Avengers Crisis On Earth X Chapter 27
Earth-X Oliver was quickly making short work of Dinah, René and Curtis while also holding off Ant Man, Nebula and War Machine.
Scott shrinks down and jumps with punches from everywhere he could.
As Dinah, Curtis and Rene fought valiantly against evil Oliver he ultimately proved too much.
Rhodey then soared to the air and Oliver fired arrows and Rhodey fired his guns. Oliver runs and dodges for cover.
"Come on out and fight"
Rhodey uses his suit's scanners to search for his opponent only to be met with a short circuit arrow from behind as he comes falling down. As Rhodey's helmet opens to see better Oliver smacks him in the face with his bow.
Scott again shrinks down and remembered his training from his friend "Hope Van Dyne" aka The Wasp. Scott goes in between full size and small size as she tries to get hits in to ultimately take him down. Until however Earth-X Oliver used his helmet to track the tiny Avenger. And when Scott was going for another hit, Oliver knew exactly where we was going to be.
He hits Scott with his bow and head buts him as he falls.
The only one who was left, was Nebula.
Oliver turns to see her standing across from her.
"Daughter of Thanos"
"I am not that monster's daughter"
"That's right. He killed him on your home world as half of your race was slaughtered. You must've been a horrible daughter from failing to save him. Just like you are a horrible sister for letting Gamora die"
Nebula grabbed both her batons.
"You may know about me, I may have failed to save my sister, but I will honor her memory but killing you for even uttering her name"
With that Nebula screamed a battle cry and she charged into evil Oliver. She let years of losses against Gamora, body augmentation and overall abuse from Thanos, finally take hold as she channels her rage and hits the archer with everything she had.
Nebula manages to knock the bow from his hand as she didn't let up. She hits a knee thrust. Tossed a baton at him, twist kicks him forward. She then uses her cyber arm to pick up Oliver with one arm and slams him pinned to the ground. She then pulls out her blaster and aimed at his forehead.
"I'll admit. I'm impressed"
"ITS OVER!" TELL YOUR FORCES TO SURRENDER!" Nebula ordered.
"As much as that would be easy for you, I always come prepared"
Nebula then gets hit a shield being tossed at her, knocking her out.
"WHERE WERE YOU?!" Oliver asks in anger.
"Enjoying the show you just put on"
"I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!"
"Another thing you should be grateful for it seems I just save your sorry pathetic excuse for a life AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET? CHILDISH WHINING?"
"I've had enough of your intolerable insufferable existence Rogers!"
Out of nowhere, gunshots hit Oliver on the shoulder.
He quickly turns to see Barnes with the gun
"TRAITOR! *draws bow*"
Steve then quickly stops him.
"Get to the medical bay and fix yourself up. He's mine and mine alone" ordered Steve.
Oliver then leaves to patch himself up.
"Buck..."
"Steve"
"You know I can't let you live after a stunt like that. You know that right?"
"We were best friends since we were little kids growing up in Brooklyn. The day I found out you were a Hydra sleeper agent after fighting side by side against the very enemy we swore to protect out country from? I knew you were too far gone even after being brainwashed by Hydra, I knew I had to save my best Friend" Bucky said.
"I never thought it would ever come to this"
"You've taken too many live for you just to get away with it"
Bucky raises his handgun at Steve.
"I'm sorry punk"
"You really were a jerk" said Steve with a smile.
Bucky fired the gun as Steve throws his Shield. The gun flies to the side as the two former friends fight one another.
Bucky uses his arm to counter all of the shield throws and he managed to get some hits on.
The two threw punches and kicks followed by knee strikes after trying to tackle the other one down.
Bucky goes for a sleeper hold using his metal arm to chokd Steve out. Steve was fading until he reached for his pouches that had a Widow stinger disk to short out the arm.
Using this to his advantage, Steve showing no remorse, chopped his friend down to size. Bringing his down to his knees, causing bruising to Bucky's ribs. Winding up a right hand to send him back.
Steve walks over to Bucky and as he was coughing up blood, Steve began raining left and right hooks until it was just right hand after right over and over again causing Bucky's face to swell and bruise.
He gets up as he prepares to leave to check on Oliver.
"Don't do anything stupid til I get back" Steve says
Bucky coughs and gargles his own blood and replies "How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you"
As those were his final words, Bucky grabs the gun and pulls the trigger only to be met with the sound of clicks.
Steve only sighed as he grabbed his Shield and drove it through the face of his former best friend, James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes.
