My mistake. I thought Megalith's were light monsters but their really earth monsters. Well all and all it was either their light monsters in the previous chapter or I make up a Lumenize card for Earth monsters. Thank you readers for the viewing and CuddlyChristina.

"More like...seeing people make a mockery of, well, humans. He likes to parade around clowns, jesters, unlucky guys, guys who were tricked, and people who don't know the difference between a mouse and a scorpion. In other words, where are places you like to go after school, Jounochi?"

Jounochi wondered why Nuo was talking to him like he was a dog being asked if he wanted to go outside, but he was happy to nod his head yes. So after school they went to the funniest entertainment Domino City had to offer: the rejected former pro duelists trying to make money back by doing jobs that weren't even close to being as cool as a detective.

"Oddjobs and comedy clubs are basically where I get my fill after school. I dunno why you asked me such a question..." he said.

"I'm just curious where I should be looking so I can find Aethba and send him back to the heavens...or to the underworld where he most likely belongs."

"I've heard people say that Aethba frequently pops up at conventions and other otaku-related events." Anzu told him.

"The real Aethba or some minimum wage actor pretending to be him? I'm looking for the real one."

"I'm pretty sure it's the real Aethba. Not some crappy phony." Honda told him.

"Honda, you slow-thinking genius. Problem is...do any of you have any bus fare or transportation because it's already past 5 and that place is far away."

Yugi looked over at his friends, and then himself, before he finally reached a solution.

"I know a shortcut there. It shouldn't take us more than half an hour and we can get there by foot."

"Like what, wishing for time to move slower so a half hour car ride can just be a thirty minute walk?" Nuo joked.

"No. There's just a lot of gaps between buildings in New Domino City. We run through the ones that lead to the other side, the direction the park is in, and we'll get there no problem."

"Alright then, sounds like a plan to me." Nuo replied, nodding his approval.

The run was exhausting after three minutes of it, so Nuo attempted a joke.

"What did the white cop say to the dark skin man in a bunny outfit?"

"This is the twenty first century, Nuo. No one makes racist jokes." Anzu said.

"Oh...right." Nuo replied, letting out an embarrassed chuckle. "Do you think we need to take a break, or keep going?" Yugi asked.

"I run all the time so I can keep going. By the way, Anzu, the punchline is exactly what you said about it being the twenty-first century."

She stopped running as did her three friends.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Anzu asked.

"Never mind, I forgot how stiff you are and how you can't take any jokes." Nuo joked.

Anzu rolled her eyes, much to Nuo's delight as he chuckled. "Let's get moving!" she finally said.

After more frequent panting, sweating, and sore feet only felt in a race or some kid running away from home...they made it to the show, and Aethba was on stage.

"Hello ladies, gentlemen, and young ones because you matter too...to my comedy show. My first guest, Camille."

Nuo's jaw dropped when he heard Camille's name. It didn't take long for her to emerge in a golden dress on the stage.

"Thank you, daddy. So, how many of you kids like reading books? Rhetorical question, none of you. But did you know there's more fun things to do with books than just open them? It's called counting the pages to the end."

Camille's joke was kinda bad, but she made up for it by putting a book on her head and doing a little ballerina dance.

The crowd laughed, but Nuo wasn't, as he was watching the show with a look of shock in his eyes.

Most audience don't speak when a show is going on, but what Nuo said was directly towards Camille.

"You went from a gang leader to an actress."

This caught her attention as Camille's eyes went over to Nuo, who stood there in a mix of shock and anger. "Do I know you?" she asked curtly.

Nuo let out a strange kind of laugh, one a comedian would give to another comedian.

"Of course you know me; we took out some hackers, remember?" he asked.

"No, doesn't ring a bell. Now be quiet, although parents want to hear about the dangers of not updating your computer...kids just want to hear a story with a happy but unfulfilling beginning, a sad but turning point middle, and a happy-esque ending only their imaginations can believe."

Nuo just looked at her with a stern expression.

While she was doing her show, Nuo decided to go back and confront Aethba.

As he snuck onto the stage without getting caught, he spoke to Aethba by asking, "What did you do with the Camille I knew from recently?"

"I adopted her, great detective. She is now going to help me defeat you and restore animals into my Castle of Evolution. But first, we want to entertain children."

"Entertain? That's what you really do in your spare time, huh?" Nuo asked, crossing his arms as he briefly snarled.

"I'm not a wrathful god, I thought I made that abundantly clear. I'm ample capable enough to bring joy and bring laughter, but gods hate humans and the god you worship is the name of a mortal who died several thousand years ago."

"But it seems to me that you have something much darker going on." Nuo told Aethba.

"All that matters is I'll beat your friends, then you because I'm stronger than I was last time while you are stuck with a lame maid deck." Aethba smirked.

"Ooh, I have changed my deck." Nuo the cynical detective did something unexpected. He took out a linen mobcap in the shape of a maid crown and placed it on his head. "I'm more a maid than any other Dragonmaid."

The crowd laughed at how strange and funny Nuo was, though Aethba was clearly not amused.

"I see you gave up on being cynical. You look less like a maid and more like a transgender princess. However, I'll allow Camille to duel you first."

Nuo felt that to be some sort of insult, before Camille asked, "Don't you have your duel disk with you?"

Nuo answered taking a ball out, and little by little he moved the ball around his body. After doing this five times, he finally twirled a duel disk out from behind him. He latched it on and activated it.

"Let's duel!" The rivals shouted in unison.

"I'll start first," Nuo said. "I'll summon Dragonmaid Parlor (500)."

Parlor was a dragonmaid wearing a simple maid's uniform, and long green hair in twin braids.

"And since she was summoned, I can send a Dragonmaid card from my deck to the graveyard. I'll send Dragonmaid Changeover to the graveyard. After that, I return Parlor to my hand to add Changeover to my hand."

Changeover worn a uniform that was more professional and lot less fancy compared to Parlor's, and was a blond with red scaled skin.

"Now I activate Dragonmaid Changeover. I fuse my Dragonmaid Parlor with Totem Dragon to summon House Dragonmaid (3000/3000)."

In Dragonmaid Parlor's place was now the House Dragonmaid. Nuo kneeled down and pet House Dragonmaid's tail. Despite being a hologram, she blushed by his hands.

"I set one card facedown and end my turn."

Camille drew. The Camille Nuo knew would make a comment about how a big monster is just...a big ass, that she could defeat easily. This Camille...she was playing slowly and with no malice in her voice.

"I activate Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen. Once per turn, if I control no monsters, I can special summon a fairy monster from my hand. I special summon Malasyian Shining Angel (1400/1100)."

Malaysian Shining Angel was a dark-skinned woman with gold angel wings, as well as donning a flowing gold dress, similar to the one Camille wore.

"And since I summoned my Shining Angel, I can add another one from my deck to my hand." Camille added a card. "Now I activate the continous spell card Malasyian Duplication. I can special summon as many copies of the same Malasyian monster from my hand. I special summon two Malasyian Shining Angels."

True to her words, two more Shining Angels appeared on the field.

"Normally I'm not limited to using their effects to add other Malasyian Shining Angels to my hand, but the rules state only three copies of the same card are allowed so I don't get to search. However, I can tribute all three of my angels to summon..." Nuo got to see a glance of that joy Camille feels hurting others. "Malasyian The Winged Dragon of RA!"

"Are you crazy?! That thing is too big for this building!" Nuo shouted.

Aethba simply snapped his fingers and everyone—the kids, the gang, Camille, Nuo, and himself were on a big cliff with a vast sea near them.

"Fine then. Allow us to play in a much more reasonable setting." he told Nuo. Excluding Aethba, Nuo, Camille, and Nuo's friends, everyone else started panicking.

Now that they were not in that building, Ra appeared full figured and roaring like an elder dragon. House Dragonmaid was flinching, but kept her composure. Luckily for her, Nuo had a plan.

"I discard Dragonmaid Tinkhec. I target one Dragonmaid on my field, increase its ATK by 2000!"

"That was a stupid move. Now your House Dragonmaid loses 2000 ATK (1000). And my Winged Dragon of Ra's effect activates: I send cards from my deck to the graveyard equal to the number of different types of monsters used to tribute summon it, so I send one card."

After she had sent one of her cards, a strong aura surged from her graveyard the moment the card went into the black rectangle.

"I sent Malasyian Obelisk the Tormentor. In an abridged way, my monster gains 4000 ATK!"

The big yellow dragon roared in triumph gaining ATK three thousand points more than Nuo's only monster.

"Winged Dragon of Ra, attack House Dragonmaid!"

The monster was surging a giant golden orb it was about to destroy House Dragonmaid with.

"I activate my facedown, Reverse Trap. This card switches gaining ATK to losing ATK and losing ATK to gaining ATK. In Layman's terms, since my House Dragonmaid lost 2000 ATK from your card, she gains 2000 now (5000)."

"Winged Dragon of Ra is immune to card effects other than a Malasyian card. That being said, I activate the quick-play card Malasyian Kendo Spirit. When a Malasyian monster battles, its ATK becomes the same as the monster it battles (5000)."

House Dragonmaid prepped her weapon, ready to strike Winged Dragon of Ra.

The two clashed, both exploding in a magnificent hologram effect that spread past Nuo and Camille. They were covered, completely shrouded by heat, and in both their eyes they saw a white room but with a different Asian woman giving birth with a Caucasian male standing next to her.

"What's going on? Where am I?" Nuo asked, checking his surroundings.

"Your just in a memory lapse of your friend Camille. This happens to be her very first memory, and it goes all downhill from here."

The newly made mother waited until the newly made father left the room. Then she smiled.

"Your going to keep me close to your father. Your going to help me find his secret plan."

The infant Camille was very unaware of her words, as she was unable to speak due to her infancy.

Camille at her own age saw the doctors try very hard to to revive baby Nuo's mother. All Nuo got was a few words from her he couldn't understand, and then she died.

Both Nuo and Camille returned to the present.

They stared at each other in simultaneous surprise, wonder and shock.

Their minds were processing the interracialness of the others parents. What brought them out of their stupor were their graveyard and their hand. Camille acted first.

"When my monster is destroyed by battle, I can add the Malasyian monster I chose to gain ATK off of back to my hand."

"Let's see..." she said before looking into her graveyard.

She revealed the tank of her deck, Malasyian Obelisk the Tormentor.

"I end my turn."

Nuo drew for his turn.

"I summon Nurse Dragonmaid in Attack Mode."

Nurse Dragonmaid, upon appearing on the field, had a syringe that was more combat-related than nursing-related.

"And since she was summoned, I can special summon a level 4 or lower Dragonmaid from my graveyard. I special summon Dragonmaid Parlor."

Dragonmaid Parlor, the parlor mascot, also showed up alongside her fellow dragonmaid comrade.

"And since I summoned her, I can send a Dragonmaid card from my deck to the graveyard. I send Dragonmaid Ernus. Enter Battle Phase...activate my Nurse and Parlor's effects; chain 1 Nurse and chain 2 Parlor, add them both to my hand to special summon two Dragonmaid's from my graveyard-respectfully give up Nurse for Ernus and Parlor for Tinkhec. Arise, dragons."

Ernus and Tinkhec would then replace the two dragonmaids in their place.

"Ernus, you attack Camille first. Pink Spiral-"

"I activate Malasyian Shining Angel's effect from the graveyard: I banish three copies of him from the graveyard and send the top card of my deck to the graveyard. If it's a Malasyian monster, I special summon it."

she banished her three angels. She sent a card to the graveyard. The moment it reached the graveyard, it shined brightly.

"I special summon Malasyian Soul of Purity and Light (2000/1800)."

Malaysian Soul of Purity and Light was an ethereal woman clad in a flowing white dress, with long green hair.

"And during the battle phase, all your monsters lose 300 ATK."

"Except that's not enough to save it." Nuo retorted. "Ernus, attack Soul of Purity. Purple Spiral Fire!"

The pink dragon breathed in and seethed a breath of fire, engulfing a crying Soul of Purity and Light. At last, she exploded.

Camille: 3700

"Now Dragonmaid Tinkhec, attack her directly!"

Tinkhec had carried with a pair of scythes as weapons. She charged for Camille, before swiping at her with several slashes of both scythes.

Camille: 1000

"And with that I end my turn. There would be more they can do, but these girls have to wait."

Camille drew. She was low on Life Points and only had Obelisk The Tormentor as the other card in her hand.

"I activate Malasyian Draw. I draw two cards and then reveal two cards in my hand. If they are cards with the same name, I keep the cards I drew. If I don't have two cards in my hand, than I send my whole hand to the graveyard."

She drew two cards from the top of her deck.

"It's going to take..." Nuo held off in the profanity's when dozens of kids lucky enough to have parents were watching. Orphan kids were desansitized to swearing. "B.T luck to get two of the same monsters."

"Well I did." She showed him two Fairy monsters. "And with Valhalla Hall of the fallen, I can special summon one from my hand. Come forth, Malasyian Venus (1600/0)."

Malaysian Venus appeared similarly to the Venus of Roman mythology, except instead of bubbles, there was lava around her.

"With her special ability: I can pay five hundred life points to special summon another one from my hand or my deck. I choose my deck (Camille:500)." Another Venus entered the field. "Next I activate Machine Duplication's effect once more: I special summon as many copies in my hand as a monster on my field. I choose Venus." A third and final Venus appeared on the field. "I now tribute all three Venu's to tribute summon Malasyian Obelisk the Tormentor (4000/4000)."

Obelisk the Tormentor had now appeared in the three Venus's place.

"Looks like I get to have a reunion with the monster I beat." Nuo smirked.

"Laugh while you still can. Obelisk, attack Dragonmaid Ernus. Heaven's Harbringer!"

Obelisk rose his mallet to the sky, and then ran it down onto Ernus, giving her immense damage due to the impact.

Nuo:2600

"I end my turn."

Nuo drew one card. It wasn't his hand that would help him, it was his field and graveyard.

"I activate Dragonmaid Changeover's effect returning Dragonmaid Tinkhec to my hand to return it to my hand."

Tinkhec returned to the field, brandishing her scythes.

"I now activate Dragonmaid Changeover. I fuse my Dragonmaid Parlor with my Tyrant Dragon to summon Dragonmaid Strahal (3500)."

Strahal had ruddy, scaled red skin, and was equipped with a large rocket launcher-esque weapon.

"Impressive dragon." Camille admitted, then her lips turned into a smile only a predator would have. "Too bad my Obelisk is stronger."

"Your right. Dragonmaid Strahal, attack Obelisk!" The big dragon held its rocket launcher to its wrist ready to fire. "And during the battle phase, I discard Dragonmaid Tinkhec to increase Strahal's ATK by 2000 (5500). Your Obelisk is about to be smoked, sucker!"

Tinkhec opened fire, and soon the rocket launcher blasted several times, hitting Obelisk where it hurt. Camille's smile quickly turned into a grimace upon noticing this.

Just like when Ra was destroyed, he saw a strange memory appear in a white void. This time, the woman who came to be known as Camille's mother was eavesdropping on the Caucasian who was Camille's father.

"Two years of marriage and I only now know your plans." She said to herself.

She snuck back into the nursery where a baby Camille was crying. It seemed like she was going to contact someone.

"It's me. Infiltration is a success. I finally know what he's planning to do." Before she could say what it was, Camille cried loudly. "He's planning on flying to meet a god."

"I couldn't hear you." The voice on the other end said.

Right when she was going to say it again, the door to the nursery creaked open.

"He's planning on flying into space to meet a god!"

Camille's father, standing by the doorway, stood in shock completely surprised.

"My dear...? What are you doing?!" he asked.

"O-Oh ah...nothing," she replied.

"For a moment I thought you said I was going off to find a god in space...that is a very classified mission, and you just talked about it on the phone. Y-You are a spy, aren't you. This whole marriage...it's just been to dig dirt out of me."

This left her stunned, but she said, "Oh, I had been knowing your intentions since we wed."

"My intentions? You used me. And what's worse than using someone, you even went as far as having a child with me just to keep up this facade."

Camille's mother just chuckled, albeit in a rather dark tone.

That ended that hallucination. He expected the duel to be over since Camille had less than a thousand life points, but she was still standing.

Camille: 100

"By banishing Malasyian Soul of Purity, I can decreased the ATK of an attacking monster by 600."

"You usually tell people when you activate an effect so they can counter." Nuo looked at the kids sitting in a corner and smiled. "Everyone got that."

"Well, at least now I have enough Life Points to use Obelisk's effect: We both take 5500 points of damage."

"Not this time. When a monster effect is activated, I can return Strahal to my extra deck to negate that effect."

Strahal crouched in a cocoon position.

It's body glowed red like rubies before the humanoid maid exploded.

Camille was alone in a white void until she was in a playground with a sublime sky to gaze at. She was there seeing a young boy-looked like Nuo-hiding inside a playground set, his hands hugging his legs while he trembled about something in fear.
