The ride did not take long as they were within a walking distance of the clinic and home in the first place. Throughout the whole trip, Toshinori was well aware of two things - the woman clinging to him in what could only be described as a silent mental breakdown and the glances he kept getting from the driver every time they stopped at a crossing or a red light. Neither was making him any more comfortable than he already was but it could be worse. The driver could have been judgmental and Mori-san could have been hysterical, not that he could ever imagine her being so. As much as he knew the younger woman, this was how he would have imagined it if he ever thought about her breaking down. Silent sobbing, shaking, completely lost to the world around her and holding onto something familiar like it was her life line. He could easily see her wishing to hide from the world. The one thing that surprised him was, she was holding onto him. She wanted, no, more like needed his help and since he was already there with her, there was no way he was going to leave until he made sure she was alright or got her the help he cannot provide.

Inside the living area, there was a repeat from Christmas, a broken woman who lost her connection to reality and a sickly man trying his best to make her more comfortable while navigating her home in search of tea, blankets, pillows and other things that would make her more comfortable. Knowing how many women complain about wearing heels for long periods of time, he took her shoes off and later undid her braid. He has seen her enough times to know that at her own home, she wore it loose. Slowly, her mind was resurfacing back up. She drank her tea that already became cold without saying a word. Toshinori didn't know much of what to do beyond being close to support her. As she was crying he kept her close and followed behind her as she stood up to wash her face. He saw her taking some pills after that but knew better than to ask her about it.

It was late evening by the time she came fully back to reality and calmed down. In order to let Mori rest, Toshinori ordered some food to be delivered. Dinner was pleasant in comparison to the way most of the day was spent. They had a chat about all sorts of things and both avoided the topic of the day's events. At the end of it, when he was thinking it was time for him to leave, she decided to bring it up. She wanted to know how come he didn't ask her about the man from earlier and what followed. The answer was simple, sure, he was curious but it was not his place to pry into it, and if she wanted to tell him any of it, he would let her do it when she felt comfortable enough to do so. It made her smile but he wasn't sure he liked how she did it. Her smile was honest and thankful but her eyes held sadness. Once again she looked like her eyes saw things that were far away from them in both time and space. Memories that haunt her and events that caused her nothing but grief. Not even once did he see her remembering things in a nostalgic way.

He wanted to say his goodbye but was met with an unexpected request. He was asked to stay the night. She was thankful for his help, support and understanding and wanted him to stay around for longer. She admitted that she was scared that she might have another meltdown and hopes he can help keep her mind away from it. Toshinori had no problem with that, sure it was a little awkward but he really didn't want to leave her alone. She was alright for now but what if it's due to the help of the pills and the effect wears off? What if that guy from earlier somehow finds her and comes here? She said she would call the police but what if he didn't take her word for it?

Toshinori's response was short and simple. He will stay and she has nothing to worry about.

"Why? Because I am here." No booming voice was used or needed. Mori was wide eyes like a deer caught in the headlights. There was immediate regret for the choice of words but she shook her head and then snickered at him. In this gesture, there was something sinister.

"Yagi-san, you have no idea but long ago, I desperately needed to hear those words." Her voice was calm but he was able to notice the well hidden bitterness. He now knew. Long ago, All Might failed her. He failed her.

The night passed quietly and there were no issues at all, not without the helping of a second dose of highly limited prescription drugs. Yui made sure to thank Yagi-san properly for staying and promised to see him later that day to make up for the day before. He made her promise that if something happened, that she would contact him, or anybody else for help right away. The stern look he gave her tickled something in the back of her mind. It almost reminded her of something but she was not sure what exactly. When it was time for the clinic to open, Yagi left. He still looked concerned. Surprisingly, this gave him a slightly eerie look, when taking the brilliant blue, almost ghostly, sunken eyes and the way too thin face made entirely of sharp features, into account. To Yui, it felt oddly familiar yet, she was unable to put her finger on it.

With the chemicals circling in her blood, Yui spent her working day in relative peace. Thoughts of the past would come and go, souring her mood but the artificial binds did not allow her mind to break, holding it together with shackles of numbness. As things quieted down and the planned visits were over, it was time to think. There was a place where she needed to go. A place that she was unwilling to see alone and yet knew she had to face it. After some thinking, an idea came up. Why not ask Yagi-san to come with her? He agreed to stay the night to watch over her, he might agree to accompany her and it will make things easier. Then, she might have a simpler way to explain, or have not the need to do it at all. Some things She should not talk about. Something she must not talk about. Yet hints were not officially unallowed.

Yui knew that this situation was going to bring up lots of questions. Those she was not going to answer even if asked. Then again, Yagi-san was All Might's personal assistant and probably was able to learn whatever he wanted about her anyway. Not to mention other things. A phone call was made and the time was set to the following week. When he arrived, she was ready, standing by her bike and holding a small bouquet of daffodils and dark collared poppies. The ride was long and required a few stops to get refreshed. She warned Yagi about it ahead of time but he seemed to be willing to come nonetheless. Finally, they arrived.

Mori-san never explained what place it was that she needed his presence, just in case, as she said. Her tone implied it was important and possibly highly personal. All questions were crushing on a brick wall. All beyond one - it was related to her past and she needed someone there to help her face it. She never admitted to it this way but Toshinori had more than enough experience with all sorts of people to be able to understand so even from the minimal amount of information she was willing to share. He never expected to see her holding flowers when he met her. During the stops they made, he took his time to research the flowers she had with her. He probably shouldn't. Those spoke about regrets and the loss of loved ones. They were meant as a goodbye, possibly a final one. He remembered how she said that somebody close died when she was young and so, he had a feeling this was going to be this kind of a visit.

His assumptions were correct. Many hours later, they reached a grave yard in a small town. Mori took a long time to decide to enter. In his honest opinion, she looked like she wanted to run away, fast and far and never return to this place. Something was holding her back, frozen in place. A small pat on the back, and the time was moving again. With her eyes closed, she stepped beyond the gate separating the domains of the living and the dead. They walked in silence until she stopped in front of one of the stones. It was covered heavily in dust, dried leaves and sand. The name and dates were unreadable and there was not the slightest hint of this specific grave ever being tended to. He bent to wipe it but was stopped by the doctor. She shook her head, asked him to leave it all to her, she was not yet ready.

Then, she started singing.

~Another time has passed~

~One more story over~

~Take in lots of air~
~You'll need it tomorrow~

~It's not so bad ever when~
~It all ends in bitterness~

~Love is like the waves~
~They come and go, repeats~

~It's better to forgive~
~Give up on the pain away~
~It devours your mind~
~And eats your at heart~

~Not letting the next wave to come~
~Engulf and embrace you~
~You're not letting it~

~Whether you want it or not~
~It won't ever help you~
~Enough with all those tears~
~They drain your strength away~

~They forgot you long ago~
~You're unable to do so~
~It haunts you~
~This way cannot be happy~

~It's better to forgive~

~Because your heart has its limits~

~It is crying for a break~
~how much can it endure?~

~What about a bit of joy?~

~Anything that makes you well~

~Giving you your power back~
~Take as much as you need in order to forgive~

~It's better to forgive~
~Give up on the pain away~
~It devours your mind~
~And eats your at heart~

~Not letting the next wave to come~
~Engulf and embrace you~
~You're not letting it~

While she was singing Toshi listened. She poured into it more that he thought she could. The pain, the bitterness, the frustration, the cry for help. He was sure she sang about her family and the way things broke apart. About the person she lost and the attempt to cope, which didn't seem to go all that well. She was pushing all of those things far into the darkest corners of her mind and locking it away behind a heavy door. But… When she put the flowers down and took out a handkerchief to wipe the dirt away, he learned he was wrong.
