Chapter 21

Training and the Chunin Exams

It had been a week since the return trip from Uzu. Naruto sat in her room looking at the scrolls the little troll's men had found and the ones she had founds as well. 'There is so much here about the Moon Kingdom and about our Lunar bloodline. But what I don't understand is how Uzu fell like she did.' She thought to herself as she let out another sigh looking out of her bedroom window.

"There isn't much I can do here. I best just head out and train and the fight with that asshole proved to me. That I am still to weak in Sailor Lunar's from." Said Naruto as she stood up and walked out of her bedroom. The house was quiet. More so than normal. Must be that everyone is busy with their own thing.

With Shikamaru

Sitting in a tree in his family forest he lets out another sigh looking down at the deer that his family cares for.

"Son is something troubling?" Came a deeper male voice from behind the boy.

Shikamaru looks over his shoulder to see his father holding a baby deer in his arms. "Yeah dad. A lot of crazy things happen on my mission." He told his father.

"Why don't you come down here and we can chat." Said Shikaku as he lets go of the baby deer as it runs off to its mother.

With a nod of his head he jumps down.

Hokage's office

"So who here believes their teams are ready for this years Chunin Exams?" Questions the 5th Hokage looking at all her Jonin senseis.

Jiraiya stepped forth. "I nominate my team for the Chunin Exams." He said with a cocky smile on his face.

Kurenai stepped forth with a smile on her face. "I Kurenai Yuhi sensei of Team 5, nominate my team for the Chunin Exam." She told the Hokage.

Kushina nodded her head looking over at Asuma who looked to be mulling something over.

"I Asuma Sarutobi Nominate Team 6 for the Chunin Exams." Said Asuma with a sigh. As he looks over at the other two sensei of the other two rookie times.

Zabuza stood behind the Hokage as he watched and studied the Jonins in the office. He narrowed his eyes on one lone Jonin that had a sickly odd aura coming off of him as well he had an awful smell coming from him. 'His cold black eyes looks at the man with white hair and sickly green eyes. I need to watch him.' He thought to himself.

Team 4 private Training Ground

Naruto sat in the center of the training ground with her eyes closed.

'Brat. We need to be ready. If that bastard was on the Whirlpool Island. Than the other three will appearing here soon.' Said Kurama.

'I know. That is what is worrying me. For I know the bitch will be coming soon if I have to deal with those bastards.' Said Naruto with a frown on her face.

'I know. So now that we have gone over what happen with you turning into Sailor Lunar. You need to work on working on the flow of power into your attacks and if it comes down to it. I will come out and protect you. For that boy will not always be around to save you.' Said Kurama.

'I know. I need to be stronger. I need to stand on my own. For I can not put everyone on everyone else's shoulders like last time.' Said Naruto still with the frown on her face.

Laying on the green not that far from Naruto is Shikamaru looking up at his hand as it shadowed over his eyes as the clouds lazily drifted by.

'So my past is coming back to bite me in the ass. My stupid half brother is a live and he is still running around with that witch.' He thought to himself letting out a sigh.

Hinata sat under a tree lost in her own little world. 'I am not going to be dead weight for her. I will show her that I am strong and will protect her like the girl who came before me.' She thought to herself with a ghost of a smile on her face.
