Here's a little extra update since I missed Friday's. I think there's only going to be one more part of this and then I have a very exciting one shot I've been wanting to make for days now. This one's a little more fluffy so I hope you guys like it!

Marinette woke up that morning, the sun peaked through the window, showing a beautiful sunrise she could just barely glimpse over the window sill. Her neck and back were sore from the awkward sleeping position.
The captain was nowhere to be seen, the door was cracked open. Her eyes widened. She checked the room once more and took a deep breath.
Marinette took her chance to escape. She pulled her body from the tub with all her strength. She landed on the floor with a loud, wet thud. She cringed at the stinging in her arms. She hoped no one had heard her. She crawled her way towards the door over the rough floor. Her tail was surprisingly light outside of the water. She had pulled herself about halfway when the lower half of her body became lighter, her body flailing wildly. She looked back and her tail was gone.
In its place was a pair of legs. She screamed in shock, rubbing them. Adrien ran into the room and stared at the naked girl, eyes going wide, a blush dusting his cheeks.
She tried to escape him, but her legs didn't work. She wasn't sure how to use them just yet. She was surprised when the man called Adrien covered her shoulders with his jacket.
"Cover yourself," he looked away. She didn't understand what he meant. He didn't seem angry she had tried to escape.
"Captain! Was that a woman?" One of his crew members yelled through the door excitedly. They were repeatedly banging on it, hooting and hollering. Marinette shied away, closer to the tank.
"Of course not," he chuckled dryly, locking the door. Nino ushered them away with some excuse. Adrien silently thanked his friend.
He turned back to the mermaid. "Don't you realize I'm a man, you can't just prance around naked," He sighed, crouching down to her level. She didn't seem to understand his words.
"Since when did you know about these?" He pointed at her legs, trying to change the subject and draw his mind away from the fact she was nude.
She shook her head, so obviously she understood him. He put out a hand for her to grab, she took it, trying to stand. She fell into his arms, her legs giving out.
Adrien steeled himself before picking her up, not making eye contact. She made no noise as he laid her on the bed. She didn't quite trust the man in front of her but she knew the other men outside that door wouldn't show her as much kindness.
He rummaged through a chest, pulling out a pair of pants and a white shirt. He laid them in her hands.
"You put these on," he motioned with his hands, trying to explain. She looked up at him and eyed the clothes he was wearing, she lifted the garments. She stood up, legs wobbling but she managed to stay upright. The towel falling, as she began to dress.
"Good lord," Adrien turned away covering his face. She had no sense of shame. Ehe heard some stumbling as she fell back onto the bed since her sense of balance wasn't right yet. He peaked and she had finally gotten the clothes on, much to his relief.
The clothes were baggy on her but they were better than nothing. She sat on the bed, looking up at him guiltily.
"I'm not angry with you," he knelt down in front of her. "I can understand why you'd want to leave but we've just got to find the right time."
Adrien knew if anyone on the crew other than himself or Nino saw her they'd want to sell her or worse. He knew it was selfish to keep her with him but he couldn't explain the attraction. When she was like this she looked like any normal human.
The real question was how was he going to keep her from trying to escape. "You understand it's not safe to leave this room right?" She nodded. He smiled at her.
"Good, now how about I teach you how to use those." Marinette looked down at her fresh pair of legs.
He put out a hand for her to take, she gently placed a hand in his. Adrien helped her stand, holding her arm for support. Marinette was still trying to work through the fact that she could have legs. She always marveled at humans and how they could move on land. She wasn't sure how it worked but she wasn't complaining.
In Adrien's eyes, she looked like a newborn deer trying to stay up. She grasped onto his arms for dear life as he began to walk forward. He went as slow as possible walking from one side of the room to the other. She got the hang of it quickly. He let go of her arms and she looked at him with a worried expression. He reassured her before walking a few steps backward. She kept eye contact with him as she began to move forward on her own. He laughed to himself, he felt like a parent teaching their child to walk.
Marinette got excited as she reached a few steps from him. Her celebration was shortlived as she fell forward onto him, both of them falling to the ground. He caught her, protecting her from the fall. Her head landed on his chest and she looked at him worriedly.
His hands were gripping her waist, which she didn't seem to notice, but Adrien did. She giggled and it was the most delicate and beautiful sound he'd ever heard. For being kidnapped her situation wasn't so bad. She stood up, holding out a hand to him this time. He took it and while she wasn't much help as she was much smaller than him he appreciated the gesture. Adrien smiled down at her and she looked up at him blinking innocently. He couldn't help thinking what her voice would sound like. He had heard it a few brief times, but he wanted her to speak.
Nino knocked on the door interrupting their moment. She released his hand and started toward the tub. She made some kind of face to explain what she was doing. No one knew but him that she had legs, and she planned on keeping it that way. He seemed to understand.
Marinette removed the clothes he'd given her, relishing in the remnants of his scent before stepping back into the tub, her tail hanging out the side. Nino pulled Adrien out of the room and she sighed. It was lonely in the room without him.
Mason watched as the captain came out of his quarters. He'd been staying inside quite a lot. He had infiltrated the ship on their last stop on land. He was part of the pirate crew and he knew Captain Adrien was known for discovering riches. Whatever he was hiding in his quarters he would find it.
