CHAPTER 19: A FAMILY EMERGENCY
The next day when Michelle was out shopping with her girlfriend Christie and their friend the female coplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist when the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist said to Christie "can i talk to you for a sec?" and Christie smiled at the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist as she replied "sure what's up?"
And the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist said to Christie "well, last night after you went to bed Christie Michelle said to me that she loved me and that she wanted to make out with me and i told her that she doesn't love me and that she loves you deep in her heart and it wouldn't be right if we made out with each other and now i can see why Michelle wants to try and stay sober" and Christie gave the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist a hug as she replied "thank you for telling me, and...this isn't the first time this has happened because before we moved to Japan together we were working in WWE and when we got separated in the superstar shake up it crushed Michelle and she turned to alcohol to help her cope without me and when she was drunk she tried to kiss our friend Drew Mcintyre"
Meanwhile...
Michelle was leaning against her blue BMW M3 car when she received a text from Ultimo dragon on her smart phone which said "greetings Michelle san, i have arranged for you and your girlfriend to have a meet and greet at the Tokyo network shop to sign autographs and some embassy kingdom merchandise" then as Christie and their friend the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist walked out of the grocery store carrying bags of shopping and Michelle helped them place the bags in the boot of her car before they all climbed inside.
And Michelle turned to her girlfriend and said to her "ok babe, before we head home i just got a text from Ultimo dragon and he arranged for us to do an embassy kingdom meet and greet at the Tokyo network shop" and Christie gave her girlfriend a kiss on her cheek as she replied with a smile on her face "ok baby, let's head over there now as me and the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist have finished the shopping" before Michelle then turned the key in the ignition before she then placed her foot on the accelerator as they drove to the Tokyo network shop for their meet and greet.
At the Tokyo network shop...
When Michelle parked her car outside the Tokyo network shop she saw loads of fans lining up outside before the shop owner said to Michelle and her girlfriend Christie "welcome, you ladies are just in time as we are just about to open the shop for the embassy kingdom meet and greet, come in" so Michelle followed the shop owner inside and they saw a table in the middle of the shop with a few embassy kingdom shirts laid out on it and she also saw some teddy bears wearing embassy kingdom t-shirts with purple and gold Jackets.
And Michelle and her girlfriend sit at the table as the shop owner opens the doors to the shop and says "welcome ladies and gentlemen to the embassy kingdom meet and greet where you will have a chance to have your merchandise signed by members of embassy kingdom in person and we ask that you form a line and that you don't rush or push in front of others thank you!" before some of the fans that were lined up take it in turns walking up to the table and having autographs or teddy bears signed by Michelle and Christie and having pictures with them.
Then as Michelle was signing some merchandise for various fans she saw a little girl with her mother holding a teddy bear version of Michelle and was crying and Michelle looked at the crying girl and came around the table to give her a hug as she said softly to her "aww, konichiwa you don't have to be afraid and i know what it is like to meet your idol in person do you mind if i sign your teddy bear for you?" and the little girl smiled a little as she shook her head before giving her teddy bear to Michelle to sign and Michelle signed it on the Jacket and gave it back to the little girl as she smiled at her and said "there you go, and i even put a special message on the back of the Jacket just for you aren't you lucky"
The mother of the little girl then smiled at Michelle as she said to her "thank you so much, she was really scared of coming up to the table" and Michelle smiled at the mother of the little girl as she replied "it's no problem, my mother used to do this sort of thing when she was wrestling and i know what it is like meeting your idol in person for the first time and trust me even though i have been doing this for almost ten years now i still look up to my parents enjoy the rest of your day" before she went back behind the table to sign more merchandise and take pictures with fans.
Michelle's phone then rang as she said to everyone in the shop "please excuse me for one moment i'll be right back!" before she went out the back of the shop and answered her phone as she said "hello?" and Michelle's mother Becky said on the other end of the phone trying not to cry "hey sweetie, thank goodness ye answered, i-i don't know what to do right now" and Michelle tried to sound calm as she replied to her mum on the phone "mum, slow down what's going on? you sound like you are trying not to cry" then Michelle's mother Becky sniffled a little on the other end of the phone as she replied "i-it's ya father he's been involved in a accident and the doctors aren't sure if he will make it or not"
Then Michelle tried not to cry as she replied to her mum "o-okay mum, it sounds like you need me and so i'm gonna catch the next flight over to Tampa to see you" and Michelle's mum Becky tried not to cry on the phone as she replied "n-no it's ok sweetie i don't wanna feel like i'm ruining your good time as ya look like ye are enjoying yourself in Japan with ya girlfriend" and Michelle sniffled a little as she replied to her mum on the phone "n-no it's ok mum you need me and family always stick together that's what you and dad taught me right? So i'm gonna catch the next flight to Tampa now to come and see you and dad" before she hung up the phone and went back inside.
And Michelle quickly picked up her embassy kingdom backpack and her embassy kingdom duffle bag as she said to her fans "umm thank you all for those able to make it to this meet and greet today please be sure to tune in to Dragon gate on the Dragon gate network when i take on Kenta for the GHC heavyweight championship as part of our partnership with Pro Wrestling Noah" before running out of the shop to her blue BMW M3 car and her girlfriend Christie said to the owner of the shop "we're very sorry for cutting this meet and greet shorter than expected" before she ran after her girlfriend.
Christie then got inside her girlfriend's car and gave her a hug as she said to her "everything ok babe? You look like you've been crying" and Michelle turned to face her girlfriend as she sniffled a little and replied "yeah, i'm fine baby it's my dad he's been involved in a accident and the doctor's aren't sure if he will make it and i only know because my mother called me and told me" and Christie gave her girlfriend a good long hug before she said to her "aww, babe why didn't you tell me instead of just running off and you know i would support you so let's go to the airport to take a flight over to see your mother and father because it sounds like your mother needs you and wherever you go babe i will be with you to support you"
Then Michelle smiled and wiped some tears from her face as she replied to her girlfriend "t-thanks baby, you have no idea how much that means to me and i just really hope my dad is gonna be ok" before she turned the key in the ignition and drove to the airport after dropping off their friend the female cosplayer dressed as Shura Kiragure from blue exorcist when Christie gave her a spare set of house keys.
At the Tokyo airport...
When Michelle and her girlfriend arrived at the airport Michelle was shaking and Christie took her girlfriend's hand into her own as she said to her "everything is going to be ok baby, i promise" before they walked inside together holding hands before Michelle took a deep breath and said to the man at the desk "two tickets to Tampa Florida please" and the man smiled at Michelle as he replied "of course, are these single or return flights ma'am?" and Michelle smiled back at the man as she replied "return flights" before she then handed the man hers and her girlfriends passports before the man handed them back to her and said "everything seems to be in order, enjoy your flight ma'am"
When they arrived in Tampa Florida...
After the plane landed in the Florida terminal airport Christie nudged her sleeping girlfriend as she said to her "hey babe, wake up we're here" and Michelle groaned slightly as she stretched and bliked her eyes a couple of times before she got off the plane with her girlfriend and got inside the rental car she hired as she said to the driver "to Tampa bay hospital please" and the driver nodded his head as he pulled away from the airport and drove towards the Tampa bay hospital.
At the Tampa bay hospital...
When Michelle and her girlfriend arrived at the Tampa bay hospital they got their things from the boot of the rental car and went inside before Michelle said to the lady at the desk "hi i'm Michelle Kyoshi Cass, i'm here to see Jacob Cass i'm a family member" and the lady smiled at Michelle as she replied "certainly, Jacob's room is down the hall to the left" and Michelle smiled as she replied to the lady at the desk "great, thank you" before making her way down the hall with her girlfriend Christie and entered her dad's room.
Inside Jacob's room in the hospital...
Michelle stepped into her dad's room in the hospital and ran over to her mum Becky and gave her a hug with tears streaming down her face as she said to her "i got here as soon as i could mum and my girlfriend Christie is here with me how's dad have the doctor's said anything yet?" and Michelle's mum Becky returns the hug to her daughter with tears streaming down her face as she replied "thank ya for coming on short notice sweetie how was ya flight? And the doctors said ya father has a broken left arm and a few broken ribs but other than that he is stable and they are gonna keep him here overnight for a few days"
Then Christie hemme said to Becky with tears in her eyes as she said to her "we got the first flight we could to get here Becky and Michelle bless her cried herself asleep on me on the flight here and we were in the middle of a meet and greet at the Tokyo network shop" then Becky gave Christie a hug as she replied "i'm sorry i cut ya meet and greet short with ya girlfriend Christie but i'm so glad ya came to support ya girlfriend in this tough time"
Michelle then saw her dad laying on the bed with a oxygen mask and she walked a little closer and took a deep breath and was about to speak before she felt her girlfriend Christie's hand in her own and she looked back at her girlfriend as Christie smiled at her as she said to her "i'm here for you babe" then Michelle felt her mother Becky's hand in her other hand as she said to her "when ya ready sweetie"
And Michelle smiled before she looked at her dad on the bed as she said "umm hey dad, i'm sorry about your accident and i hope you're doing okay and i came back from Japan just to see you because you and mum taught me that family stick together and i hope you get better soon" and then Michelle sat down in a chair next to the bed with her mother and leaned her head on her shoulder and held her hand in her own.
Becky then sat next to her daughter as she said to her "it's gonna be ok sweetie, ya father's a tough lad so if anyone can pull through this it'll be him" and a nurse came into the room and said "umm visitor hours are over now but you can stay the night if you wish" and Becky smiled at the nurse as she replied "thanks we will stay here the night as i think it's what me husband would want" and the nurse just nodded before leaving the room and Christie looked over to see her girlfriend was fast asleep on her mother and said to Becky "i think we should be a little quiet now Becky as my girlfriend bless her is fast asleep on you"
