.

"So THAT'S why you've been avoiding him! Wyn! HE thinks you don't like him anymore!" Willa said.

"No! That's not it at all! Quite the opposite ... I'm CRAZY about him ... That's kind of the problem." She said as she smiled bashfully.

Willa put an and on her shoulder.

"And anyone can see he's crazy about you, too, I mean ... Look ... He came all the way here just for a chance to talk to you!" Willa said, her face harboring a grin.

"Oh my gosh ... I have handled this SO wrong, haven't I?! He's going to think I'm nuts and he'll never forgive me!" Wynry said as she buried her face in her hands.

"Oh ... Something tells me he will." Willa said as she nudged Wynry's shoulder.

Wynry wiped her eyes and stood.

"Okay... Here goes nothing." She said as she followed Willa out to where Bucky still waited, only now he had taken to pacing anxiously back and forth..

He rushed up to her as soon as he caught sight of her.

"Wynry! we were so great together ... or at least I thought we were ..." he trailed off as he ran his hand through his hair.

"What HAPPENED?" He asked, his face pleading

He ran his hands through his hair again, he felt so insecure, so vulnerable... two MORE feelings that he wasn't accustomed to.

Ugh ... love was both wonderful, and awful at the same time.

She took hold of his hands and he felt himself instantly calmed

"Bucky, I'm so sorry! I know I made a huge mess of this, but you have to understand, I was trying to protect you. " she said.

"Protect me from WHAT, though?" He said, his eyes searching her face for answers.

"Me." She said as fresh tears welled up in those beautiful eyes of hers.

"You? I ... I don't understand..." he said

"That night at your house, I almost lost control, I could've bitten you or worse, I could've killed you! And I didn't want to risk that happening again... so I stayed away from you. " she said

"What if I AM willing to risk it?" He said suddenly

"What...?" She sputtered, not sure if she was hearing him correctly

"What if I am willing to risk it?" He repeated, his eyes never leaving hers.

"H ... how can you say that?!" She replied

"Because... these three weeks without you have been the most miserable three weeks of my life." He said as he slowly and tentatively closed the distance between them, as if he were afraid she would reject him.

She offered a small smile

"They've been pretty miserable for me, too."

He smiled at her

"We'll make this work, we'll figure it out, don't worry. " he said as he pulled her into a hug and breathed in that unique, woodsy scent of hers that he had missed so much.

Then, throwing caution completely to the wind, he kissed her.

"I've missed you. " she whispered into his ear

He cupped her face in his hands so that he could look into those brilliant green eyes of hers.

"Don't EVER ghost me again, got it?" He said

She grinned

"Got it."

"I'm so glad you two worked it out." Addison said to Bucky as they sat on the patio and watched Zed play with Zach in the backyard.

"If someone had told me a year ago that this would happen to me ... ME of all people, and with a werewolf no less, I probably would've laughed at them and called them crazy. " he said

"If what would've happened to you, exactly?" Addison quipped as she gently rocked baby Angelina in her arms

A blush dusted his cheeks as he grinned at her.

"Falling in love. " he replied.

Addison stilled as she looked at him.

"I'm sorry, what?" She said, unsure if she had heard him correctly.

Did her cousin, the great Bucky Buchanan just say what she thought he said?

"I ... I think I'm Falling in love with her." He repeated.

"Don't look so surprised. " he said flatly when he was met with more silence

She giggled "I'm sorry cuz, I'm not making fun of you its just... thats not something I ever thought it hear you say." She admitted

He chuckled "You and me both. "

"Hey I happen to think it's great! Wynry's awesome, just don't mess it up." Zed said as he and Zach flopped into the chair next to Addison

"Hey ...! How did you hear ..." Bucky began

"From all the way over there? Zombie, remember? We got like ... crazy good hearing. One of the many things thst makes being a zombie awesome. " he said as he flashed Bucky a cocky grin.

"Your wolf girl probably has me beat, though. " he added

"Don't call her that." Bucky scolded Zed as he shot him a dirty look.

"Awww look! He's already getting protective of her!" Zed teased as Zach sat on his knee, tossing the football repeatedly into the air in a perfect sprial.

Yep, the kid was going to be a football star for sure, Zed had been right. Bucky found himself thinking.

Of course, he never would openly admit that to Zed, he might have changed a lot, but he still had SOME pride.

"Well, it's been fun, Baby cuz, but I need to get going. " bucky said as he looked at his watch

Addison smiled at him

"You're seeing her tonight, aren't you?"

He blushed

"Yeah ... we're going to a movie. " he replied

Addison stood and pulled him into a hug

"Well, I couldn't be happier for you guys!" She said

"Me too man, all joking aside, I'm really do think it's great." Zed added.

Bucky smiled at him.

"Thanks, Zed, and I don't think I've ever said it ... But ... I'm sorry. For the way I treated you in the past, and for keeping you and Addison apart ... For all of it."

Zed grinned "No worries, man. Now go have fun with your girl."

Bucky returned Zed's grin with one of his own as he let himself out.
