Ch 24

The outcome

I reach a handout to Kimimaro as after a minute of hesitation he takes my hand as I helps us both back to our feet now." I know if you go to the leaf village you likely put into prison but I swear ill make sure you get the treatment you need, so please I know we just meet but I ask you trust me on this." I looks at him fully serious about what I just said to him now. Kimimaro looks into my eyes not seeing no hints of lies in them.
He nods at me, Kimimaro" very well then I shall put some trust in you Suki…thank you" he bows to me a bit as I just smiles at him" hey its fine don't worry." he stands up smiling a bit at me when he suddenly started coughing again as I gasps and puts my hands on him as they glow." at the moment I can't help much just to stable you for now till we get you some real treatment."

After a few minutes he stops and slowly calms down as I starts making hand signs and bites my thumb." Summoning Jutsu!" I put a hand on the ground as a poof of smoke appears as from its Aideen appears." Aideen could you please watch Kimimaro and lead him back to the village and help the others when you see them?" She nods looking at me. Aideen" got it but healing will be difficult without you there with me Suki."
I nods as I takes out my jar of chakra pills as I eats 4 now as I makes three shadow clones." there these clones can help with any healing needed for the others, they should have enough chakra." Aideen sees this and looks at me worried. Aideen" Suki taking too many chakra pills, mostly the ones you made is dangerous, your body cant handle that much chakra."

" I know but I have no choice, the others might need any healing I can do, ill deal with the back lash of this once I know everyone is ok, now please go and explain Kimimaro to them too." I tells her what I promise Kimimaro and not to harm him as she sighs and nods thinking I'm being too nice to another strange but she goes along with it." alright then thank you be safe ok I'm going on ahead."
Kimimaro, Aideen and my three clones heads back now as I takes a deep breath and heads on now to the boarder where I know Naruto and Sasuke are fighting as I hopes I can change the outcome of it somehow." I changed things before, I know it's possible…I just got to do what I can and hope for the best…at the very least..I'll make an impact…I hope." I shakes my head of any negative thoughts or doubts in my head as I charges forward.

While I was heading forward some of the others were struggling in their fights. But just when some were able to get killed the sand siblings show up. Kankuro helps out Kiba, Temari helps Shikamaru and instead of normal Gaara helps out Neji. Due to the change Neji wasn't as badly hurt as he could have been as with their help they were able to defeat their sound ninjas now.
Soon some medical ninjas show up to take Choji who still got badly injured. Soon Kimimaro, Aideen and my three clones show up as Aideen was stopping the others from harming Kimimaro. Each of my clones helps Kiba, Neji and Choji. The others were told the real me went ahead as the clones tell them what happened after Sasuke got out the coffin. Neji" you shouldn't be wasting so much chakra you tire yourself out."

" I don't wanna hear that from you getting injure Neji, good thing Gaara helped you, I'm grateful for you and your siblings help." I glance at him as I keeps healing Neji. Gaara" you have three clones doing med ninjutsu…how are you handling all this Suki?" I really don't wanna answer but knows ill have to." I know I do not have as much chakra as some of ye normally. So, what I did to help was make my own chakra pills to restore and enhance my chakra."
They pair listens to my clones impressed I could make something like that." One can normal restore lost chakra I used up. Eating more at a time gives my body more chakra times the normal amount." They hear this starting to get worried. Neji"…how many did you just consume then Suki" I sighs and takes a deep breath" I eat four at once…" they both gasps at this.

Gaara" wait isn't that dangerous for you?" I nods" yup…my body can handle so much chakra at once even if I make some many clones right after it does not matter. I'll be feeling the effects of so much later…" The others as my other clones as I give them all now the same answer as they were all shocked how I am putting myself at more risk. Even the medic with Choji are shocked too.
I shake my head." Lecture me all you want I know it was reckless. But I knew this mission had high stacks…if I didn't put my life on the line how could I lead other to do it themselves…I be a bad leader and ninja…" they all look at my clones still thinking I was being far too reckless with my actions." A person you abandoned the mission is scum…but those who abandon their friends are worse…"

They all looks confused by what I just said." Kakashi sensei thought me that…so I'm going to save my friends even if I have to suffer… because their worth it." I keeps healing them as the others see I won't stop even if they say too." After a bit everyone got stable and my clones vanish from using up all their chakra as Aideen stays to help how she can as real me soon arrives at the border.
I reached the valley of the end as dark clouds cover the sky over it as I looks around as I soon spot Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto was on the ground unconscious and Sasuke stands over looking down at him as his headband slowly slips off his forehead now but he doesn't even try to catch it as it heads the ground now the cut going across the symbol of the leaf on it now.

I sees this knowing Naruto will survive his injures as I jumps down running on across the water to them. Sasuke was able to hear someone come as he slowly lifts his head to see who it was. He sees its me but his not to shocked I came too. He doesn't look happy as he just had a dull blank face as he glances back down again as I soon gets to them now as I was panting abit feeling the effects of the chakra pills.
I grin and bear it for now as I looks at Sasuke then Naruto as I grips my fist as I slowly walks up to Sasuke now. His head suddenly turns to the side now as I had punched him on the face as hard as I could. I wasn't enough to knock him down but enough to leave a stinging sensation on his cheek as he was slowly going red a bit as he turns his head facing me again seeing how exhausted I look and tears building up in my eyes.

Sasuke"…Suki" I glares at him" don't Suki me! Do you have any idea what you caused!...the panic and worry…just all for power…to go to that snake!...are you stupid? I know your smarter then this Sasuke…you know you have a choice in the path you walk! Don't go acting like you don't have options!..." I yells at him as I remembers from my clones the injures of the others got from fighting.
" I was a leader on the recovery team…. I asked those I picked to come get you back…. They could of said no but they didn't… they wanted to get you back, as much as me and Naruto..your teammates wanted you back!..." I looks down at Naruto as I knees down checking his vital signs as I stands back up breathing a sigh of relief." He will be alright… though doesn't seem you care."

Sasuke doesn't say I word at all looking at me as I looks back at him seeing how exhausted and hurt he is."…. is this what you wanted… are you really ok with this… Sasuke I'm serious you take this path… and things will just get worse…so many will turn your back on you… many could want you dead…are you happy knowing that?" I knows I can't tell him what happens in his future, but I hopes this would work.
Still no talk as I grows angrier with the silence now." Well? You going to say something…come on…you damn Uchiha you're such a stupid idiot!..." I look at you as you are now glancing slightly down not making eye contact with me. "serious I insult you to your face and you just stand there? Where that fire in you, were the great Uchiha I know you are..where the stuck up Sasuke I know who is kind too!"

I takes some deep breaths as my where shaking as I was starting to get a headache form the effects now as I put a hand on my head."…I might pass out soon… I might not be able to stop you…but please just listen… your going down a very dark and lonely path…Orochimaru will not make you stronger… killing Itachi will bring you nothing but more sorrow… please don't go so far you go blind from darkness...open them up and see the light!"
I takes more deep breaths as I feels my legs wobble close to giving out as I nearly fall over. But, Sasuke catches me as I puts a hand on his should for support."…see..their still kindness… please don't throw that away Sasuke…don't go blind to the light…" I weep more tears for him as Sasuke pulls me into a hug now as I wraps my arms around him still in pain now but ignores it for now.

Sasuke"…..Suki, thank you for everything…" I lifts my head up form his shoulder to look at him and to say something, but I am stopped cold now. At that moment, my brain just freezes up completely, as Sasuke Uchiha has done something that I would never image he do to me of all people. He just kisses me right on the lips now. This kiss last for only a moment with Sasuke eyes closes and mine were open in shock as I don't move.
Soon Sasuke pulls back opening his eyes as at this moment is when the pain gets too much and with so little chakra left I start to slowly fall down. Sasuke caught me and laid me down as he was saying something, but my vision got blurry as I don't actually hear what he said as I pass out. Sasuke"….I love you Suki.. I have for a long time…goodbye.." he looks at me then Naruto as it started to rain.

Time passes as by the time Kakashi got their as he went with the medics and saw what was going on as Aideen told him where I was going before she poofed away when I passed out as he saw just me and Naruto passed out. Me exhausted and Naruto injured, but no Sasuke in sight. He jumps down as he makes a clone to put each of us on his back to head back. Kakashi feels regretful for not doing more.
He heads back to the village with us both as everyone else gets back too now. Kimimaro got taken in for question but will receive treatment for his illness on my behalf. Kiba, Neji and Choiji will have to stay in the hospital for a bit to rest but will make full recovers. Naruto got hurt up but will be fine as I just need some rest. But still this means that mien and Shikamaru first mission as being leaders was a failure.

Few days have passed as everyone was now out of the hospital now and doing good. Gaara and his siblings taught at the academy as me and Shikamaru asked them as we were a bit understaffed as us two and all the kinds thanks them before they leave at the gate." Thanks, you guys for all your help were really happy for it all." Smiles as all the kids thanks the." Shikamaru" yea you really did a big favour for us we owe you."
Temari" it's our pleasure I did enjoy teaching those little kids. Don't worry we cash in on the favour just try not to get in a pinch again too soon." She laughs a bit as I laugh a bit rubbing the back of my head. Shikamaru" geez you girls are all the same, always got to get the last laugh." I elbow Shikamaru a bit for the comment. Kankuro" well these kids are the future ninjas of the leaf, it was a nice thing to do, we should go now."

Gaara looks at me. Gaara" Suki how are you and Naruto doing?" I look at him." Oh, were doing fine, sadly down a teammate team seven cannot do missions without someone else with us. But don't be so worried for us we just got to get stronger than we can go get Sasuke back and for sure the next time." Smiles as Gaara nods happy to see I'm back to my old self now as the three all take off back home as we waves them off.
In a few more days Pervy-sage talked to Naruto about training for three years but he wasn't sure about it. Thinking he does not have time. Pervy-sage also tells him orochimaru can only take Sasuke body in the next three years, so he does have time. However after talking to Tsunade pervy-sage had to trick Naruto into training alone as he had to do a mission of gather information on the Akatsuki.

This puts Naruto in a big sulk as he tried to bug Tsunade to go look for Sasuke but I tells him to get stronger and do missions while pervy-sage is gone. This works but I know not forever. In the past few days, I train under Tsunade in medical ninjutsu and some hand to hand combat too. But I also train on my own as after a bit of focusing chakra I summons out not Aideen or Assan but their father.
Alaric, ruler of the forest of Tivona. I look up at him and smiles." Hey Alaric, been a while now how you been?" he lowers his head down looking at me. Alaric" greetings Suki, it is good to see you again. I have heard many of the things you have done from my children. You have come along way." I smile rubbing the back of my head." Aww thanks I am glad to know I'm slowly getting stronger."

Alaric" yes, I did also hear of that recently happened involving your teammate. I hope you're not blaming yourself fully on the outcome." I lose my smile and glance down." Well yea a bit I am, I just thought he change his mind…" still feels bad that everyone got hurt and we ended up failing the mission. Alaric" still you can be proud no one had died on your mission Suki. Be proud of that then." I look at him and smiles.
" Ok then thanks Alaric. But I did not summon you for a reason. I need to get a lot stronger. I'm training with Tsunade, for med ninjutsu and soon strength…but I feel I need more then that." He looks at me and thinks a bit. Alaric" so you wish to grow more powerful then? What is your reason?" I grips my fists" so I can protect those I care for. I know things are going to get tougher. So, I wanna be prepared so I don't lose someone else and I can protect and do more for others."

Alaric" I see, so you want get stronger to protect others then? Very well I know I way you can get stronger, but like many things it comes with a catch." I hears this as I looks at him determined." I know things come with catches and risk, but I am ready for it. please tell me Alaric." He nods at me. Alaric" very well I am not the only adult peryton in my forest. I have two sisters. Beatha the life Peryton and Willow the wilt peryton."
I hear this never hearing of them before." Life and wilt, is that like life and death?" Alaric nods. Alaric" indeed both are very powerful in their own ways, but in the wrong hands their powers are very dangerous, training with them will be much different then with my children. I will not be easy Suki." I nod." I know I figured it wouldn't but I'm really for the challenge ahead of me."
