Walter woke up as his watch vibrated to wake up. He slipped out of bed carefully. He walked into the bathroom and a few moments later came out and put on his robe. He grabbed some clothes from the closet and grabbed his shoes. He placed a note he wrote last night on his pillow for Paige to find when she woke up and he slipped out of their bedroom.

Once in the front room he slipped his pants on under his robe and took the robe off. He put on his shirt before putting on his socks and shoes. He hung his robe up in the front room closet before he descended to the Garage floor. He grabbed his laptop and walked to the front door. He looked up to the loft and smiled. "I love you Paige."

Walter punched in his security code into the alarm and then left the Garage. Cabe pulled up a few minutes later and Walter quickly got into his SUV. Cabe smiled. "I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I'm really happy for you."

Walter smiled. "Thanks Cabe, that means a lot."

Paige could smell food cooking. She smiled as she recognized bacon. Her eyes slowly opened and not seeing Walter she assumed he was cooking. As she started to roll onto her back she noticed a piece of paper on his pillow and she frowned. She grabbed it and pulled it over and after rubbing her eyes a few times she finally was able to focus.

"Paige. Good morning to you my love. Cabe called early. Homeland has a computer virus problem and I had to leave to try and fix it. It may take several hours to fix it from the sounds of it. I should be done before the cook out though. I hope you aren't mad I let you sleep. I'll see you soon. I love you. Walter."

Paige sighed. "Just wonderful," Paige sarcastically replied to no one. Paige rolled over and slowly climbed out of bed.

She made her way over to the bathroom and took a shower. After getting dressed she walked out and found Louise finishing up making biscuits and bacon. Paige smiled. "Good morning Louise."

Louise turned and smiled. "Good morning Paige." She hurried over and gave her a hug. "You seem a little upset dear."

Paige nodded as she walked into the kitchen with Louise and took a seat. "Walter had to leave early to take care of a computer problem for Homeland. It never seems to fail as something good comes along something bad happens to darken it a bit."

Louise smiled. "Well since Walter and Ralph are both gone maybe we could go looking at dresses today instead of tomorrow."

Paige smiled. "That's not a bad idea. I'll call Allie after breakfast and see if she'd like to take us today instead of tomorrow if she has time. Of course what do we do with Sean while we're gone?"

Louise laughed. "Maybe he can hang out with Cabe until this evening?"

"Yea, I understand Allie. What? No, no, it's okay. Oh he is at Homeland too? Okay, we'll see you then." Paige sighed as she hung up.

"Allie is busy?" Louise asked.

Paige nodded. "She's over at her sister's house. But she'll pick us up this evening as Cabe is with Walter at Homeland."

Amanda finally got to Cabe's and Walter was looking at the dress she had made for Paige. Walter smiled as he looked up at her. "Amanda, it's perfect. Thank you."

Amanda laughed. "Let's wait and see how Paige reacts before we say it's perfect."

Walter grinned. "Trust me she's going to love it."

They hung it up in Cabe's bedroom which was closest to the backdoor that Allie would lead Paige through when they got there.

Cabe had run out and picked up Ray first and then met Veronica at a motel outside of the city limits and brought them both back to his house.

Rusty was loading the grill with a fresh tank of gas so they wouldn't run out to cook with. Happy pulled up with Toby while Florence and Sylvester were in the car behind them. Paige's best friends were parked out in front of Cabe's house so Paige wouldn't see their car.

The inside of the house looked remarkable. Allie, Cabe and Ralph had done an outstanding job decorating it. As time passed Walter became more and more nervous. He began questioning his decision to hide all of this from Paige. He should have just told Paige and then he could have stayed with her and he'd been calmer.

Toby saw Allie's car pull up so he finally grabbed Walter's arm and dragged him upstairs and pushed him into the bathroom to get a shower.

Paige stopped and introduced Rusty, Simone and Nick to Walter's parents before Allie led her on into the house. She stopped at Cabe's bedroom door. She smiled at Paige and pointed inside. Paige frowned but stepped inside and Allie stepped in behind her closing the door.

Amanda smiled at Paige. "How are you feeling Paige?"

Paige smiled and looked from Amanda to Allie and looked confused. "Good, what's going on?"

Amanda turned and opened the closet door and pulled the wedding dress out and Paige stared at it. "Oh, Amanda, it looks beautiful. Wait, is it for me?"

Allie and Amanda both laughed and nodded. Amanda looked at her, "Before you say it is beautiful wait until you try it on. I tried to tell Walter I wasn't sure about this style for you."

"Why don't you let us help you try it on, so Amanda can make sure it fits right? Then you can freshen up in the bathroom if you want while Amanda makes any adjustments so you can wear it." Allie told her.

Paige looked at her, "What do you mean?"

Allie smiled. "This isn't just a cook out Paige. Walter planned this for your wedding. He wanted you to have a bit more ceremony."

Tears welled up in her eyes as Paige slowly began unbuttoning her blouse.

Allie and Amanda held the dress up and Paige lifted her arms and they pulled it down and then zipped it up in back.

Paige looked in the mirror, "Oh Amanda. It is perfect, even the fit."

Amanda smiled. "Well I am glad. I really didn't think Walter knew what he was thinking with a mini dress for you being pregnant."

Paige smiled. "Walter loves my legs. I might have chosen a bit longer but if this is what he wants me to wear I'm only too happy to oblige him."

Amanda pointed to the back of the room. "Walk back and forth a couple of times so I can make sure."

Paige walked back and forth and Amanda smiled. "Walter nailed your measurements perfectly. I was worried trying to go off of his estimations the last couple of weeks."

Paige smiled as they helped her out of the dress. Paige went into the adjoining bathroom and began freshening up and touched up her makeup.

Allie stepped out and into the front room to get Veronica when she saw Katherine Cooper. She walked over and they hugged before she brought Veronica back to the bedroom. Paige nearly squealed when she saw her Mom as she came out of the bathroom. The noise was loud enough that Toby and Walter heard it upstairs.

Toby laughed. "I would say that is our cue to go downstairs Boss."

Walter nodded and they walked down to the front room. Louise and Sean greeted Walter first and congratulated him on a fine surprise for Paige. "Dad, Paige and I had discussed it the other day. And while Ralph is giving her away and with Cabe as my best man she was hoping you would walk her down the aisle so to speak."

Sean looked surprised but nodded. "It would be my pleasure." Cabe lead Sean back to the bedroom door and then walked back to the front room. He stepped up next to Walter and they both watched the hallway. Walter had asked both of Paige's friends to be her bridesmaids and they stood on the other side of the makeshift alter. Happy sat on the other side of the front room looking down the hallway.

As the door opened Allie stepped out with Amanda and they both quickly walked down and into the front room followed by Veronica. Paige stepped out and smiled at Sean and he kissed her cheek as Ralph handed her the blue carnations he made her. Ralph reached up and attached the broach Happy wore on her wedding day as the something borrowed.

Sean reached out his hand and he showed her an old sapphire ring in his hand. "This was my Grandmother's. I'd planned to give it my daughter on her wedding day. Little did I know it would be for your wedding."

Paige wiped the tears back and she reached out and kissed his cheek as he slipped it on her right ring finger. "Thank you Dad."

Sean smiled with a tear in his eye and he held out his arm and Paige slipped her hand around it. Paige blew out her breath trying to keep from crying and Happy pressed a button on her phone and they all heard the Bridal Chorus start playing. Paige smiled and with Sean began walking down the hallway.

As Paige turned the corner she saw Ray as the officiant. She saw her two best friends as her bridesmaids and she saw Walter standing there grinning in his tuxedo.

Paige stepped up and handed her flowers to her friends as Sean shook Walter's hand. Paige turned and looked at Walter. "I can't believe you did this Walter, thank you."

Walter smiled. "I love you."

Paige and Walter joined hands, "Family, before we begin, who gives this woman?" Ray asked.

As Walter discussed with Ralph earlier Ralph stood up, "I do."

Ray looked at Paige and Walter, "Would you like to declare your love before your family?"

"Paige, I've thought of this moment for so long. I wasn't sure we'd make it before I woke up in the hospital. But after that it seemed like this day was rushing towards us faster and faster but never fast enough for me. You have connected me to everything around me, you complete me and I promise to always do my best for you and our family and to lean on you in all things."

"Walter, I've loved you for almost as long as I've known you, I've seen you at your most vulnerable and at your most heroic and I know as long as we're honest with each other and communicate, there is nothing we can't overcome." Paige said.

Ray smiled, "Polly."

"Paige!" Everyone shouted at once.

Ray nodded, "Paige, do you take Walter to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and hold, in sickness and health, for better or worse forsaking all others until death do you part?"

Paige looked deep into Walter's eyes, "I do."

Ray looked at her, "Really?"

Everyone laughed.

Ray smiled and continued. "Brosef, do you take Paige to be your delectable and lawfully wedded wife? To have and hold, in sickness and health, for better or worse forsaking all others until death do you part?"

With all his love clearly in his eyes, "I do." Walter replied looking deeply into her eyes.

Ray looked out over the small gathering, "If there is anyone here who can show just cause why these two should not be joined in Holy Matrimony, let them speak now or forever hold their peace."

After a couple of beats, "Rings," Ray asked. Walter held up both sets. "The rings are formed as a circle as a family circles each other." Ray nodded and Paige took the larger ring and slid it onto Walter's finger. "Repeat after me, with this ring I thee wed."

"With this ring I thee wed." Paige repeated nervously.

"Brosef, repeat after me, with this ring I thee wed." Ray told Walter.

"With this ring I thee wed." Walter hoarsely said.

Ray smiled, "Then, by the power vested in me by the computer at the local library and the state of California, I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss your spouse." Ray finished.

Walter and Paige nearly attacked each other as they kissed and everyone whooped and hollered as they kissed.

Allie looked at Amanda, "Damn it. Walter was right, she does have beautiful legs. That dress is perfect for her."

Amanda smiled and nodded.

Rusty stepped outside to get the grill going while Simone checked on the food with Cabe.

Happy hugged Paige. "Just remember you are only borrowing my broach."

Paige smiled. "No problem, it is so ugly."

Happy and Paige broke up laughing.

Cabe had hired a photographer to record the ceremony as well as take pictures of everyone. She'd been a little bossy but finally settled down after Happy had a little discussion with her.

They all took a few moments to get some extra photos before the photographer left.

Katherine Cooper presented them with a confirmation code for the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills hotel's penthouse for three days and four nights. "Homeland has benefited from your actions so much. This is just a small token of our appreciation."

Veronica handed them a small fanny pack. She looked at them and looked around. "Just remember this is clean but still it never does well to flash around a lot of cash."

Paige shook her head as she kissed her Mother's cheek. Veronica smiled and kissed Walter's cheek. "Take care of my babies Walter."

Walter nodded. "With my life if I have too."

Everyone had some nice gifts for them. Toby was quick to point out that the gift Happy and he had for them was not intended for office use.

Walter sighed remembering his gift for them.

After they had ate Cabe drove Walter and Paige to the Waldorf while taking Veronica with them to drop her back at the motel so she could disappear yet again.

Happy and Toby took Ray back to his place.

Walter and Paige only had the one set of clothes besides her wedding dress and his tuxedo. Walter offered to carry her across the threshold but Paige passed. She didn't want to take a chance and Walter hurt himself. The penthouse was breathtaking. Katherine had agents stock up the fridge with snack type food since room service was included with the package.

Allie drove Sean, Louise and Ralph back to the Garage before taking her sister home.

Happy and the gang came over the next morning to make sure there was nothing Sean and Louise needed.

Cabe came over Monday morning and took Ralph to school and then returned and took Louise and Sean to the mall so they could do a little shopping.

Greetings! Hoping this finds you all doing well! I borrowed and tweaked some of the dialogue from the wedding in my story 'Oh What a Tangle Web We Weave'.

I wasn't sure I'd have this one done today as the next chapter of Lady Knight was screaming so loudly at me that I wrote most of it before starting this chapter.
