Chapter 19: Departure
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles made their way back to their subway lair. Leatherhead went back to the Pokémon Hills Nature Park. Mortu and Dr. Perry managed to build a new dimensional portal and went back to their home in Dimension X. Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Hilda, Zoroark and Cilan went to the Pokémon Center to dry themselves. "Oh my. What happened to you. There's not a cloud in the sky," said Nurse Joy. "You don't want to know," said Ash. "Pikachu," said Pikachu in agreement. But then, Iris approached him. "Iris?" asked Ash. "What do you want?" asked Hilda. "I don't want any trouble. I have a favor I want you to do for me," said Iris. "And what would that be?" asked Ash. She then took out Dragonite's Pokéball and put it in Ash's hand. "Take care of my Dragonite for me," said Iris.
"What? Why?" asked Ash. "After my defeat at the claws of Shredder, Tokka and Rahzar, I realize I'm not ready to wield it's power. I want you to take care of him for over a year," said Iris. "Where are you going in the mean time?" asked Cilan. "I'm going to find a powerful Dragon-type Trainer who can help me become a better Dragon Pokémon Trainer," said Iris. "I have two recommendations. You could either train with Kanto Elite Four Member, Lance since he's in town or his cousin, the Blackthorn City Gym Leader, Clair from the Johto Region. They're quite the powerful Trainers," said Ash. "Okay. And I'm sorry for all the times I've insulted you. I was just afraid to accept that you were a better Trainer than I am," said Iris. "Apology accepted and I'll make sure to train Dragonite once he's fully healed," said Ash. "Goodbye," said Iris. And she sadly exited out of the Pokémon Center. "Don't worry. I'll take good care of Dragonite for you," said Ash as he looked at Dragonite's Pokéball.
Back at the TMNS' lair, Splinter was watching the news. "And in a bizarre final note to the mysterious disappearance of TCRI, this message was delivered to the station earlier today: 'To Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello . . . ," said April. Splinter groaned in annoyance. "Idiots," said Splinter. "' . . . thanks for your help, dudes.' Signed, Professor Mortu and Professor Jordan Perry," said April. "Oy," said Splinter. "Of course we can only guess at its meaning. And now this," said April. Splinter turned off the TV.
(Insert "TMNT 90s Movie Theme")
Splinter began to hear some laughter. It was the TMNS, who had arrived back. "Yeah," said Leonardo. "Yeah,"said Donatello. "Woo-hoo!"said Raphael. "Oh, yeah," said Michelangelo. "Bodacious," said Leonardo. "Ostentatious," said Raphael. "Hey, hey, spacious," said Donatello. "Hey, dudes. Cowabunga says it all," said Michelangelo. "Cowabunga!" said the TMNS as they did a high three. "Oh, yeah," said Leonardo. "Go, ninja, go," said Michelangelo.
(End Music)
The TMNS saw Splinter was waiting for them. "We're home," said Raphael. Splinter remained silent. "Huh?" asked Donatello. "Were you seen?" asked Splinter. "Of course not, Master Splinter," fibbed Leonardo. "We practice ninja," said Donatello. "Yeah," said Raphael. "The art of invisibility," said Michelangelo. He let out a chuckle. Splinter then held out a newspaper, with the head article titled, "Ninja Rap is Born". There was also a heading that read "Dock Demolished Overnight". "Practice harder," said Splinter. The TMNS groaned. "Ten flips now. And remember: Go, ninja, go, ninja, go," said Splinter. The TMNS then started their first flip. "I made another funny," said Splinter. He let out a chuckle.

For 15 years we trained without distraction
Now it's time for ninja kick-butt action
Try to find the place but we don't know where we're headed
All we know for sure don't wanna get shredded!

And so, Iris has given Ash her Dragonite to take care of him and help him reach his true potential. Ash will get his own Dragonite like he did in Pokémon Journeys after he gives Iris' Dragonite back in Galar. This isn't the final chapter cause the epilogue is a post credits scene . . .
