Right after the festival ended, the make-up classes started right away the next day. Due to her constant spacing-out during the past four months, Lisanna had lots of make-up classes to attend. Of course, one of them was Natsu's class.

Unluckily for her, Natsu's make-up class was the first thing this morning.

Lisanna sat on her bed in silence. She had a somewhat decent sleep last night, but her body felt so heavy today. Well, she did sleep late yesterday. The truth about Natsu's marriage burdened her, but she didn't feel as miserable as yesterday's afternoon. Maybe because she cried her heart out yesterday, letting out all of her pain.

But… Was she ready to face Natsu today? Lisanna knew all she could think about when she saw him would be his marriage to Lucy. Could she handle another wave of pain when she saw him?

Lisanna's brain went back to yesterday when she unconsciously looked around to find Natsu, only to scold herself the next second. She didn't find him though, and Lisanna knew he was off with Lucy because she couldn't see her either. Another pang of pain struck her heart and Lisanna had to take a few deep breaths to calm herself down so she wouldn't break in tears.

She managed to get a hold of herself yesterday, but could she do it again today? Absence wasn't an option either because she really needed those make-up classes.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." Lisanna grumbled while smacking herself lightly on the head. "Why did I space out at the beginning!"

Lisanna let out a little groan. Next time, if there's a guy who caught her attention, she should really check his background first before developing a crush on him.

"Lisanna." Mirajane knocked her door gently. "Are you up? You have make-up classes today, right?"

"Y—yeah!" Lisanna answered. "I'll get down as soon as possible!"

"Okay. Breakfast's ready." Mirajane walked away.

Lisanna let out another sigh. Right. There's no way out of this. All she could do was focusing on Natsu's lectures instead of his face and his voice.

"Good morning, class." Natsu grinned as he eyed the students in his class. It was as packed as usual. His eyes scanned to find Lisanna and was surprised to see her sitting at the back of the class. And she didn't even lift her head to see him.

Natsu let out a small smile, knowing she would be fine.

"'Kay, open your textbooks." Natsu said and his students groaned.

Natsu went straight to explaining and Lisanna found herself swayed by his voice. She quickly mentally slapped herself, though. She forced her eyes to stare at her textbook and her brain to focus on Natsu's explanations. Whenever she felt like Natsu's voice was swaying her, Lisanna quickly reminded herself of Natsu's marital status.

After 10 minutes of inward struggling, Lisanna found it was getting easier for herself to focus on the class. Although she couldn't bear to lift her head to face Natsu. Not yet. She still needed time to strengthen her heart.

The make-up classes went on for a week and Lisanna grew better each day to focus on her studies. It still wasn't easy to look at Natsu right on his face, but Lisanna wasn't getting swayed by his voice during his classes either. At least that's a development for herself.

The school bell rang and Lisanna stretched her hands while her friends groaned relievedly. They just finished their make-up English test, the last test of this week. They had also checked their tests on spot by switching their answer sheets with the students beside them.

"Okay, that's it for today." Natsu smiled. "Good work, guys. Don't forget your summer homework, and I'll see you again after holiday is over. Have a pleasant vacation, guys!"

The students cheered and rushed out of the class immediately. Natsu stayed behind for awhile to tidy up the test papers.

"Lisanna, do you want to go home now?" Wendy asked.

"Go ahead, Wendy." Lisanna smiled.

Wendy nervously glanced at Natsu, but she nodded back at Lisanna. She noticed how Lisanna changed after Natsu visited their class-café. Lisanna wasn't crazy of chasing him around like she was used to and had even gotten better in focusing on her studies, especially during the classes. Something must have happened to her, something Lisanna hadn't told her yet.

"Okay. I'll wait for you at the gate." Wendy gently smiled and walked away.

Leaving Lisanna and Natsu alone in class. A somewhat awkward silence engulfed them.

"Aren't you going home?" Natsu broke the silence first.

"Eh? Ugh… Uhm… Y—yeah." Lisanna fidgeted in her seat.

Natsu stared at her in silence, downing another wave of awkward atmosphere around them. Lisanna shut her eyes tight and stood up.

"I'm sorry, sensei!" she bowed down.

Natsu smiled. "It's okay. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth right away, too."

"N—no!" Lisanna lifted her head and shook it lightly. Her breath hitched when she saw Natsu's smiling face and she quickly averted her gaze away. "I—I understand…"

"Thank you for understanding, Lisanna." Natsu said.

"I… I hope you and Lucy-sensei are blessed with happiness…"

"We will. Thank you, Lisanna."

"A—and don't worry about it. I—I will keep it as a secret."

Natsu lightly nodded. "Thank you, Lisanna."

"T—then, I'm going home now!" Lisanna bowed down. She grabbed her bag and dashed out of the class.

Natsu smiled at her running figure and a few seconds later, Gray and Levy burst into the class.

"Natsu! We heard from Lu-chan!"

"Lisanna's off your back now?"

"Hey." Natsu laughed upon seeing his friends.

"From Lu-chan's story, she seemed pretty chill, eh?" Levy let out a relieved sigh. "I'm glad it ends well for both of you."

"Where's Lucy anyway?" Natsu looked around. "She's not with you two?"

"She's helping Laki-sensei with recycling the brochures." Levy answered. "Are you going to Warrod Sequen's Garden Heaven tomorrow?"

"Tonight." Natsu said.

"Are you staying there for the rest of the holiday?" Gray asked.

"Nope." Natsu shook his head. "We'll be staying for a few days only. Gotta save up as many as we can, dude."

"Say," Gray leaned on the board. "have you ever thought of having children with Lucy?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Natsu raised an eyebrow.

"That's why you're saving money by not staying too long at the garden?" Levy asked.

"Yeah." Natsu nodded. "Besides, Lucy likes it better at home."

Levy let out a dreamy sigh. "I wonder how marriage life feels."

"Awesome." Natsu grinned. "As long as you're spending it with the one you love the most."

"Man, I still can't believe the two of you are married." Gray smirked back. "But I'm glad you two found each other."

"Enjoy your vacation then, Natsu." Levy patted Natsu's shoulder. "Don't forget to bring some souvenirs back."

"Natsu, I'm all done." Lucy clasped their suitcase which was lying on the bed.

"'Kay, wait a minute." Natsu tapped his phone and waited for a few seconds. His phone then vibrated once and he shoved it into his pocket. "Okay, I've booked our train ticket."

"Are we going straight to the station?" Lucy asked as Natsu took their suitcase.

"Do you wanna do something else first?" Natsu asked back.

"Can we have our dinner before we departed?" Lucy grinned.

Natsu laughed. "Sure. It's still three hours away before our departure anyway."

The two of them went down and Lucy took her last round at the house to check everything. Natsu fished out his phone and called a cab as Lucy came out from the kitchen.

"The cab will be here in 10 minutes." Natsu put his phone back into his pocket. "Man, maybe we should buy a car? So we can go to anywhere with more convenience?"

"We don't really need it right now, do we?" Lucy asked back. "Besides, buying a car needs lots of money, Natsu."

"Perhaps we can buy a second-hand car?" Natsu offered. "Aw, Luce, I have my driving license but I cannot use it!"

Lucy giggled. "Let me think about it and I'll let you know some time later."

"I have this thought for a while…" Natsu's eyes drifted off to Lucy's stomach.

Lucy instinctively crossed her hands in front of her stomach. "What? Don't you dare say I'm fat."

"No." Natsu chuckled. "I just think that maybe we need a car… There's no way I'll let you ride in a cab when you're pregnant… Besides, having a car is quite convenient."

"Hold up," Lucy blinked in confusion. "What did you say? When I'm pregnant?"

A blush softly crept onto Natsu's cheeks. "Well… Y—yeah… I—I mean, we're married and it's not exactly the first time I thought about it…"

"Natsu," Lucy softly called, bringing Natsu's attention back to her face. "didn't we agree to wait for a little longer?"

"Y—yeah." Natsu gulped down. "Right. Sorry."

"Hey, you don't have to apologize," Lucy softly caressed her husband's cheek. "it's not like you're the only one who has the thought, you know."

Natsu raised an eyebrow. "You mean… You thought about this too?"

"Sometimes." Lucy admitted shyly, her cheeks were light pink. "But we're still young and I don't think I'm ready for it… Both financially and mentally speaking."

Natsu's gaze softened and he hugged her tight. He planted a kiss on top of her head. "Just let me know when you're ready."

Lucy slapped Natsu's chest out of embarrassment.

Natsu laughed and hugged his wife even tighter. He let out a content sigh. "Just so you know Luce, I'm ready."

"For what?" Lucy asked in confusion.

"Having children with you." Natsu bluntly answered.

Lucy's face exploded into a bright red color. She nestled even deeper into Natsu's chest, burying her embarrassed face in his hold.

"Thinking of seeing a cute girl who looks just like you and with a pink hair like mine or a chubby boy with my face and your beautiful hair do the trick for my mental preparation." Natsu lightly chuckled. "And for financial problems, I'm the husband, remember? It's my job to make sure we're financially ready."

"Hey, you're not a money-making machine!" Lucy protested and pulled her head away a bit from Natsu's chest, slightly pouting. "We promised to do everything together!"

"And we will." Natsu kissed her forehead. "I'm just saying that it's my responsibility, so you don't have to think too much about it."

"Alright." Lucy huffed and buried her face back to Natsu's chest.
