Blaise Joins The Party
Back to Hogwarts, in the owlery, Voldemort was throwing some roses at Harry and Ron in their owl forms. They have a chain shackled to one of their legs, chained to the wall, to prevent them from escaping. Voldemort then started talking to mainly Harry about the ball.
Voldemort: It hurts me to lock you and your friend, Harry. It hurts me deeply. But then, a king's day is full of tough decisions. You understand.
Harry, of course, wasn't happy at all, so he bit down on the roses, tearing them to pieces. He then looked at Voldemort, who was still standing by the doorway, and gave him a mean look. That made Voldemort a bit upset at himself and was beating himself up a bit.
Voldemort: Oh, now you're mad at me again. Doggone it! I can't do anything right. Head full of pudding. That's me. I can't leave you like this. If you're not happy, I'm not happy. Hmm, I know. If you can't attend the ball, then I'll bring the ball to you. Let's see. The first thing you need is a young man. The Prince is busy, of course, but I think I can bring a substitute.
That's when he moved out of the way so Crabbe could come in with Blaise trying to get away. Harry and Ron were shocked when they saw Blaise and really couldn't believe it.
Blaise: No, please. I beg you. Please.
Voldemort: Oh, poor fellow. He got lost in the woods.
Crabbe finally pushed Blaise inside, but before he could land harshly on the floor, Harry and Ron stopped him just in time. When he noticed the two owls that stopped his fall, he started to panic and went to a corner to get away from them. He then turned to Voldemort and Crabbe, who were getting out of the owlery. He was begging them to let him out, but that wasn't happening.
Blaise: Help! Help! Don't go.
Voldemort: Oh, I'd love to stay, but if I don't leave now, I'll be late. That's tacky.
He was about to close the door all the way, until he saw the look that Harry was giving him. That's when he started stuttering and getting angry at him.
Voldemort: D-D-Don't give me that look, mister. Had to be sneaky, didn't you? Had to drag your weakling Prince into it, didn't you? That's fine with me. That's fine with me.
He then slammed the door shut which made all three occupants jump a bit. He locked it with a key and hung it on the right side of the wall. Harry was now by the wall with his head bowed down and the other two were watching him. Outside by the bushes, Pansy, Hermione and Luna were watching the whole thing and wondering what to do to get them out.
