Chapter 32 - Diary Entries
Reminder: If you don't like the story, I rather you leave it alone than nitpicking flaws without giving proper criticism. This story is mostly for fun, just writing whatever my brain conjures up. Getting it out of my system, if you will.
So if you don't like it, leave it alone. I'm taking criticism (something that points out flaws and praises on certain aspects so I know my strengths and weaknesses,) but it's mostly for myself to improve for when I choose to make my own story world from scratch.
April 1, 2006. Saturday
Hello Diary! Long time to see. Primus. I'm glad Miko got me this notebook, now I can start doing this again. And no parents to snoop in you either. I mean, there's Fowler but he's usually too busy.
What's there to say...Oh yeah! This has been a great birthday! I mean, it's my sweet 16, only the best birthday to have. I just wish they could've been here, but I know they were in their own way. Getting away from that mushy stuff, the bots came for my birthday! Only for a few hours though, they still have a planet to revive. Smokescreen wouldn't stop referring to me as "The Mother of Cybertron" the whole time. I was so close to killing him, but Bee stopped me.
I guess I also have a lot of catching up to do since my last entry, which I couldn't find in the former base.
Jasper has officially be deemed a ghost town. Nobody lives there anymore and nobody plans on rebuilding it. So most people moved to the town next over, including Fowler and the others. Jack, Miko, Raf, and I got enrolled to the highschool in November, and so far it's pretty nice, but definitely sticking with them. Unlike myself, Miko found a whole group of people interested in Slash Monkey, Monster Trucks, etc. She mostly hangs with them, and changed A LOT. Her hair is shorter than mine, her makeup got dark, and her clothing is super punk.
Jack found a couple of friends himself, even confessed to Sierra back in February on Valentine's day. I'm not supposed to tell anyone but the two started dating a week after. But if you ask me, they're the worst at being discreet.
Raf still hangs with me, we even got a class together. But he hangs with his club friends. Yes, he's in an actual club now, multiple actually.
Out of the group, I'm the loner. But that's how I like it. I still don't like making friends, I rather keep the ones I got.

Wow, I forgot this existed, whoopsies.
Nothing much is new...
I lied, I'm in tears right now.
Jack is already off in college and hasn't talked to us for the longest time, Raf's moving into another state, and Miko is going back to Tokyo in the summer since she's graduating this year. So much for grade 11 being my year...
And the bots, I don't know what's going on with them. Ratchet's the only one here and even he is busy. With what is something I'm trying to figure out. The others are just like Jack, no contact whatsoever. I tried calling them but they either didn't answer or did but said they were busy and couldn't talk before hanging up. This sucks...
June 30, 2007. Saturday
Just said goodbye to Miko at the airport. We both cried like babies, but I think she cried mostly because she's leaving America. Still no word from the bots, they must really be busy up there. I think I'll go visit them this week, Ratchet is planning to so why not join him?
Jack called me yesterday, we had a pretty good chat. He told me he's thinking of accepting Fowler's request of becoming an Agent after he's done college. I told him he should go for it. Raf, Miko, and I are already planning on it. It's obvious for Miko, Raf wanted to work a government job anyway, and I have no idea what I could do career wise. But I'm prepared for the loneliest summer and school year ever.
July 4, 2007. Wednesday
Just came back from Cybertron, and boy does it look different. There are so many Cybertronians from both sides there already! Ultra Magnus and Smokescreen are in charge of making sure everyone knows the war is over (Or at least staying off Cybertron) and that no fights will break out. But one pair ignored that today, and it got nasty real quick.
Asides from that, a lot of buildings are still in progress of being finished but they look so good right now! And there's already a lot finished. Plus the debris is all gone and roads are pretty functional.
No sign of Shockwave, Starscream, or Megatron. But as long as Cybertron is safe and everyone has a home to go to, that's all that matters.
I also forgot I was still 15 in the Cyber-form. Guess my human form is 2 years ahead now.
OH! HOW COULD I FORGET TO MENTION THIS!?
I got to see my aunt and uncle, Ironhide and Chromia! Apparently they're sparkmates and they have the cutest 5-year-old (in Cybertronian of course, but it's not that different from the time of a human year). I actually have a cousin! His name is Axeljaw but I call him AJ. Sweetest thing ever, it was tempting to snatch him and run. I better be his favourite cousin, what am I talking about, I'm pretty sure I'm his only cousin.

So I officially decided to go to college. An alien, going to college, never heard of that before. I ended up taking courses to become an Astronomer. Mostly because I know that stuff already, I can point things out to the noobs if I get a job as one, and I just wanted to experience college. Thanks to Fowler and the government, I got a scholarship. It didn't cover my campus fees but I got that under control. Yes, I got a part time job where my college is.
I am making life harder than it needs to be, I know. But this is my home, and though Cybertron looks like a nice option, I'm not taking the easy route to my existence.

OMG GUYS! MIKO CAAMMEE!
Ok ok, it's been a couple of years since I last wrote and a lot happened but I have to tell you this first!
Miko has been working a whole bunch back in Tokyo and she got enough money to move here! She surprised attacked me on my campus after class with a hug from behind. I will say, I started tearing up after seeing her. She called up Jack and Raf before, now we're going out for a drink. Raf is only 17, turning 18 this year though. But we'll make sure he gets the full experience.
Plus, I'm visiting the Buffalo gang next week! So far, this year has been amazing!

I'm home now. Today was blast!
Jack announced to us that he was planning on proposing to Sierra this summer! Yeah, they're still a couple, and a cute one at that~.
We managed to sneak Raf a drink, but he spat it out after taking a sip. Not much of an alcohol guy. But Miko got super wasted. I only had a few, same with Jack.
Speaking of Miko, she wanted to meet me somewhere tomorrow. She wouldn't tell me why, maybe cause she was as drunk as a skunk. Who knows. Jack got a taxi, saying he'd take her home. Guess I'll find out soon.
April 2, 2010. Friday
I cannot stop blushing. Ok ok, let me tell you. This is so exciting.
Ok so, I took a cab to Miko's place, nice apartment by the way, then she took me to a nearby park. We sat on the grass for a bit, talking and fooling around. Then she brought up the real reason why she wanted to meet me. She told me she finally figured out her answer. When I asked what she meant, she reminded me of the moment back at the Hangar. Back when I told her I liked her. Then she said she felt the same!
She said she figured it out one day after dating some douche guy.
Now we're going on a date next Friday! But we saw a problem so we decided to go to Canada. I had to ask Ratchet if we could use the groundbridge while avoiding the reason why. He seemed fine with it and continued his work.
I also found out what the frag he's been doing, finally. He's been learning a lot about humans so he can supply information about our kind to the government. It's more of a translation sort of thing than having interest in humans, but I can tell he's enjoying it.
I just can't wait for Friday!

Forgot about this book, again.
Uh, a lot happened, again xD.
I graduated college early this year, I'm finally working with Jack, Miko, and Raf after holding it off for so long, Miko and I decided to start dating, and we moved into our own place on the countryside. The nearest city is called Crown City, weird name if you ask me.
For the job, Raf is our tech guy, Miko is the brawn, Jack's the leader, and I'm the new liason. We're all liasons but I'm the official one. Agent Fowler made us our own little team when it came to anything, but we work with others as well. What do I know, I've only been here for a month. But it's turning out pretty awesome so far!

I did it. I proposed to Miko and she said yes! I am the happiest human/Cybertronian in the galaxy! We're planning on telling the others sometime next month, wonder how they'll react. Especially Ratchet and the bots, if the bots pick up. If they don't, I'll just have to go myself and tell them.
I'm too excited right now to write anymore!
August 9, 2016. Tuesday
So we decided it was time, and I figured out a way to make it possible between us, considering we're both females. I'm not gonna get into details but now we got company joining us in 8 months :). Guess we have to postpone our wedding day, but we're ok with that. Only because we didn't plan it all out quite yet.
We told everyone this and the wedding news, except the bots. Nothing but happiness. Though I think Ratchet ceased functioning for a few minutes both times. But when he came back to reality, he was happy. Didn't show it a lot, but I could tell.
Time to see what happens now. Wait, I have an idea of what, an emotional Miko. Wonder what strange cravings she'll soon get.
April 4, 2017. Tuesday
Miko and I are so overwhelmed, it's finally time and we don't know what to feel. Nervous, excited, scared, overjoyed?
I dunno but she's surprisingly keeping her cool around doctors and nurses. I'm hella nervous because of them. Yes, we found out its twins, both girls since there was no Y chromosome. We got names and everything. But it's how they were made that frightens me. Are they human? Half human and half Cybertronian like Raina was? Surly not fully, that's just insane and impossible.
Let's just hope they're healthy!

Miko's asleep and I came back from visiting our little Leona and Teresa. Yep, that's their names. But we already plan on calling them Lightning and Thunder more often.

I can't believe it still, it feels so surreal. They're gonna hear plenty of stories from Miko and I, we'll make sure of it. Just wish they could see my side of the family, but their grandparents are gone and the others are on Cybertron. I wonder what they do sometimes...

These rascals have been a handful, and I mean it. Well, mostly Leo cause she's basically 15-year-old Miko in a nutshell. Tera is more calm and reserved, which is shocking for a 2-year-old. But if given the chance, she'll be just as crazy as her sister.
Miko and I joke all the time how they took each other's eyes in the womb because they have heterochromia (Two different coloured eyes). Yellow brown-ish and cyan.
I managed to catch a break thanks to Ratchet. Miko is on tour with her small band and I got left with them
Right, so Miko and I are now part time Agents. Jack and Raf plan on doing the same. The bots kinda left and never talked with us again. Now we're all looking to live our own lives, move on from our childhood. Even I stopped wearing my crystal 5 years ago. It feels like being 8 all over again, maybe something will come and take it all away too.
Ok woah, I got kinda dark there...oops. Humans and their emotions, as some would say xD.
But picking up, Miko has taken up her old hobby and joined a small band. They're doing pretty good now and barley stay in one spot. As for myself, I took up the Astronomer job. I love it and I've made some good friends.
I better get going now, Leo looks like she's really testing Ratchet's patience. Bye!
(Riley's POV) (Diary Entries are over!) (One Month Later)
"Ratchet! You there? I tried calling but..." I looked up from my cell and around the Hangar. It looked super empty, boxes everywhere and sheets covering the tech except one monitor.
"Ratchet?" I called out again. Good thing I decided to wear this today. I went into Cyber-form, feeling my maturity level slowly change to 15-year-old me.
I went over to the monitor and powered it on. The first thing that popped up was a message from Ratchet.
Riley,
I hope you see this message, or you'll be wondering forever of my whereabouts. Cybertron has a council once more, and they decided I'm best suited there. I agreed. There wasn't any time to inform you so I left this message here instead during my pack up.
You are doing great and I wish for you to continue living your life with or without me or Team Prime. Over the past 14 years, we definitely grew closer, and I will admit you seemed like my own a few times. We've been there for each other, you grew up too fast, and everything is changing around everyone. So don't worry about me, and don't forget to visit or I'll come and personally give you the 'Ratchet Treatment', as everyone calls it.
While I'm at it, I apologize for being the grumpy one. I will never admit it and I'm shocked I'm writing it now, but just making sure you know.
Tell those kids to find better hobbies than to bother an old bot, would ya?

"That doesn't sound like him, but also does." I laughed slightly, wiping the lubricant off my face.
I typed at the old keys of the computer, seeing if that part was true. It was, everything was still there. But he left, now everyone has gone back to Cybertron. I'm last man standing. Some days, I wish things went back to the way things were.
Something I still couldn't believe however, was that Cybertron had a council again. Let's hope this time it doesn't go corrupt and a group of Cybertronians rise up, only for them to get pushed down by another group and everyone has to suddenly pick a side or they die. I didn't go through the trouble of seizing a warship, then going through a dangerous asteroid zone to get the Allspark, just for that to happen!
Knowing the others, I knew I wasn't going to see or hear from Ratchet anytime soon. So might as well say goodbye right now and put my entire Cybertronian life to an end.
The kids were still young enough, they wouldn't remember Ratchet. Even if they did, they'll think it's a dream or part of their imagination. When I get home, I'll tell Miko.
For Lightening and Thunder, there's no such thing as aliens or Cybertron. If I'm going to put them behind me, and after this treatment of silence, what other choice do I have? I'm mad at them, they don't have an excuse. Cybertron must be done by now, by the amount of time they spend on it and the hundreds of bots and cons returning. And now they have a council. If your gonna put something behind you, you have to get it all behind you.
The only thing I'm worried about, is those two sharing their unique abilities with the world. By terms, they're techno-organics. The first of humans, actually. It's already showing and they aren't even in school yet. I'm sure there's a way to hide it. Last thing we need is for crazy guys at our doorstep knowing about them. I won't suppress, but mask it from power hungry eyes.
"Guess I better get back home before Miko starts texting about needing my help." I changed back before putting my crystal back in my bag. When I get home, it's going in our personal safe, just cause I won't be needing it anymore.
