I recently decided to change the rating from T to M, just in case. There will be an uptick in violence, language, and possible sexual content. Thank you for all of the support. I hope everyone continues to enjoy.

"Come on, Scipio. Come on!" Reyna hissed. She turned her head and saw that the door was starting to move. The guards were starting to break through. Reyna winced as she dragged her sister over to her Pegasus. Scipio was as close as he could get to the window. "Hylla!"

"Fine," Hylla muttered, but she was practically limp in Reyna's arm. Reyna let out a string of curses as her knee burned from the effort of keeping her standing. It felt like her leg was going to give out on her at any moment. "Can walk."

"Not on your own," Reyna hissed. She picked up her sister and almost yelled in pain. Reyna laid Hylla across Scipio and heard the door opening more. A bullet flew past her head, and she ducked. "Scipio, take her to the base!"

Scipio pulled away from the window and took off. Reyna threw herself to the ground and heard the door completely open. She stared at the ground and took shaky breaths. Three pairs of footsteps entered the room. Reyna rested her head against the ground. She didn't have the strength to get up.

A gun cocked and rested against the back of her head. Two pairs of hands grabbed onto her and pulled her to her feet. Reyna slowly looked up at the door and saw a fourth person. Jerry looked at her and then down at his dead parents. His face was stark white.

"You bitch!" Jerry snarled. Tears came to his eyes, and he clenched his fist. Elizabeth was standing behind him and staring in terror. Reyna smirked.

"Let's be honest; you were waiting for them to keel over anyway. All you care about is their fortune, and it helps that your daddy won't be on your ass all the time," Reyna said. Jerry walked towards her and grabbed her face.

"Did you do this?!" Jerry demanded. "Or was it that whore sister of yours?!"

Reyna spat in his face and didn't say a word. Jerry tightened his grip and spoke, "I think it was your sister. Should I kill you, or should I cripple your legs and send you back to her? Or should I do to you what she did to my mother?"

Reyna opened her mouth to curse him out, but something slammed into the back of her head. Her world went dark for a few moments. When she came to, Jerry had her pinned to the ground. He was undoing his belt. Reyna went to reach into her suit pocket, but she realized it was still wrapped around Hylla.

The world was spinning slightly, but Reyna didn't focus on that. She counted three guards around them. Reyna spoke, "Wait! I'm sorry."

"You're sorry?" Jerry snapped. He let go of his belt and grabbed her face. "You killed my parents, and you're sorry?! I'm going to kill you after I make you suffer."

Reyna groaned and slowly reached towards her pocket. Jerry roughly kissed her, and she tried to recoil. He kept her pinned and continued his advances. Reyna wanted to shove him away. Instead, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her coins. Reyna flipped them into the air and heard the cries of alarm.

Reyna heard gunfire, followed by a scream. One of her dogs growled, and Jerry tried to pull away. He suddenly collapsed against her. Reyna shoved him off and scrambled away. She stared up at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth held a gun in her hands. It was the same one that Hylla had used. After a moment, Elizabeth aimed her gun at Reyna and spoke in a demanding voice, "Call your dogs off."

"Aurum, Argentum. Heel," Reyna said. After a moment, the dogs returned to her side. She backed into the wall and glanced at the guards. One was holding onto their bloody throat. Another had a huge chunk taken out of their arm. The third was unconscious on the ground.

"I'm not going to let Jerry do that to you." Elizabeth began. Her eyes were red from crying, but she held the gun up without hesitation. "But you and your sister will pay."

"Wait," Reyna began. She tensed as Elizabeth's finger moved towards the trigger. "Argentum!"

Reyna threw herself to the side as the gun fired. She felt white hot pain in her upper arm but ignored it. Reyna placed her left hand to Aurum's head and turned him back into a coin. She stumbled to her feet and saw that Argentum had Elizabeth pinned. The gun had been knocked out of her hand, and Argentum's teeth were wrapped around her throat. He wasn't biting down, yet.

"Argentum, heel," Reyna said. Argentum pulled away, and Reyna turned back into a coin. She heard more running but stay focused on Elizabeth. "I'm sorry. It wasn't supposed to end this way."

Reyna grabbed her javelin from the ground and turned toward the window. She heard the gun being raised, and she cursed. Reyna turned and threw her javelin. It hit Elizabeth right in the head, killing the girl instantly. Reyna closed her eyes tightly and walked towards her javelin. After picking it up and cleaning the blood from the steel tip, Reyna walked back towards the window and hooked her javelin into it. All she wanted was for this night to be over.

"I think we're the first ones back," Jason began. He looked at the limousine in front of them. Their driver, one of the pirates who kept one eye on Jason and the other one on the road while driving, was smoking a cigarette. Jason glanced back. Nico was cradling the wings and holding them close. Piper took up the rear and was looking around for any threats.

Working together, the three had taken down the magical barrier that surrounded the wings. It had taken the use of shadow travel, flying, and a little bit of charmspeak from Piper that required them to wake Trevor up and question him. Piper looked like she had enjoyed punching him in the face again. From there, they had shadow traveled out of the mansion and began to make their way back to the meeting place. Their walk took about an hour, and they had been jumpy the entire time.

"The last ones, actually." Isabella corrected. Jason moved his head and saw that Isabella was sitting against the back of the limousine and smoking her own cigarette. Reyna was sitting next to Isabella, but her head was lolled forward like she was asleep. "Hylla is already back at the base. She took a couple of bullets to the chest, but she'll be fine."

"What happened?" Piper asked. Isabella waved her hand and shook Reyna's shoulder. Reyna's eyes snapped open, and she slowly looked at them. "Are you okay, Reyna? I'm sorry that I left you behind."

"I told you to," Reyna muttered. Blood pretty much covered her, which did concern Jason. "We should get back."

"Agreed," Isabella said. She stood and helped Reyna stand. "How many guards did you take out all by yourself? It was impressive."

Reyna only shook her head, refusing to answer. Isabella frowned and helped Reyna into the limousine. Piper quickly helped as well. Jason waited until Isabella stepped back towards them, and he spoke softly "What happened to her?"

"Nothing she can't handle," Isabella answered. Jason gave her a look. Isabella sighed. "Reyna's been through worse. She's just shaken from shock and blood loss. The sooner we get back to base the better."

"She doesn't seem okay," Nico commented. He was watching in concern. Jason noticed how close Reyna and Nico seemed to have gotten. It was good that he had another friend, even if it was a pirate. Jason didn't distrust the pirates, but he would be crazy not to be hesitant of them.

"It's shock and blood loss," Isabella insisted. She motioned with her head and got into the limousine. Reyna was laid out on one of the seats and had fallen right back to sleep. "All that blood isn't her own."

"You don't seem that concerned," Piper noted. She was sitting near Reyna and trying to clean the blood off of her face. Jason sat by Piper and the pirate. Reyna's eyes drifted open before closing once again.

"I'm not going to baby her," Isabella stated. She put out her cigarette and flicked it away. Isabella sat near them and looked out the window. Nico moved to sit next to Jason, and when he closed the door, the limousine took off. "Let me see the wings."

Nico was still cradling the wings, but he slowly handed them over. Isabella cradled them like they were a valuable treasure. Jason studied the wings quietly. The dark rainbow design on it seemed to call him in, and he could sense the power. Part of him expected the wings to just take off and fly out the window.

Isabella examined the wings and nodded. She spoke, "We're going to need to reattach these. Then it will be time to set sail for your friend. Won't be for a couple of days, though. Just make sure to not get impatient."

"Why would it be a few days?" Piper asked. She looked up in concern. Isabella sighed and grabbed her purse. She started to pull out wallets, separating cash and cards.

"We're going to need supplies, and we can't set sail without a captain or a quartermaster, Isabella said with a motion of her head. Upon hearing her title, Reyna shifted slightly. She didn't wake though. Jason looked out the window.

If it was up to Jason, he would have taken Piper and a Pegasus and flew all the way to Calypso's island. Nothing would stop them. Instead, they were stuck playing a waiting game with pirates. Jason sighed softly and rested his head against the window.

Piper moved closer to him and leaned on him. She spoke, "I miss him too."

"I'm worried about him," Jason admitted. "I know he's safe on that island, but how hurt was he? With Festus destroyed, he can't be doing too well. I just wish he was already back. I miss him."

"I do too," Piper said softly. "That's why we have to work with the pirates. They're doing their best, Jason. They had no reason to help us, but they are anyway. We just have to trust them."

"Yeah," Jason said. He sighed and lowered his voice. "Romans were always taught that pirates were evil. Do you remember Gwen? Her mother was killed by pirates. The only ones I have ever met have been pure evil, but suddenly, these pirates have appeared in our lives."

"Reyna tried to steal the Argo II, and she tried to do the same for the Athena Parthenos. Then money turned her around, and she helped us. Money is the only reason that her and Hylla agreed to help us. How long until someone offers more?" Jason asked.

"They're not like that," Piper whispered. Jason glanced at Isabella, but the pirate was still digging through wallets. "I think they are good people deep down. Reyna saw dogs getting abused, and she rescued them. They're also Romans. If they are half as loyal as you are, greed isn't going to win out."

"You're right," Jason said. He sighed and pulled Piper closer. Jason kissed her forehead. The two of them settled against each other, and they both fell into a peaceful sleep.
