For the duration of their stay in town (which was called New New York), the group had been given rooms in what was called the Grand Hotel (which was used for the occasional visitors that happened by). As night began to fall Garth had escorted Olga back to her room. "Good night, Olga," Garth said as he turned to leave.

"Wait, don't go yet," Olga said. "Come in for a few moments."

Garth entered the room and waited as Olga fixed them both drinks from her grail. Those things sure come in handy, he thought.

"Here you go," Olga said as she handed Garth his drink.

"What is it?" he asked.

"Vodka."

"Never had that," Garth said as he took a sip. "Not bad."

"How is work on that..."

"Sonic lance," Garth said helpfully.

"How is the work coming?" Olga asked.

"Great. If all goes well, in a few days, we can start the trial runs." Garth them moved over to the window and looked at the night sky. "Funny."

"What is it?" Olga asked as she joined him.

"This planet has no moon. I miss that." He turned to Olga. "Peladon had three of them."

"Da, the Moon is beautiful," Olga replied.

"I can think of something else that's beautiful," Garth said, smiling.

"What is that?"

"You, Olga," he said and the two of them kissed.
