Hey guys! Thanks for the reviews and I'll try to keep them in mind!
Thalia's POV: Well, I finally had a boyfriend, and a feeling of satisfaction remained in me since I kissed him. I woke up, tired as fu- I mean frick. I had spent most of last night playing board games with the others. I had absolutely crushed at Sorry. I groggily made way to the beautiful view of the beach, from the open window in our suite.
"Hey Thalia!" Annabeth cheerfully greeted me. She was in our little kitchen, attempting to cook her crabs. She was stuffing them into a pot of boiling water, and closed the lid when she put the last one. "Cook for about three minutes per pound." She muttered, reading from her cookbook. I went to the kitchen area and turned on the coffe machine. I waited for the thing to stop and took a sip. Instant satisfaction! This Costa Rican coffe was the best! Full of new energy, I ran out the door and sprinted to the boy's room. Everyone was already there.
"Hey Thals, we were just debating on leaving or staying." Percy filled me in. "But if we go we can see more beaches, climates, and hotels here! I'm not saying we should leave Costa Rica, but we should travel more places!"
"But the parties here are awesome!" Leo argued.
"Maybe we should stay tonight, and then tomorrow we can see a volcano or something." Jason said. Percy and Leo looked at each other and shrugged.
"It's not a bad idea." Percy said.
"It could work." Leo added. We all agreed on Jason's plan, and suddenly Annabeth burst in.
w
"CRABALMOSTREADY, COMETOOURROOM!" She quickly yelled, then she ran even faster than me to our room.
"Let's go!" Percy said, and everyone followed him to the girls room. We entered, finding ourselves in a fine dining room. She had cleared the table, put a fancy cloth on it, and put fine Costa Rican china over the cloth. There was calamari as an appetizer, along with assorted tropical fish, and a huge empty plate in the middle.
"It's almost done!" Annabeth said, still steaming the crabs. She poured the boiling water in the sink, and put the crabs in the middle. "Ok, I already made a sacrifice to the gods, it was the best crab, so dig in!" We all took a seat and started piling food on our plates. I took a hammer and started smashing some crab. Wait, that sounds kinda wrong. Whatever. I noticed Annabeth was not taking a seat, but questioning people about the food quality with a clipboard and a pen.
"Thanks Annabeth! Best seafood I've tasted!" I told her encouragingly. She jotted down something on her notepad, and muttered "never had seafood."
"Hey! I've had salmon from the Atlantic before!" I replied. She ignored me, and moved on to Piper, who convinced her that there was no need to take any more opinions.
"Who's up for a squirt war?" Leo said. He grabbed his water bazooka and headed out the door. Everyone followed, despite the fact that we just ate a full course meal. What could go wrong?
Ten minutes later...
Wow. That was the stupidest thing I'd ever done, and I'd done some pretty stupid things. I groaned, soaking, and came into my suite. I had a stomachache, and water in my ears. We all had forgotten that Percy was the son of Poseidon when we decided on a free for all. Percy got everyone wet (with the exception of Annabeth.) I got in one of the bathrooms, and turned the faucet on. Ahhhh, that felt much better. I lied down in the bath, and relaxed for five minutes. I got out, and went to see what Nico was up to.
"Hey Thalia." He greeted me. He was sitting on a couch, reading his book about boogeymen, and comparing himself to the cover. "How's life?" I told him about my mixed emotions on visiting the rainforest, because those always had zip lines, and I was terrified of heights. He told me about going to the beach, and how water wasn't his thing. He wanted to go and see a nice view of the rainforest. We then started to watch Wall-e and the others joined us. I longed for tomorrow, as I dozed off during the first twenty minutes. Wall-e was a boring movie after all.
Sorry! I was a little late on the update today, we're preparing for the new baby. Review!
