Ch 23

Battling the Sound Five

The leaf team heads off to chase down Sasuke and bring him back. The team of six as their layout as followed. Kiba, Akamaru and Suki in the front for both for tracking and sensing out the enemy's chakra. In the middle is with Naruto and Shikamaru. Lastly its Neji and Choji at the back to cover us. " They got a head start on us, but if we can get to them before they cross the border we have a shot and getting Sasuke back."
Everyone nods agreeing as Akamaru starts to whimper as Kiba tell the rest of us he smells blood. Shikamaru" that must mean they got into a fight and someone got injured, this might mean they will have to take a rest to recover." Naruto hears this and started to feel more determined now. Naruto" alright that means we could take them on, I'll show them my new jutsu!"

Choji" hey Naruto. Suki and Shikamaru are the leaders so we follow what they say, not you." Naruto huffs a bit." guys we cannot get cocky. They are strong, I met them, and I could tell they were more powerfully then they look. They have curse marks and they know how to use their power. So be on guard if their resting there could be traps." Shikamaru" Suki right, everyone don't let your guard down and stay alert."
We all nods hearing this as we keeps going now when suddenly Akamaru starts whimpering again. Kiba" hold up their traps ahead!" we hears this as both me and Shikamaru call at once. Suki&Shikamaru" Everyone stop!" we all stop on the same branch now as we stop to look around now. Neji" look over their I see a few paper bombs on that tree there." Seeing all this we get onto the ground watching out foot.

As we got we nearly get caught in a double hidden trip wire as I looks around us and finches." Guys none move. I remember one thing about one of them…one had multiple arms. This is just a guess but I think his part spider.." the others look at me as I take a closer look around as I points to a spider web in a bust." It's hard to see but look out this is done the threads don't stop at some points?"
They look at Neji uses his Byakugun to see. Neji" Suki right theirs a very thin nearly invisible thread there, it looks like there a few spider webs around us." I flinches more as I goes a bit pale."..yea…so if we. Touch them…we will fall into a trap..and alert them." I was slightly shaking as Naruto looks at me funny. Naruto" what's up with you Suki, why you shaking so much like that?"

The others could see why and sighs at Naruto."…I…hate spidery. They creep me out… so I don't wanna go near any of them…" Naruto was still shocked never seeing me be so scared like this. I was trying my best to remain calm." I hate this so much…why did my phobia of spiders form my old life come back to bite me… ok this should be the only time id have to encounter them…as long as one doesn't surp-"
While in the middle of my thoughts to try calming myself a spider suddenly appears right in front of my face."Kyaaahhh!" I let out a scream as I steps back going paler now shaking. The guys saw this, and some were trying not to laugh at how silly I look now. Neji" I would never thought Suki would have a fear like that….that scream…cute.." after a few minutes I pulls myself together taking a deep breath.

I quickly turns to the guys and looks at them serious." This never happened…understand?"I smiles at ye both there was a deadly threat in the way I said it as the guys nodded quickly knowing if I wanted to I could really make them suffer if they spoke of this. With this new information we comes up with a plan on what to do now as we gets a plan and heads off now hoping it turns out well.
Once we get closer as Neji spotted them resting and said their carrying a very sealed up coffin we determine Sasuke inside it. However, Sakon from the group threw a kunai with explosive tags on it as they go off and out came a Shikamaru and Neji. Sakon" well well look what we have here. Some little leaf ninja far from home.?" He smirks as the others stand really to attack with the Shikamaru raises his hands.

Shikamaru" hey hey hold up we just wanna talk, can't we do that like reasonable people?" Kidomaru smirks pulling his other arms back, Kidomaru"why don't we bring out your other friends too!" he pulls his threads as they pull out a Kida, naurot and have the threads from Kidomaru around their ankles. Before the sound ninjas get too close Kiba threw down some smoke bombs creating a large cloud of smoke between us.
Sakon" hahaha you think a bit of smoke will stop us, you sadly underestimated us kids." he tried to move but was unable to. Sakon"huh what?!" when the smoke disappears its revealed that Shikamaru uses his shadow passion jutsu trapping all of them in it. Sakon"hn, clever kid but not good enough!2 Suddenly shuriken's come flying at Shikamaru when causes him to move which stop his jutsu too.

Jirobo started to make hand signs. Jirobo" Earth style: earth prison dome!" he puts his hands onto the ground as rock comes up from the ground surrounding them as it encases them in a done structure now. Sakon"hn, they think they could stop us, Jirobo don't be long with them we head off now.."Kidomaru picks up the coffin as they were about to leave when suddenly. "Plant style: Uproot!" tree roots from the ground come up and attacks them.
Sakon, Kidmaru and Tayuya were barely able to dodge but seen Jirobo was focusing on his jutsu he gets knocked back as his dome gets destroyed as I appears now smirking at the." Nice to see you again so soon..." They glares seeing me. Sakon"you damn wench again.!" He charges to go attack me himself. Kiba"Fang over fang!" Naruto" Rasengan!" Suddenly both the attacks come from the trees and hits Sakon knocking him back.

The Kiba and Naruto with the others poof away as they were just clones with the real ones appear at my side." We figured out your traps, so we set one of our own. Now give us Sasuke and you might get to leave unharmed!" I glares looking serious at them as Sakon gets back to his feet. Sakon" tsk, we can't wait time, Jirobo you handle them!" him and the other two run off as before we can give chance Jirobo gets in our way.
Shikamaru" damn this guy's big, we felt our charka going a bit when we were in that dome. We need to be able to hit him hard back." Naruto was just about ready to charge when Choji stops him. Choji" let me handle this guy the rest of you keep going." We were all shocked by this but nods. Shikamaru" Choji you got this pal. Don't you lose to him" Choji nods back as the rest of us heads off as Choji stops Jirobo from getting at us.

We continues chasing the down the rest of the sound ninjas as they got a bit of a lead on us as they talk among themselves what to ." Sakon here you take the coffin, I'll slow them down more than me and Jirobo will catch up with ye. Sakon nods as he takes hold of the coffin as him and Tayuya heads off now as Kidomaru hides to wait for us to get about closer now so then he can strike.
We starts to pick up the pace as once we are in sight Kidmaru started making hand signs. Kidomaru" Spider Bind!" he fires spider wed from his mouth in front of us as he tries to trap us in it.I gasps and quickly uses vines to cut through the web passing through it." No way I'm going near that gross stuff!" Kidomaru glares me for saying that. Kidomaru" why you! I'll make you pay for the insult!"

I gasp as I got no chance to react as before he gets close Neji comes and knocks him away. Neji" you all leave this one to me, go on and rescues Sasuke" the other nods as they head off wishing Neji good luck as I looks at him" Neji be careful, don't lose to the spider creep." He nods as I quickly join the others as Neji and Kidomaru begins their fight now. While were heading forward Sakon and Tayuya gets stopped by someone.
Sakon"…K-kimimaro..what are you doing here.." he was shaking a bit as was Tayuya as both were afraid of Kimimaro. Kimimaro" you all were taking so long…where are Jirobo and Kidomaru?" he glances around not seeing them. Tayuya" we have some Leaf ninja following us after Sasuke,those two are holding them off." Kimimaro glares at them as She takes the coffin from Sakon.

Kimimaro" I will deliver Sasuke to Lord Orchimaru, you make sure those Leaf ninja are taken care of…if you don't I'll personally kill you." He looks at them both serious as they flinch and nods. Kimimaro takes off now. Soon we show up as Sakon said he slowly them down telling Tayuya to go on ahead as he nods going." Neither of them have the coffin I think their someone else with them!"
I already know who it is as Kiba said he and Akamaru will take Sakon on." good luck Kiba he should be weaker from the attacks earlier but still don't let your guard down!" he nods as the three of us gets passed him as we start to tail Tayuya now. Sakon and Kiba start their fight as Tayuya started setting up traps for us but I sends vines at her distract her as Shikamaru catches her in his jutsu.

Shikamaru" I'll handle here you two go get your teammate back!" Naruto and I nods wishing Shikamaru luck as we both keep going now. Everyone was fighting hard in their fights as soon Naruto and I comes to a clearing as we now see Kimimaro with the coffin. Naruto" hey you give Sasuke back right now!" he glares at Kimimaro as I pulls Naruto back before he charges him.
" in that coffin is our teammate we are here to get him back, so please step aside now, or we be forced to attack." I look at him seriously. Kimimaro" Sorry but Lord Orochimaru needs Sasuke now. So, I can't give him back to you, but feel free to try and take him back." He gets into a fighting stance. I thinks for a minute looking at the coffin remember Sasuke comes out of it any time now.

"Naruto let me see what this guy can do first then we can get a better idea what he can do…don't get involve unless things look bad for me, that's an order." I look at Naruto using my higher rank to show I'm serious as he nods. Naruto" ok Suki but things go south I'm here to back you up." I smile at him as I focus making hand signs." Plant style: Thorned Vines!" I throw seeds down as they out and charge at Kimimaro.
However, he showed no fear as once they vines gets close he suddenly cuts them all after taking something out of his shoulder. Which turned out to be bone. Naruto gasps at this. Naruto" ah no way he took a bone out of his body." I nod remembering this." Yea this must be his kekki genkai, am I right?" he nods pointing the bone at "yes I can use each bone in my body."

I tries thinking of another way to get past his bones but I can't as I quickly makes more hand signs. "Plant style: Grass Blades!" now a grass blade forms in each hand as I charges at Kimimaro as he takes out another bone to have two in each hand as we clash with both our weapons now trying to land a blow on the other. I might not be great with taijutsu but I use my small size to easily dodge.
I tries to get closer to the coffin but Kimimaro keeps me away as even Naruto tried but he easily got knocked back. But then smoke starts coming out the coffin as this causes us all to stop as I jump back seeing this. Then it exploded causing a smoke of cloud to appear. Once the smoke fades we see Sasuke but he didn't look himself as his back was too " it seems he survived and can now access the second stage of the curse mark.

I grits my teeth looking at Sasuke." Sasuke Uchiha you better not lose yourself to the damn curse mark! Now you come to us so I can whack you for worrying us!" I was not sure me yelling would work but I was mad at him. The curse mark did reverse as he goes back to normal, but he still did not turn to us and just runs off head for the border line. Naruto" Hey Sasuke come back!"
Naruto goes to chase after him but Kimimaro tries to stop him, but I send normal vines that grab one of his bone swords and pulls him back." Your fighting me! Naruto go get Sasuke and give him a punch for me, be careful!" I look at him knowing his going to end up fighting Sasuke as he nods at me grinding then takes off after Sasuke now. Kimimaro" hmph admirable you let your friend go off alone girl."

I looks back at him in a fighting stance." I trust Naruto so I will not be worrying, and my names Suki, remember it! Now bring it on Bone Boy!" I charge at him with my grass blades. Kimimaro charges back as we clash again. We keep this up as so far neither of us has landed a blow on the other as suddenly Kimimaro jumps back. Kimimaro" you have some impressive skills Suki, but I must not lose for Lord Orchimaru."
I glares at him" oh shut it about the creep! I do not care if he saved your life or gave you purpose! I will tell you something I told another person. You are your own person you do not have to follow someone forever. It's your own life!" Kimimaro glares at me for what I said. Kimimaro" don't talk as if you know me! Digital Shrapnel!" the tips of his fingers shoot out heading for now.

I gaps as I tries to dodge and deflect them as some hits me. One going right through my right arm as I winces at this as I jumps have holding my arm a bit. Kimimaro" hmph, not so fast are you, you will take back what you said about Lord Orochimaru!" he goes the same thing again as I tries moving out of the way but one hits me in the left leg as I ends up falling to the ground.
I winces at this as it did hurt going right through me as I uses some med ninjutsu to heal both holes as I tries to get up again. However, Kimimaro slams his foot onto me preventing me from getting up. Kimimaro" don't you dare talk badly of Lord Orochimaru! Don't act like you know what it feels like to suffer as I have!"he starts to slam his foot on me causing me more pain as I grunts in pain from it all.

He did this for a few minutes when he suddenly stops as he takes some step back as he starts to cough violently making him cough up a bit of blood. I slowly sit up seeing this remembering Kimimaro illness form the show." Your very I'll…you can't hide that…yet you still continue to fight regardless of your own health…" I looks at him worried but knows if I step closer to him he attack me.
He keeps this up as I got to my feet as he turns to me as I put my grass blades away." I'm not fighting you anymore, I want to help you…" he looks at me with a shocked look but he remains focus on the task going back to a serious face as he goes to slash me with his bone blade but I don't move. Kimimaro stops his blade just inches from my throat now. Kimimaro"…why do you want to help me….after what I did."

"well it wasn't nice to get hit and stepped on but they can be forgiven… But I can't force or nor will I. I want to be a great medical ninja…how can I be one if I turn my back on someone who needs help?" I look at him serious as Kimimaro was conflicted on what he was to do as he holds his head dropping his bone sword and falls to his knees hunched over now. Kimimaro"…I do wish to get better…I don't wanna die so young if it can be helped…but what is there for me.."
I knee down beside him as I pats his back gently." Don't worry Kimimaro I'll do my best to help you get better, for what you wanna do well you have a whole world out their to explore and see what's their for you." I smiles at him gently as he lifts his head to look at me seeing real kindness in my eyes, something he thought he saw in Orochimaru but it was all just lies to him.

Alright wasn't that great? i do have a fear of spiders so i justed wanted to give it to Suki. because it was funny and surpsieing to see her so shaken up and scared. Anyways hope oyu liek how thigns are going stay tune to the next one. alright then take care and bye bye ^^
