Crash Bandicoot: Masters of Mojo

Crash Bandicoot: Masters of Mojo follows the adventures of Mojo Master Crash Bandicoot, his mentor; the Mojo Master Aku Aku and his brainiac sister Coco Bandicoot, on their quest to protect the Sanity Archipelago from Neo Cortex and various other villains. "Note: My Grammar and Writing is not the best, I'm only doing this out of boredom, hope you enjoy."

23. Mafioso Cafora

Part 1: Neo Cortex Saga - The Cortex Commandos Arc Ch. 15 Mafioso Cafora

Team Bandicoot continue on their quest after defeating Pinstripe's two Mafioso; with only one left everything is going in Team Bandicoot's favor. Their next destination was the third and last power generator; north of Factory Island and just across the polluted river where Pinstripe's base is. Crash wonders to himself if the Last Mafioso will have an ace up his sleeve like Capone had with the Enhanced Mutants; or will it be a walk in the park. As they approach the Northern Power Generator, they see several members of the Potoroo Mafia sleeping in a sitting position next to the gate of the building. Coco tells Crash that this is the perfect opportunity to deactivate the last Power Generator without being spotted. They enter the building; as they are entering it, they are attacked by Mechanical Guard Dogs. Crash easily takes care of them and they carry on. Coco looks to Crash and wonders if their "Not Being Spotted" Plan has been ruined with the Guard Dogs' interference. Crash smirks and tells Coco that it was never set in stone that they weren't going to be spotted; so they continue until they reach a mechanical door leading into a darkened large empty space. Crash figures out that it is undoubtedly a trap; telling Coco to stand behind him. Not long after entering the room, the lights turn on and the last Mafioso; Capone introduces himself. Crash tells him to bring it on, but Capone smiles and tells the duo that he has no intention of fighting him; due to him being pissed off at Pinstripe for calling him a disappointment. Coco suspicious, asks for the catch. Capone sits down and tells them that he will let them freely deactivate the Power Generator; in return he wants the duo to defeat Pinstripe so he doesn't get killed for his betrayal.

Crash asks Cafora why he wants to betray Pinstripe; there must be something more than just being called a disappointment that would make him act like this. Cafora explains to Crash and Coco that he was a failure from the day he was mutated alongside Galante and Capone in N. Brio's Lab. Cafora tells them that he isn't strong or smart as the other two "successful" mutants; he isn't a good leader and or strategist to pull off ingenious ways to stop Team Bandicoot. That's why he wants to leave the Potoroo Mafia and to be freed from his boss' shackles. After hearing this Crash tells Cafora that he has a deal and that he can't thank him enough for being reasonable. After Crash and Coco's exchange with Cafora, they enter the Power Generator room and deactivate the last Power Generator. The duo say their goodbyes to Cafora and proceed on to Pinstripe's Base; to finally face-off with the boss himself.
