Guest – I mean…Klaus isn't the nicest person in season 2… but rest assure Sabrina will not be turned anytime soon…
arapyanime – While Sabrina does mean something to Elijah and they obviously like each other, family is EVERYTHING to Elijah. 'Family above all' as they said.

This current mindset was not productive. Sabrina watched Katherine swivel around in a chair. She had no phone, no way of making contact and she couldn't leave. Thinking in a continuous negative loop was starting to become self-destructive and it wasn't going to help, she knew she needed to be smart about it. It was a pain in itself to have to compartmentalise, but it was the only way she was going to get through it.
"What are you doing?" Katherine asked her as she walked past her in the kitchen.
"Not letting someone else dictate now I feel," she replied taking down a bottle of bourbon from the cupboard along with two glasses.
Katherine got up from her seat and motioning to the door. Sabrina stopped pouring and put the bottle down on the countertop.
She watched from the kitchen as Katherine ran to the door.
"Alaric, are you home? Andie...Star, Jenna's friend." A voice on the other side spoke.
Katherine was struggling, similar to the force that wouldn't let her walk out but this time Katherine wasn't even able to touch the door knob. She gave up in frustration and looked at Sabrina who had a frown on her face.
Sabrina took steps to the front door, twisting the door knob she came face to face with Damon and Andie.
"Sabrina?" was the first thing to leave Damon's mouth.
"Guess who decided to pay me a visit at work, give me a killer migraine and trap me in here?"
"Wow! You were right. She looks exactly like Elena," Andie exclaimed looking past her at Katherine. She wasted no time and walked into the apartment.
"Yep," Damon spoke not being able to enter.
"Thought you might be dead."
"So I've been told." Katherine gave a slight glace at Sabrina.
"What are you doing here?" Katherine asked him.
Andie was quick to answer. "We are here to rescue you."
"No, sweetie. We are here to see if she deserves to be rescued," he corrected.
"I figured you still might be kicking. Alaric-Klaus was blending way too easily. Figured he probably had some coaching," he said holding up a phial in front of Katherine.
"Is that?"
"Vervain? Your salvation."
"It's not going to undo anything."
"There's always a loophole. Did he tell you to stay in this apartment until he said it was okay to leave?"
The back and forth between the two came to a halt as Katherine couldn't get words to come out of her mouth.
"You can't say. Did he tell you to do absolutely everything he says until the end of time?"
"No."
"There's your loophole. Drink this and it'll prevent any further compulsion."
Katherine took a few steps to get closer to him but wasn't able to grab it as Damon pulled the vial back.
"Give it to me."
Answer one question first. You double-crossed us with Isobel, why?"
"I didn't think you could stand a chance against Klaus, so I was looking out for myself."
nd where did that get you?" he asked her before tossing her the phial. "Here. Be careful with that. If he finds out you have that, you're never getting out of here."
She coughed as the liquid ran down her throat. "You owe me. And I will collect."
His attention turned to Sabrina who switched between watching their interaction and Andie as she rummaged around the apartment.
"Now, what do I have to do to get you out?"
"Find a way to de-spell whatever it is that stopping me from walking out that door."
"I'll get Bonnie to try and find something."
"Thanks, Damon." He nodded before looking at Andie. "Come on."
"Nice to meet you," he said to Katherine as she shut the door.
Once the door closed Sabrina walked to the CD player turning it on, music blared out from whatever Alaric last played.
"Are you okay?" Katherine called out by the door way. This wasn't the behaviour she'd expected from someone who'd just been dragged into a prisoner situation.
"No, I'm not okay." She walked back to the whiskey on the counter. "But I just have to accept that. It is what it is; and right now there's nothing I can do. Might as well drink to that."

The music from the stereo continued to blare throughout the apartment. The volume dial was turned up as high as it could go. Sound permutated within the four walls was loud enough to get the two girls on their feet, dancing the rhythm of the song. The cups of bourbon were discharged a while ago and they resorted to drinking out of the bottle.
It wasn't something Sabrina was used to, forgetting the worries and stress and focusing on having fun, dancing like nobody was watching and acting like she didn't have a care in the world. Liquor bottle in hand she stopped and watched Katherine who seemed to share the same feeling.
Katherine suddenly came to a halt midway through. "What is it, what's wrong?
The question was a courtesy. Her standstill mirrored that of when Damon and Andie came a few hours ago. The warning gave enough time for Sabrina to put the glass bottle on the coffee table as Katherine speeding over and sat down on the sofa.
Sabrina neared the kitchen island as the door opened and in walked Klaus, albeit in Alaric's body. The two girls watched as he looked around the room, staring for a while at Sabrina before setting eyes on Katherine who sat motionless on the sofa.
"You mind turning that down?" Katherine looked at Sabrina, causing Klaus/Alaric do to the same. She leaned over the countertop and grabbed the remote and did as asked.
Sabrina didn't know if could sense that something wasn't right or if he was just in a mood. It was Katherine who had the courage to ask. "Why so grumpy?"
"This body has outlived its usefulness."
"Do you want a drink?"
"No, Katerina, I don't want a drink."
"Come on. It might loosen you up." Rising from the sofa she walked up to him, picking up the half empty bottle of bourbon that Sabrina placed of the coffee table.
The response to her question was non-verbal. The bottle in Katherine's hand was snatched from her grasp and made impact with the wall behind her. The smashing of the glass caused Sabrina to slightly flinch but her eyes never left the scene, watching his action as he began to compel Katherine.
"What I want is for you to sit down and shut up." Putting up the façade, she did as she was told.
Alaric's head turned to Sabrina, her glare was soft as she observed carefully. She had yet to ask him why she was here and what he wanted with her. Given the way he'd responded to Katherine, mixed with everything she'd heard about him built up a fear that stopped her from questioning him.
"Jenna's asked about you."
The comment had no context, its sole purpose was to garner a reaction, and it successfully did. "What did you do?"
"Had lunch, talked, it was fun really, until Stefan arrived." His face showed amusement as panic and worry showed in hers. Sabrina did her best to hide it, but it faltered due to the fact this was the first time she'd heard about Jenna since she'd left.
"And he didn't have it in him to stick a carving knife in you?" she scorned.
"This body gets hurt you lose the teacher."
Their short conversation came to an end as the warlock who brought here to the apartment walked in.
"Maddox, what took you so long?"
"You've got a lot of luggage." Two men followed him into the apartment carrying different bags. Behind them was a woman. Her arrival into the room placed a smile on his lips.
"Greta. Finally."
"Hello, love."
"Hello." She looked at him from head to toe, taking in his choice on host. "Nice body."
Sabrina did not need to hear that being said about the boyfriend of her best friend. "You ready to get out of it?"
Curious eyes moved to two men rolling in a large wooden crate into the room. Klaus' conversation and the new objects that were brought into the room gave her a good idea of what was to come.
•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•
The crate was tilted up right, candles were placed in a circle and Greta and Maddox chanted in Latin as they knelt near the candles.
The rooms atmosphere was ominous. The spell continued with Alaric stood in front of the witches with his eyes closed in a trance like state.
Katherine and Sabrina weren't too far back, stood together watching and waiting. The flames on the candles grew as the chanting came to a stop and Alaric's eyes opened.
He looked disorientated, as if he'd come out of a deep sleep. "Sabrina? Elena?"
The short two words were the first and last to come out of his mouth. Collapsing to the floor, Maddox stood up, ignoring the unconscious history teacher, opened the large box. He stepped side allowing the Klaus Sabrina knew from her visions to walk out about observe his surroundings. Taking a quick glance down at Alaric's body before looking straight ahead.
"Now that's more like it," he said, the corners of his mouth rising in a smile.
