Bella POV
I followed the love of my life into the meadow. When we got there, he took a step towards me. I responded by taking a step back. He put his face in his hands and sighed. "Bella… I" "What" I spat. "I left to protect you, Bella." "Please don't," I begged. "Please don't what?" "Lie" I answered. "Look, if you want to meet our children, fine. But we don't have to be together for-" He cut me off. "But I love-" "NO! DON'T LIE" I screamed. "Bella.." He whispered. All of the sudden, I was kissing him. It felt so right. I pushed him away and he slammed into a tree. "Don't" I whispered. I started to run back to the house when Edward stopped me.
Edward POV
My Bella followed me into our meadow. I took a step towards her, but she took a step back. I put his face in his hands and sighed. "Bella… I" "What" she spat. "I left to protect you, Bella." "Please don't," she begged. I was confused. "Please don't what?" "Lie" she answered. My heart broke. Out of the thousands of times I'd told her I loved her, she believed a simple lie. Well not simple. It was the lie that shattered my existence. "Look, if you want to meet our children, fine. But we don't have to be together for-" I cut me off. "But I love-" "NO! DON'T LIE" she screamed at me. "Bella.." I whispered. All of the sudden, I was kissing her. It was the best thing that's ever happened to me. She pushed me away and I slammed into a tree. "Don't" she whispered. She started to run back to the house but I stopped her. "How can I prove it to you?" I begged. "I-" She broke down in sobs and my already broken heart broke in two. Then I heard a crack come from the trees. I looked up to see Jane and Alec from the Volturi. "What do you want." I hissed at them. "We came for the girl!" She said while looking at Bella. "Over my dead body." I snarled. Bella started fighting Jane and I started fighting Alec. I ripped Alec apart and saw Bella had Jane ripped. She turned away and I saw Jane pull herself back together. She was about to get Bella's head and I jumped in front of her. I heard a loud ripping sound as my head was torn off my body.
I'm so sorry this didn't get out yesterday! I thought I had submitted it but I guess not. I'm also really sorry this was so short. The final chapter will be out today or tomorrow. I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I've been working on a Harry Potter/Twilight crossover. I'm really sorry I just have barely any motivation left for this story. I will finish it up though I promise. It ends today, Thanks for you guys that stuck around through my first fan fiction!
