I'm so happy to see everyone in the comments! I've miss ya'll. This one is one sided a bit because I rushed to get it out. Next time we'll look at Leo, promise.

Jordan screamed. It was a blood curdling type of thing. Immediately, Sara pulled him back up off the ground. "What's wrong, little mister?" She cooed, checking him over, worried a nail might have been left from the construction. When there was nothing to be found, she patted his back. "What happened, huh?" His cries had stopped and he nuzzled into her shoulder. Donald and Jillian wobbled their way over to her, curious. Jillian thumped on her leg, asking to be let up, as well. "Do you know what happened to Jordan, honey?" She bent down and scooped up her daughter. All she got as an answer was a gurgling sound. Donald latched himself onto her leg, sitting on her foot. She got a few cooes from him as well. "Oh, is that right?" She teased. Jordan pulled on Jillian's finger and started babbling to her, which caused her to babble right back.

"It sounds like they'll be talking soon. The sounds just might be difficult for them." Donnie put his arms around her where he could and rest his head on her shoulder. Sara leaned into his touch and nodded with a hum. "They're walking early and they have good fine motor skills. Talking can wait just a bit." The sun on her face was splendid as they stood outside. Donnie started to play peek-a-boo with Jillian and Jordan. Donald let go of her leg and threw himself down on the blanket she had spread about. It only took him grabbing the fake keys before the other two were squirming their way out of her arms. Child free, she leaned into Donnie, cherishing the feeling of her children and mate being close.

"How are you feeling?"

"Good." She smiled. "I'm going to miss this." She sighed.

"Me too. I can't help but be excited to see them grow, though." He nuzzled against her neck and squeezed her. "Leo said we'll be moving in next week."

"I thought it would take him longer to decide."

"He likes it out here, too."

"Good. I just wanted to make you all happy."

"You make me happy everyday." Donnie laughs against her ear. She laughs with him, happily.

She wants to pull her hair out, scream, something. "What do you mean you'll be moving away?"

"Sara built somewhere secrure for us to live, besides where we are now, so next week we'll be moving." Leo looked down.

"But, we just..." Tabitha looked down at her hands.

"I know, but I have to do what's best for them. And this doesn't mean that we have to stop, okay? Actually, I've thought some things over and," Leo paused. "I want to take you to the Lair, and then, to our new home. I want you to meet my father, and Mik." Leo grabs her hands and she looks up at him. There's hope in those eyes. Sophia returned from her room and ran to Leo.

Tabitha started to pull away. They'd decided it would be best to wait before telling Sophia, incase things didn't work out. It would be best not to hurt her niece if she didn't have to. "Hey, I wanna see your mom and dad too!" Sophia jumped, pulling on Leo's arm. "I wanna go!" Tabitha held back a groan and was about to apologize. Leo lifted the little girl and sat her on his lap. "Let's both ask her, then. Ready?" He smiles widely. Sophia nods fast enough it's a momentary fear that she might snap her neck. "Please, Aunt Tasha?" They ask together.

Tabitha bites the inside of her cheek because, fuck, that was the cutest thing she'd ever seen. How was she going to say no?

"I can walk, you know." She scolds. She rests in Leo's arms, the sway of his walk the only indication that they are moving. "I could do this all night, too, you know?" He chuckles.

"When are we going to get there? I want to see Sara's babies, and Master Splinter, and Donnie, and-"

"We'll get there soon, dudette. No peaking, remember? Full ninja mode." Mikey laughed softly. Tabitha smiled. She couldn't see anything, so it was comforting to know that they were in good hands. Even if she'd rather be on her own two feet, she couldn't deny the strength in Leo's arms as she was carried through the tunnels. "We're here, no peaking, yet, okay? But I'm going to set you down, So-So." Mikey's voice conveyed just how excited the younger turtle was. Leo's arms tightened around her and she returned the gesture, a subtle and maybe even secret hug between them.

Her feet felt unsteady under her, but she stood as tall and proud as she could. Leo's hand took hers, ushering her forward. The blindfold that had been placed over her eyes fell away. She blinked away at the light, giving herself a moment to see properly.

The cavernous living space was not something she'd imagined before. It looked like almost any other home, save for maybe a weird design. Hallways lead off the main area which consisted of the living room and kitchen. Despite being in the sewers, everything looked clean and put together. Donnie stood with two smaller turtles in his arms while a redhead stood next to him, another small turtle in her arms. Mikey ran other to Becca who was already calling Sophia over to her. Raph sat on the couch, watching something on the TV. Tabitha relaxed. She already knew most of Leo's family, there was no reason to start stressing now.

"Hello, I'm Tabitha-Lynn, most people call me Tabitha." She introduced herself to Sara. "I've heard a lot about you, it's nice to finally meet you." She reached out a hand.

"Sara, and likewise." The red head greeted with a smile before darting her eyes away. "I'd like to talk to you more, later. Right now," Sara paused and called over Tabitha's shoulder, "Leo, Master Splinter is waiting with Mik in the dojo. He said he didn't want to spook them." Sara looked back at Tabitha, but continued to avoid eye contact. It seemed odd to Tabitha, but she just assumed it wasn't something Sara was comfortable with. "Papa is quite kind, don't let him scare you."

"Understood," Tabitha chuckled. Splinter was supposed to be a giant rat, so she'd already thought about how he would look for a while now. Either she was ready, or she wasn't. She let Leo lead the way to the dojo.

It was darker in here, but not uncomfortably so. There was equipment all over, but none of it looked disorderly. At the far end was a table where two forms sat close together. One set of black eyes and one set of red stared her down and it wasn't nearly as comfortable as she hoped meeting these two would be. Mik was snow white with red-brown stripes and Splinter was dark grey with lighter fur on his face and neck.

"Hello, and welcome, Miss Tabitha-Lynn. I am glad to be able to finally meet you."

"Master Splinter, and I presume, Miss Mik." Tabitha smiled as she followed Leo's movements to sit across from the pair. "Hello." Mik smiled softly. Behind them, the dojo door opened again and Sophia skipped into the room. "Aunt Tasha, you should come see the babies! They're so small! Oh! Master Splinter?" Sophia stopped mid-way to them and Tabitha tried to give her niece a calm smile, worried about the seven year old. "Master Splinter, I want to learn how to be a ninja, too!" Sophia dashed to the elder rat. "I wanna be a ninja like Leo! Will you teach me, too, please? Please? Please?" Splinter started to laugh softly. Tabitha sighed at her niece before pulling her into her side. "It's a bit rude to be asking that, So-So. You haven't even introduced yourself yet." Tabitha booped Sophia on the nose softly. "And I already told you, no, you aren't allowed to be a ninja." She reminded her firmly.

"Oh, well, if your aunt says no, then I'm sorry, but I cannot teach you how to be a ninja." Splinter chuckles. "We can try asking her if she doesn't mind Leo teaching you a few things, though. I've gotten old and might not be the best teacher anymore. Leo can teach you simple things to help strengthen your body without teaching you how to fight." Splinter's calm seemed to seep into the room. Tabitha could feel it settle in her chest and she nodded to him. She didn't need to look at Sophia to know that she would be giving her the puppy dog eyes. "Simple excersises only." She caved just a bit. It wouldn't be a horrible thing for Sophia to learn. She looked to Leo to stress her point. "Nothing dangerous and only if it won't hurt her." The firm nod she got back before Sophia started to nearly vibrate in her arms was enough for her.

"Leo has told me that you agreed to let him court you, I am most pleased." Tabitha wished she could make him stop talking, trying to signal him that Sophia didn't know. Beside her, Leo was waving his arms, trying to get the point across.

"Court, what's that?" Sophia asked.

"Date," Mik supplied with a smile to Sophia and a smirk to Leo.

"Date, wait, you two are dating?" Sophia whipped around in Tabitha's arms. Heat sweapt up her face and the glance over at Leo let her know that he was in a similar situation. "Yes, your aunt agreed to date me, but-" Leo cautioned Sophia, lowering himself to look her in the eye. "We are just trying it out. Things might not work between us, so we decided to focus on staying friends as much as possible." Those pleading blue eyes shot up to hers and Tabitha could only nod.

Sophia was silent, so Tabitha continued trying to learn about Leo's family. Splinter and Mik answered questions and told stories. Tabitha was engulfed for a moment before she felt Sophia wiggle out of her arms. The door opened and shut, and Tabitha hoped that Sophia wouldn't do anything to get in trouble as she listened to Mik praise Leo for his ablility to finally use the toaster without threatening to burn the lair down. Maroon painted the turtle's cheeks and Tabitha laughed. This odd little family was something she felt she'd lost for a while, and was happy to be able to witness it now.
