PART 2
Chapter 2x14: Escalating Troubles
Scott and Nate were at Melissa's work bringing her food, even Nate didn't live with them anymore he knew how much Melissa liked the food that he made, so every time Scott came around to ask if he could cook for her, he always agreed, this time around he go with Scott to her work to see her because he hasn't since he moved with Stiles so Isaac could stay in Scott's.
Melissa was happy to see the silver haired werewolf, thanking him for still cooking for her and assures him that he still is family to her, while Scott was helping a patient to taking her pain Ethan came screaming for help at the hospital with a pained Danny in his arms making Scott, Melissa and Nate rush to the scene.
"What did you do to him?" - said Scott almost growling at Ethan
"Nothing, he said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing, but it just kept getting worse" - said Ethan before Danny suddenly vomited all over the floor
"Mistletoe" - said Nate surprised
Scott and Nate helped to bring Danny to a room where Melissa told them to with Ethan following behind them.
"Can you three please go back to the waiting room?" - said Melissa
"Where are the nurses and the doctors? Where is everyone?" - said Ethan freaking out
"It's a full house tonight, they're tending to other patients" - explained Melissa
"Okay, well, mom, how can we help?" - asked Scott
"Honey, you can't, his lungs are collapsed, his heart is being pushed against his chest cavity, so-" - started to explain Melissa
"He's gonna die?" - asked Nate in shock and worried
"No…no, he's not, Scott, you grab the tape, Nate you grab those scissors and cut his shirt open, okay" - ordered Melissa making the boys do as she told them and then Danny seemed to choke making Melissa and the teens panic
"Mom, he's not breathing" - said Scott worried
"I know, I know, Okay" - said Melissa taking a large syringe while Danny seemed to stop breathing - "Okay, here we go" - she said then the jabs the syringe into Danny's left pectoral and after a couple seconds Danny was breathing again
"Thank you" - said Danny in a weak tone
"No problem" - said Melissa and turned to the teens seeing her son in awe looking at the scene - "what?" - She asked
"That was awesome" - said Scott with a proud smile
"It was no problem, you know? I mean, it wasn't a big deal" - said Melissa
Melissa told the teens to go outside and that she will take care of Danny, she hugged Scott and Nate again thanking them for the food before letting them go.
"So, you rebound pretty quick" - said Nate giving Ethan the side-eye
"I know you're not gonna believe me, but I didn't do anything" - said Ethan
"All I know is that the minute that you got here, you went right for Nate and your brother went for Lydia, but then after Nate and you broke up you go to Danny and he comes in here in that state" - said Scott
"We're not gonna hurt him" - said Ethan
"Why should we believe you?" - said Nate
"Because we knew one of them was gonna a be important to you and now we know it's Lydia" - said Ethan looking sadly at Nate and then turning to Scott
"I'm slightly offended by this narrative" - said Nate with his arms crossed
A car started arrive the parking lot of the hospital slowly crashing with another car, the three teens jumped to see what happened, when Scott opened the door nobody was in and he just showed Ethan and Nate a death moth, taking it as a signal they go back inside to tell Melissa and she called the sheriff.
"So whose car is this?" - asked Mr. Stilinski
"Dr. Hilyard, the on-call doctor, the E.R. attending is the one that never made it in" - explained Melissa
"Let me just focus on getting your story first, all right?" - Said Mr. Stilinski while Melissa agreed - "Boys, give us a second" - he said to the teens making them back off
"These are definitely sacrifices, right?" - asked Nate
"Yeah, it's the one Deaton Healers" - answered Stiles
"What about Danny? He threw up mistletoe, that's not a coincidence and if he hadn't been with Ethan, he probably would've died, Danny's not a healer, I..." - started to ramble Scott
"Guys" - called out Nate making them both turn to look at him while he was hearing Melissa and Mr. Stilinski - "they found a body" - he said
"Well, let me see what more information I can get from my dad and talk about it tomorrow" - said Stiles to Scott
"Yeah, see you guys" - said Scott walking to his bike
"See ya" - said Nate while he walked to the jeep with Stiles
"So…how do you feel about Ethan being with Danny now?" - asked Stiles while entering the jeep with Nate
"I think that's the last thing we should worry about now" - said Nate
"I'm just trying to see if you are ok" - said Stiles while starting the jeep
"We weren't really together, so I think I'm fine, the only problem is that it seems like I will not get more information from him" - said Nate
"I think it's for the best, it was dangerous for you to be around him at the first place" - said Stiles while driving
"Yeah well, I'm back to useless then" - said Nate
"What are you talking about?" - asked Stiles
"Me doing that seemed like I was finally doing something that could actually help us and now I'm back to zero, nothing, nada" - said Nate
"Hey" - called out Stiles who took the chance of the red light to grab Nate's hand and making the werewolf turn to look at him - "I know you still feel guilty about Erica, but you are doing all that is in your hands and that is more than enough, ok?" - He said
"It doesn't feel like it" - said Nate letting out a sight
"Well, trust me, I can see it, the rest sees it too and I bet Erica is seeing it too" - said Stiles without taking his eyes off Nate
"Thanks Stiles" - said Nate
"Wanna buy some food and go to our spot to eat?" - asked Stiles putting his hands back in the wheel as he started to drive again when the light switched to green
"What about if I cook something good at the house and you finally show me "Stars Wars"?" - asked Nate making Stiles smile like a kid in a candy store
Next day things escalated quickly when Scott's boss was taken as the next target of the Darach for sacrifice and the teens where trying to figure out what to do, so their best option was Lydia to try to find answers since she is drawn to the supernatural.
"Let her go Cora" - said Nate as he saw the younger Hale holding Lydia
"What are you both doing here?" - asked Cora rolling her eyes letting Lydia go
"We are gonna get answers with her help" - said Stiles
While proceeding to do different thing with Lydia to see if she could sense something, a Ouija board, Deaton's keys, but nothing and she was annoyed telling Stiles and the two werewolves that she wasn't a psychic, then Stiles give her a pen to do automatic writing to see if that could bring something out of her and she started to draw.
"Lydia, what are you doing? What...what the hell is that?" - asked Stiles
"A tree" - said Lydia uncared about Stiles exasperation
"A tr…Lydia, you're supposed to be writing words, like in sentences, something like a location, something that would tell us where he is" - said Stiles
"Well, maybe you should've said that" - said Lydia
"Aren't you supposed to be a genius?" - asked Nate annoyed at her uncaring attitude
"Genius? Yes, Psychic, no" - answered Lydia to Nate before turning to Stiles - "honestly, I don't know why you're even bothering with me anyway, I mean, especially since it's obvious you should be talking to Danny" - she explained to him
"What? Why Danny?" - asked Nate
"Because, last night, he was a target but it wasn't a sacrifice" - explained Lydia while making the teens walk out of the classroom
"But isn't Danny still in the hospital?" - asked Cora
"Yeah, that's where we're going right now" - answered Stiles - "I will sneak into Danny's room with Scott's mom help and see through his stuff" - he explained
"You aren't going alone, I will go inside with you" - said Nate
"But-" - started to say Stiles
"Don't take it the wrong way darling" - interrupted Nate - "but you got the spying skills of Agent 86, so I'm going in, no discussion" - he added with a smirk
"Fine" - scoffed Stiles while Cora and Lydia eyed at both boys interaction weirdly
A/N: Ohhh...we are one chapter closer to the big reveal of Part 2 and my body is ready for that chapter and and see you guys reaction, hope you guys like this one and get a little reference I made, this time not so much of a movie reference but a singer reference...I don't like that singer so much but the reference is funny...I think.
