AN: One more question today!
jikker jack: I can do you one better, due to piezoelectricity, some crystals, most notably quartz, can actually generate their own electricity by being compressed and decompressed rapidly, so by that, Izuku could just make electricity at the expense of tiring himself out, hypothetically.
Izuku quickly snapped the falling finger piece up with his right hand, not wanting to lose momentum now that he'd started showing his hand to the villains. He pressed the flat end of the piece into the slot Momo had left him, and enforced his will upon the chunk of jade.
Unlike normal, when he did so to pull his pieces back together, he instead pushed the cells to spread, as quickly as possible. He felt a drain on his stamina as the jade shifted into the sword, the blade lengthening as a green lightning inset ran up to the tip of the sword, until the blade had become a long, thin sword that started bending at his will, like a whip.
Izuku swung outwards with the sword, and as if it had a mind of its own, the tip quickly wrapped around one of the villain's ankles, knocking them down and swinging them into the group they were standing in.
"Yeah, this'll work just fine," Izuku grinned, seeing how well his new weapon worked, "Momo, Mashirao, we only have to hold out for a couple more minutes, Thirteen was saying that All Might was only a few minutes late!"
The two turned over their shoulders to nod at him, clearly relieved to hear that the Number One Hero would be there soon to save them. But as the minutes passed while they defended themselves, first five, then ten more, they realized that help wasn't coming any time soon.
As Izuku knocked out one of the last of the conscious villains, Momo and Mashirao each taking care of another, he called out to them.
"We should try to get back towards the plaza, if we can make it out the front door we can go get help!"
"Isn't that where the leader of these guys is? Is it really a good idea to go right to him?" Mashirao voiced his concerns, which Momo agreed with.
"As long as we don't cause a ruckus, he'll probably still be busy with Aizawa and Thirteen. We have to try!" Determination steeled, the three students set forth to head back to where they had first been split up.
What they found, however, wasn't exactly encouraging. Aizawa was being pummeled into the ground by a hulking beast of pure muscle, with a growing pool of blood beneath him. He wasn't moving. Thirteen was nowhere to be seen, although they could just barely see a few of their classmates fighting Kurogiri, maybe they had escaped the teleport?
Izuku signaled to the two that he'd go first, and started carefully sneaking towards the front, where he could see that they had Kurogiri pinned down, for the moment. As he tried to make his way over, however, he was noticed by the man with the hands, who started yelling about how no one escapes the battle as he ran towards Izuku, deceptively fast for how gaunt he looked.
Izuku swung out with his sword, and... the man reached out to grab the approaching blade? Seemingly sensing danger, the blade whipped around his hand, slicing into the back of it with the sharp side of the single-edged blade.
"What?! Someone of your level shouldn't be able to damage me! You'll pay for that!" he yelled, clutching his sliced hand with the other, although it seemed like he kept his pinky from touching it for some reason.
At that moment Izuku realized that this man was coming at him with full intent to kill him, and likely had the ability to as well, so he did what most people would do. He flinched. It was only momentary, but it was far too much time to afford the villain who was approaching.
"A crystal enemy, huh? Lucky me, these ones always have a core, right around... here!" And then the man pushed his whole hand flat against Izuku's chest, and he knew pain for the first time in years.
The man's fingers dug into him, Izuku's chest disintegrating at their touch, carving a hole full of crystal dust into his abdomen until the villain was satisfied.
His sword clattered to the ground as Izuku faltered, taking a step back as one hand raised up to clutch the new hole in his chest. The hand man simply cackled at the sight.
"How's that for taking out a hero!? It was almost too eas-" and then he started choking, as Izuku hand claimed a fistful of the dust from his chest and cast it directly into the man's face.
"Have fun with breathing that in, hope my crystals are toxic!" Izuku yelled as he ran out of range of the disintegration villain, towards the exit once more.
"You... brat!" the villain yelled, before calling out an order, "Nomu, get him."
All Might, having been told by Young Iida that there was an attack on the USJ, which he had only narrowly escaped from to get help, sprinted at his maximum speed towards the building. He had already used all of his time for the day, and was ready to cough up blood at any moment, but this wasn't the time for weakness. His students needed him, and he wasn't there.
All Might busted down the door to USJ and started to call out "I AM HERE!" in hopes of calming any of the students who could hear that he had arrived, only for the words to die in his throat.
All Might, the Number One Hero, had no time to do anything but watch as Young Midoriya, who already had a considerable hole in his chest, was gripped by the head by a hulking creature.
"CRACK!"
Midoriya's body collapsed to the floor, his head falling in shattered pieces along with it. He was too late.
