Sakura let out a frustrated growl as she glared at the salad in front of her. The cold man sitting beside her hadn't even let her order her own food. With a smirk, she flicked a cherry tomato straight at his forehead. Unfortunately, Sasuke just speared it with his fork mid-air and popped it into his mouth. It was the thought that counted, right?
"Your team is very annoying," the Uchiha mumbled as he glanced at the next table over, where all three males of team seven sat, nursing sake and snacking on tempura.
I want tempura, Sakura thought longingly, stabbing the salad in front of her moodily.
She blinked in surprise as a piece of battered shrimp landed in her bowl. Kakashi eye-smiled at her from his spot, waving another piece of shrimp at her teasingly. She gave a grin as she bit down on it victoriously, humming in pleasure as she chewed.
"Do you have any carrots?" she asked curiously, leaning forward quickly when Sai flicked one her way, catching it in her mouth.
"Oooh, do you want a zucchini coin?" Naruto offered, bouncing excitedly as he picked up a piece of food off of his place.
"Is this really necessary, Sakura? Wouldn't you rather have some of my roasted tomato soup?" Sasuke asked, a muscle above his eye ticking aggressively.
"Nope," Sakura chirped, catching the zucchini Naruto tossed between her teeth. Being a ninja could be fun.
"That's got to be dry. Do you want some of my ranch?" Kakashi asked, his eyes darkening in desire as he grinned behind his mask. Sakura nearly choked as she tried to swallow the food in her mouth.
"Ba~ka. Save that for the bedroom," she giggled, scrunching her nose at him. He winked.
"Why don't we just scoot our tables together?" Sasuke asked sarcastically, crossing his arms over his checks.
"Great idea, Teme!"
