Piper's Pov:
"Is that..?" I asked, hoping Percy will fill in the blanks himself.
"mmhmm," Percy is amazing at words.
There, right in front of me, is everyone worst nightmare. Justin was kissing Annabeth.
The worst part? Annabeth was kissing him back.
"Annabeth! How could you?" I screamed. My patience snapped like a twig the moment they broke the kiss. I stormed up to them and punched Justin square in the jaw. Hah!
"What are you doing?" Annabeth hissed. I stopped.
"I'm going to kill this freak!"
"No! I love him! And only him!" she grabbed my fist before it could connect a second time with the boys jaw.
"What about Percy?" I whispered in a dangerous tone. "Don't you love him?" I stared stright into Annabeth's eyes, and that's when I noticed a hint of pink drizzled into her usual grey eyes.
"I know that look in your eyes. You've been-" I was cut off when Justin covered my mouth.
"Don't believe anything she says my love. We were meant to be!" in that sweet voice I know so well. I kneed him in the groin.
"Get your filthy hands off me! I know what your doing. I'm going to stop you if it's the last thing I do!" then like Annabeth taught me, I judo-flipped him and ran off to tell Percy the problem. The only thing was, I had no idea how to fix it.
Hip hip hooray for Piper!"How does he even know how to do that?" Percy said after I explained what I knew Justin was doing.
"I'm not sure. Maybe he's been practicing in his room or something?"
"So let me get this straight, Justin needs to kiss his soulmate before Valentines which is in a week or so. If he doesn't we all die. He also thinks that Annabeth is his soulmate. Correct?"
"Assuming what we think is correct, yes."
"They already kissed though! So if she was actually his soulmate, then wouldn't we know? And since we have no sign, maybe she isn't his soulmate!" He said with hope.
"I guess. There is a slight problem. How do we know the curse isn't lifted?" I didn't mean to crush him, but what if the curse lifted when they kissed and we just didn't see a sign?
"We need to tell Chiron. He would know what to do," Percy said.
