Wednesday August 10th 2022

School started for Emmalyn in a couple weeks so today Eddie had plans to take her shopping for her school supplies and clothes. Emmalyn was really excited but Eddie was even more excited, she hadn't been shopping in what felt like years and it didn't even matter it was for a 5 year old.

They got to the mall around 9am, Eddie pushed Scarlett in the stroller and let Emmalyn get a kids cart to put their findings in.

They found a lot of cute stuff that both of them liked and then they found stuff that just Emmalyn liked...Eddie was hoping when they tried it on she would change her mind. She wasn't going to be that mom who said no without letting her give it a chance.

After an hour they got into the biggest changing room they had with the stroller and little cart and all. Eddie let Scarlett out to run around and stretch her legs even though she was surprisingly being very good this whole time. Eddie sat on the seat they had in there while Emmalyn started trying on the clothes. She liked looking in the big mirror at herself, as did Scarlett...

"Scarlett! I can't see!" Em kept telling her.

"Come here baby...look" Eddie took her hand and showed her the other mirror on the back of the door. Of course she didn't like that one though. She went back to Emmalyn's.

"Huh! Mommy!" Emmalyn was getting irritated.

"Em she just likes being around you." Eddie said trying to make her feel important.

"Well I'm too busy to play right now." Emmalyn said with some sass, Eddie laughed to herself at her trying to act so mature.

"Mamama" Scarlett babbled circling around Em clearly clueless she was "busy".

"Mommy!" Emmalyn wanted her away from her.

"Okay, Scarlett come sit with mommy." Eddie grabbed her and sat her on her lap letting her play with her watch she wore.

"That's cute Em!" Eddie said taking notice to the new shirt she put on.

"I like it." Emmalyn told her smiling at herself.

"Well then let's get it! Put it in the cart." Eddie told her, happy it was one she picked out. Scarlett was done with the watch and wanted to get down. Eddie let her and she went over to the door mirror, good she thought.

"Mommy I can't button these." Emmalyn said about the jeans she had on, Eddie reached to help her.

"Ew! Scarlett ew!" Emmalyn shouted drawing attention to her, Eddie looked to see what she was doing.

"Agh! No! Yucky!" Eddie grabbed her to stop her from LICKING the mirror! Eddie didn't even know what to do it's not like she could disinfect her mouth.

"Scarlett if you want something to eat you need to ask mommy." Emmalyn said nonchalantly checking herself out in the jeans Eddie just helped her button.

"That is yucky! No no!" Eddie said knelt down infront if Scarlett with her finger held up at her. She started crying of course. Eddie meant business, but feared the other people in the changing room listening so she pulled out a snack.

"Here Scar, look." Eddie dumped some cheerios on the stroller tray to distract her.

They finished up in the dressing rooms and then made their way to the food court to eat lunch before they went home. Eddie let Emmalyn decide where to eat and she picked subway.

After like 10 minutes they finally were sitting down at a table to eat. Eddie was thinking about to tell Emmalyn she was going to have another sibling hoping she would react positively.

"So Em do you think you're gonna miss playing with Scarlett while you're at school?" Eddie asked trying to bring it up.

"Yeah. Sometimes. I hope she doesn't miss me too much." Emmalyn said eating her little 6 inch hoagie.

"Aww, well I'm sure she's gonna miss you but she'll be excited for when you get home." Eddie told her.

"Maybe one of my friends from preschool can come over and play with her until I come home." Emmalyn said. Eddie could've cried she thought that was so sweet.

"Or...what if mommy and daddy had another baby...?" Eddie asked her, praying for a good reaction. Emmalyn looked at Eddie excited.

"Huh! Yeah!" She was so excited.

"Would you like that?" Eddie smiled in relief.

"Yes!" She shook her head.

"But wait can you tell daddy to make it a brother?" She added with concern. Eddie tried not to laugh.

"Oh honey the babies already in mommy's belly." Eddie said clarifying to her that the deed has already been done.

"Oh. Well I hope its a brother." She told Eddie.

"Well we have to wait and see. Also Em you can't tell anyone mommy's pregnant okay?" Eddie said giving her the eye.

"Is it a secret?" She asked.

"Yes and it's mommy's secret that only I can share alright?" Eddie said, Emmalyn shook her head understanding.

Later that night Jamie got home later then normal, Eddie was in the middle of the girls bath time.

"Hey, sorry I missed the party." He said standing at the doorway watching Eddie.

"Oh hey, you kinda scared me haha." Eddie said.

"Dada." Scarlett said when she saw him.

"Yeah hi honey." He smiled and waved at her.

"Daddy we went shopping today." Emmalyn told him.

"I know, did you get anything good?" Jamie asked. Emmalyn shook her head yes, as Scarlett was done and wanted to get out.

"Hold on Scar." Eddie told her having to wait until Em was done.

"Is she done? I'll get her ready for bed." Jamie offered. He wrapped her in the towel and took her with him to her room.

When Emmalyn was done she went to get dressed and ready for bed, Eddie went in to see Jamie putting a diaper on Scarlett.

"Hey...I ever tell you I really like this shirt on you?" She flirtatiously said standing next to him, running her hand up his back to her hair. He couldn't help but smile about it.

"Oh yeah?" He asked quietly back, blushing. Scarlett ruined the moment by babbling and trying to get up.

"Oh yeah by the way...told Em about the baby." Eddie said.

"And?" Jamie asked worried.

"She's excited. She wants a brother, but she's excited. And I said she can't tell anyone so we'll see..." Eddie told him.

After they got the girls in bed Eddie showed Jamie everything they got today for Em. It was a decent amount of clothes.

"All very nice, how much did you spend?" Jamie asked.

"Huh, Jamie it's my money too..!" Eddie snarked it was the only thing he was probably thinking.

"Babe I'm not being argumentative I'm just curious" Jamie said sincerely.

"Oh...sorry. 115." Eddie told him feeling guilty she bit his head off.

"That's pretty good." Jamie said.

"Yeah I think so. And the girls were both pretty good I was surprised." Eddie said.

"Well good, I'm glad." Jamie said.

"You just look really sexy in that shirt." Eddie said changing the subject randomly smiling at him.

"Ha...yeah?" Jamie flirted back with her and pulled her in for a little make out sesh, she was teasing him like crazy.

"Wait, what happened that you were you late getting home tonight?" Eddie asked stopping.

"Geez Janko you really know how to get me." He laughed caught of guard.

"What do you mean?" She was confused.

"One minute you're teasing the hell out of me and the next you wanna talk about my day busting a gang banger?" He questioned with a laugh.

"Oh I don't know haha, I guess I just want to hear about your day and talk about mine but at the same time I wanna jump on you haha..." she said shrugging her shoulders unsure what she wanted.

"Alright how bout this..." Jamie started to say, he grabbed and held Eddies hands infront if him. She looked up and him waiting to hear what he was going to propose.

"We take 5/10 minutes, talk about our days and then I'll get a shower. When I'm done we can get into bed and do whatever you want." Jamie said smirking.

"Okay...but, can I just come in the shower with you..." she said shyly.

"That bad huh?" Jamie asked her smiling.

"Mhm." Eddie bit her lip and blushed. Jamie couldn't help but laugh and shake his head. They sat down on the bed and talked about their day like he said they would and then hurried off to the shower to suffice her needs.

Thoughts on the girls shopping day? Eddie did a pretty good job at managing I think! And Jamie seems to be enjoying Eddies high libido for the time being.
