So here's Day 7! The Hunger Games are almost over! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Day 7

Emalynn Coria, 13

I didn't like being alone. I missed spending every day with my three friends. But I was determined to survive. I needed to win these Games, so I could go back home. I thought that with my water powers, I would be able to defend myself pretty easily against the boy from 2. That and the fact that I had food. It would only last another day, maybe two if I pushed it, but it would fuel me. Also I got seven knives from the feast. I could bring the water up from the ground, pick up a knife with it and fight without actually putting myself in danger. That would help me a bunch. And I had gotten some sort of cream from a sponsor today. After putting it on a minor scratch I had, I discovered it was healing cream, which would be super helpful.

BOOM!

I jumped, praying that it wasn't Jollin, Raylie, or Briar. But I also kind of hoped it was one of them. I couldn't stand fighting one of them to become the victor. Before I came, I swore that I would stay a loner, for this reason. But that didn't happen and now I might have to kill one of my friends.

Raylie Hatchet, 14, D7 Female

"No!" I cried out. "You killed him!"

"That is the point of the Games," the boy from 2 said. "And now I'm going to have to kill you."

I pulled out the lighter fluid I had been given in my pack, popping the cap off. I sprayed the contents in front of me, hoping some of it got him. He pulled out a tiny black rock looking thing, and before my eyes it began to move towards me, growing in size. I summoned the flames, pushing them towards the ground. Everything around me burst into flames. The boy jumped back, eyes wide. But then his eyes hardened, and he put his hand out closing his eyes. Something black grew from the flames.i threw flames at it, but it didn't burn. It continued to grow, coming my way quicker.

I focused my flames on the boy. But my hands were shaking too much, and I missed. I realized this wasn't a fight I would win, so I turned around to run. But before I could move, I felt something prickly wrap around my ankle. It began pulling me backwards. I tried to wrench my foot away, but it was too strong. I began to choke as the smoke entered my lungs. The fire was barely a foot away from me now. I kept trying to pull away from the thing surrounding my foot, but then I grew limp. There was no point. I was too weak. If I didn't struggle, my life would be over faster. I let it drag me into the flames.

"I love you Briar," I choked out, and then my vision went black.

Ajax Romero, 18, D2 Male

Two down, two to go. I had killed the pair from 7. Now I needed to find the boy from 3. I thought he was my biggest threat because of his power. The last time I tried to fight him, he made me set everything down and run. I still couldn't figure out why he didn't kill me, but with that power, he could tell me to kill myself, and I'd do it without thinking. That was what scared me the most about him. So I made it my goal to find him. If I found the girl from 5 and was able to kill her today as well, then the Games would end today. The thought put a smile on my face and I began jogging a little faster.

I kept running until I found a gravel path. I turned down wondering what it could lead to. After following the path for a while, I could make out a giant structure with a bunch of columns and some giant stone statue in front of it. I gave an extra burst of speed and reached the entrance within about a minute.

I entered the building, amazed at how huge it was. There were three doors leading out of the giant room. I randomly chose one and walked in. Quickly, I found a pack with the number 3 on it. It was still full of food. I left it there and shrank behind the door, waiting for the boy to return. When he got back, I would choke him to death with my vine. I still had five more seeds left. I loved the gift that I had gotten in my pack.

I figured I would be here for a while, so I sat down and pulled out the rest of my meal that I had received this morning. I finished off the steak, then the potatoes. I left the rest of it for my dinner.

I was just putting it away when I heard footsteps approaching the room I was in. I pulled out one of the seeds and willed it to start growing. The boy had sat down, and was eating, completely unaware of the vine that was quickly growing behind him. After it had reached a good width, I moved it to right behind him, then willed it to begin wrapping around his neck. He began gasping for air and turned around, seeing me. I saw his mouth move, but nothing escaped. The vine was wrapped too tightly around his neck.

"Don't have your voice to save you this time?" I taunted. "I learned my lesson from last time."

He looked so sad. I felt bad for killing him.

"I'm sorry," I whispered. "But I have to do this."

I tightened the vine until his head had turned purple and he wasn't breathing.

BOOM!

I left the room, feeling sad. That was something I had not expected. I heard the Capitol anthem play, and even heard the scream of a girl when they showed the faces of the three dead. It came from behind the building, and I decided to go that way in the morning, hopefully finding and killing her. Tomorrow I would be crowned Victor.

Thank you Kkash4 for sponsoring everyone except for Ajax, and thanks Greywolf44 for sponsoring Ajax!

Eulogies:

5th: Briar Dogwood - Briar was a great person. But he wanted Raylie to win. So he died trying to protect her.

4th: Raylie Hatchet - Raylie was also a great tribute. I didn't want to kill either of them, but Ajax was just stronger and more powerful than both of them. Thanks IciclePower33 for both of them!

3rd: Jollin Kraser - Jollin was another great person, (all of the younger ones were great) and I hated to see him go. But he just was too inexperienced to win.

The next chapter will be the last day, and I hope to get it out within the next day or two!
