"So what's the plan? We take these guys out and steal their boat?" Jesse asks as we jump down into a broken building to find a way down to the ground. The building has so many windows I can't help but look out at the rainy scenery.

"We're definitely taking their boat," Ellie says, "It's up to them if they want to get in our way."

Jesse sighs, "Hopefully it's a small crew."

"Knowing our luck it's not." I say and Jesse gives me a look. There's another Ruston Coffee in this building. I smile slightly when I find a bag of coffee beans. I grab it and put it into my bag for the trip home.

"This place is wrecked." Ellie comments as we jump down through a hole in the ceiling into the basement.

"You don't say." Jesse says. I smirk at this. We grab any supplies we can find before crawling into a small space to get to the other side. Ellie finds one of her cards on an old bookshelf that we have to jump over. She examines it quickly with a small smile before putting it into her backpack. When we jump over the dresser the only way through is by lifting up some pipes and old wreckage. Jesse and Ellie go to pick it up and I crawl through before grabbing it from the other side so Jesse can get through, then he helps me hold it up so Ellie can get through. When we're all on the other side we have to go swimming through the flooded damaged building.

"This way, come on." Jesse says as he dives under water. Ellie and I follow suit. We have to swim through a cramped area that feels like it will collapse on us at any moment. I try to move as quick as I can to both get out of this cramped space and because we're under water and I don't really feel like dying because I drowned. I see Jesse lift up out of the water and I relax and breath in fresh air again. This relaxing demeanour doesn't last long since we hear WLF soldiers and we see movement through the broken wall.

"Need a hand?" One of the WLF say, "Nah, I got it. The engine's being finicky." The other guy replies. We try to swim lightly so the guys won't hear us.

"Sniper sighted at the marina. I repeat, sniper sighted at the marina. Likely a trespasser." I turn to Ellie and Jesse, 'Tommy?' I mouth to them and they shrug. While the WLF soldiers are talking about their orders to stay, Jesse finds a rope and climbs up it, I motion for Ellie to go next and I go last. When I climb up I have to jump over a banister with Thomas Flynn written on it. When I'm over Ellie helps me down and motions for me to crouch. I go over to Jesse, but Ellie doesn't follow.

"Ellie." Jesse whispers to her as he looks out the giant hole in the wall. I look over at Ellie and she's staring at the WLF soldier who's struggling to start his boat. She comes over to us after Jesse waved her over, "We can get to the marina through here."

Ellie shakes her head and points at the boat, "No. We're taking their boat."

"You hear them right? They're talking about Tommy."

"We don't know that."

"Who else is it going to be?" Jesse questions.

"If it is him, he'll be gone by the time we get there. Abby is where he'll be headed, so if we just foll-" Jesse cuts Ellie off, "What if he's in trouble?" Ellie is quick with a reply, "He can take care of himself."

"Ellie." I say softly and she just looks at me. The need to go after Abby is clear in her eyes.

"Jesus Christ." Jesse sighs.

"The best way to help Tommy is to go after Abby." Jesse looks at Ellie with a menacing look, so she continues, "You do this, I'm not saving your ass again."

Jesse scoffs, "I really hope you make it." He says quietly. He turns around and looks towards the marina.

Ellie turns to me, "Lia-,"

"What happens if Abby isn't at the aquarium and Tommy gets hurt, or worse, what if he dies?" I ask her.

"He won't."

"And how would you know that?"

She just shakes her head, "I have to go. I have to." Ellie turns around and scouts the area over the banister. I just stay standing there and look between Ellie and Jesse. Ellie jumps down into the water and gets ready to take out the WLF below. I sigh- I know it's more right to get Tommy, but I can't let anything happen to Ellie. She's on this path that I don't like, but I understand. I need to stay with her and make sure she's okay.

"Go." Jesse tells me when I walk over to him.

"Jesse-"

"Make sure she doesn't do anything stupid, or gets herself killed. I can handle getting to Tommy. That way when I find him there will be two of us and there are two of you."

"I don't like this." I whisper to him.

"Me neither, but right now we don't have much of a choice. I'll go find Tommy and then we'll go to the aquarium."

"I can't stop her from doing anything stupid." I say softly.

"You're the only one that can try." Jesse tells me and he puts his hand on my arm, "Let's just try not to die while saving their asses."

"If so let's hope it's quick." I tell him with a soft smile. He returns it. It's actually kind of sad how morbid our humour is in this time.

"Let's hope it's quick. Good luck."

"You too. Now go save Tommy."

"Go save Ellie." Jesse says softly and he jogs out to find his way to the marina. I take a deep exhale before I go to the banister. I scout the area and spot Ellie pop out of the water and take out a WLF. I pull out my bow and launch arrows at a few WLF who are alone. When I see the area I want to go to is clear, I launch myself over the banister and fall into the icy water.
