Meanwhile back at the mansion, the master of the mansion opened the door to where he kept Lucy. "Well Lucy Dragneel, are you ready to go outside. It's been a few days. " he asked in the doorway for the room was dark and he could not see her. "Yes sir"she answered completely devoid of emotions. "hee hee"a mischievous sly grin appeared on his face. "You'll get your shot soon, come out of the shadows so we can get you ready"he gestured his hand towards the doorway leading her out. "Do you know who Natsu is?" he asked. "an enemy" "what about Nashi hmm?"he asked with more curiosity. "I will kill whoever you need me too"she answered aggressively. "Good, just one more thing, what about the Fairy Tail guild?" Without warned Lucy whipped herself around and with a single hard punch to the face, she brought one of the guards down. "They will be taken down"she said unsympathetic. "Let's get you out of those rags you've had since you came into something more fit for a solider. "yes sir" she answered as she followed him.
Back at the guild, Makarov had everyone doing research for any sign of Lucy anywhere. "Whoever this guy is, they sure as hell knew what they were doing"said Cana. "we won't give up, we will keep looking, everyone screws up at some point"pointed out Erza. "Thanks guys"said Natsu looking at everyone doing a part in trying to find her. "This is what we do my boy"said Makarov. "Don't worry Natsu,we will find her"said Mira optimistically. "Aye!" . "I've been communicating with other guilds, they haven't found a sign of her either but I'll let you know if that changes"said Warren. "daddy..I'm hungry"she tugged lightly on Natsu's pants causing him to look down. "Sorry Iggy, come on, let's find you something to eat." She held her arms up which Natsu took and picked her up holding her. "Hey Mira" he called light heartedly. "Yes"she answered cheery. "Can you please give Iggy something to eat?" "Absolutely., what do you want sweetheart?' "cake!" " Thanks Mira. Okay Nashi stay here and eat alright?" "I'm going to get back to work" "Uh huh, yes daddy" she said enthusiastically. It made him happy to see her smile. He kissed the top of her head while she ate. "Thank you little dragon for giving the encouragement to keep going" he thought as he got back to helping them research. "Natsu, did Lucy tell you anything about the guys when she was attacked " Makarov asked. "nope i wish she did, when i got there she was injured and the guys who attacker her were gone. " The memory of seeing her hurt after she was attacked came back to him irritating him causing him to growl in a very low voice. "Relax Natsu, we will find him" assured Makarov hearing the growl and looking at his disturbed body language. "damn right we will find him, that bastard and make him pay"thought Natsu.
Erza's communication lacrama went off as she answered it getting everyone's attention. "Hello?, oh hi sting, what is the news?, are you sure?" she got a surprise look on her face which intrigued everyone even more. "we will get a team and check it out, thanks" She hung up where Natsu before she could get any words out blurted "what's the news?" "Stinng said someone in his guild coming back from a job spotted a mansion out of the western forest that just appeared. Apparently this mansion has not been seen by anyone until just now"she answered with a hint of caution. "Who cares!, this could be the answer we are looking for" answered Natsu with intensity. "Let's go!"he exclaimed as Happy said "AYE" . "Now hold on"holding up a hand Makarov said " I know how much you want this to be the answer , but you can't go in blind, take a team with you"
"Gramps, come on you already know who I'm going to take with me. he he" He grinned as with earnest but energetic voice said "Erza, Gray and Happy, that's all i need" . "What about me daddy?" Nashi spoke out. "huh,Nashi?, you want to come too?"said Natsu. "Yup, I want to help get mommy back"she exclaimed. "hmm, okay"he went and got Nashi down from her chair brought her back to the group. "WHAT!" went Makarov. "bringing a child to battle, have you lost your mind" "Easy gramps I know what I'm doing" "we'll see: thought Erza and Gray glancing at each other. "and besides , she will be a good reason for Lucy to come back" Natsu boasted confidently. "ugh, I can already see you wont be deterred from this , just be careful and that goes for all of you" he said looking at Gray and Erza as well. "We hear you gramps, let's get Lucy back guys" said Gray. "you ready Happy!" "AYE SIRRRR" "I'M FIRED UP NOW!yelled both Natsu and Nashi. "Good Luck"said Makarov.
