I was shocked with what Weiss said. there was a giant Godzilla like Grimm out there and they have just ruined the only thing capable of stopping it. We quickly got on an airship and fled the place where they fought Cordovin.
as we were fleeing Cordovin was yelling that this was our fault. when we got away from that sight we made our way to where the godzilla like Grimm was and the army of Grimm was attacking Argus.
It was silent for a while but then Blake spoke up, "I'm so sorry" Blake said. "don't be. this isn't on you" Yang said. "But..." Blake started but was interrupted by my sister Ruby. "your safe. That's all that matters" Ruby said.
Ruby smiled at Blake, and Blake smiled back. Ruby and Blake then hugged each other. I rested my head on Yangs shoulder.
Yang and I hugged, then kissed. "Are you gonna be okay baby?" Yang said. "yeah I think so. I just don't know if I will be able to sleep,
tonight" I said. "well, you can always come sleep with me" Yang said. "yeah I know but Scar won't allow it" I said. I was about to say something,
else when my nephew Simba approached me. I held Yang's hand as I was still scared of him for what he did to me. Yang put protective arms,
around me and her eyes were glowing red. she glared at him. "do you...need something Simba?" I said a bit nervous.
I could see regret in his eyes. "yeah...I just wanted to say I'm sorry Aunt Lana...for hurting you the way I did. I was just angry because,
we knew that we couldn't defeat Salem and I put the blame on you but it wasn't you it was Ozpin's fault for hiding this from us. I'm sorry" Simba said.
"It's...It's okay Simba" I said. Jaune walked up to us too. "I'm sorry for scaring you also Lana, I should have known better when you were around.
I just forgot that you were afraid of yelling because I was so angry" Jaune said. "It's okay" I said. I then hugged both Simba and Jaune.
after we hugged Maria spoke up, "I guess I am gonna have to be the bad guy and say it. getting the lamp to Atlas is still our top priority.
and right now we have the perfect opportunity to head straight for it. we may not get another chance like this" Maria said. "no way" Yang said.
"we can't leave, not like this" Weiss said. "It's like you said, a huntress is supposed to protect others to the bitter end" Blake said. Maria looked at us and smiled. Ruby shrugged her shoulders. "we need to head for the,
Leviathan. Jaune can you and Ren mask our ship?" Ruby said. "I think we can manage" Ren said. "got a few ideas?" Jaune said. "I've got one" Ruby said. "eyes up everybody. It's back" Uncle Qrow said.
we looked and saw the Leviathan appeared out of the water. shields went up to protect Argus. The Leviathan breathed fire and broke through one of the shields. Then an officer on the radio spoke up, "It tore straight through.
all squadrons fall back to evacuation procedures, disengage Leviathan I repeat disengage over" the officer said. "No wait!"
Ruby yelled. "Ruby!" we all yelled. "we can stop it!" Ruby said. "who is this? identify yourself" the officer said. "I am a huntress. my team and I,
are heading to the Leviathan and can weaken it for you to attack" Ruby said. there was a moment of silence. "we can?" Weiss said.
"I can" Ruby said. we all gasped. "Ruby, when I said trial by fire" Maria said but Ruby cut her off. "I did it at beacon and at the farm" Ruby said.
"you really think you can do it now?" Weiss said. "I don't have a choice" Ruby said. "manta 5-1 your ship is currently flagged as hostile,
you will receive no support, over" the officer said on the radio. "fine then we will do it alone if we have to. we can hit it while it stops,
at the next barrier. Ren your up" Ruby said. Ren and Jaune then began to mask the ship as we continued to fly towards the Leviathan.
we were too close to it and it spat fire at us. "were too late, pull up!" Uncle Qrow cried. Maria pulled up as we nearly missed the fire. the Leviathan,
broke the last shield and knocked down a building. Jaune and Ren ran out of energy to keep going. "Damn it" Jaune cursed. "that's all I got" Ren said.
"it's on the move again, we need to stop it" Blake said. "what do we do?" Yang said. "I can summon a lancer. then I can get Ruby to the,
Leviathan" Weiss said. "sounds good to me" Ruby said. "I will come with incase anything goes wrong" I said. "Lana no, it's too dangerous" Mufasa said. "yeah, you need to stay back here where it is safer" Ahadi said.
I sighed. I was getting annoyed with my family treating me like a little kid all the time. "No. I am not a little kid anymore guys. and besides I signed up for this job and I need to do it without my family holding me back" I said.
My family was shocked with how stubborn I was. "you know she does have a point" Nala said. "Yeah. Lana is 18 now and we need to let her do her job" Sarabi said. Uru nodded in agreement. "It's time we should,
start letting her do things on her own without us around all the time. don't you think Ahadi?" Uru said. Mufasa and Ahadi stayed silent for a minute.
Then Ahadi spoke up, "yeah you guys are right" Ahadi said. "just be carful Lana" Mufasa said. "yeah I know" I said. "good luck" Sarabi said.
Weiss then summoned her Lancer. Ruby and I then jumped out of the ship and got on the Lancer Weiss summoned. the Lancer was icicle white.
Weiss was guiding us to the Leviathan. "you can do this. you have to do this" Ruby said. we then came face to face with the Leviathan.
Ruby closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Ruby took her ear peace out because it was distracting her. she threw it out into the ocean.
Ruby then closed her eyes as she was thinking of flashbacks. I could hear Ruby whimpering during the process. I placed my hands on her shoulders,
to comfort her. Ruby then opened her eyes and gasped. we were awfully close to the Leviathan. "No no no no" Ruby said. she reached for the lamp.
"JINN!" Ruby and I screamed as the Leviathan roared. then time stopped. Ruby and I gasped. "I'm sorry. I don't have a question for you.
I just... I just needed a little more time" Ruby said. We turned to look at Jinn. "I know" Jinn said with a bit of anger in her voice. "and,
while you don't seek knowledge, just this once I shall give it freely" Jinn said. "I will not allow you to use me without a question again" Jinn said,
with a serious tone. Jinn then smiled at us. "even if this was clever" Jinn said. Ruby and I nodded. Ruby then went back to concentrating. After a minute she opened her eyes. silver white stuff was shooting out of her eyes.
When the silver white stuff disappeared the Leviathan turned to stone. everyone cheered. we then heard stone cracking. we turned to see the Leviathan's head broke free from the stone. Ruby and I gasped.
"no" Ruby said. "I will take it from here" A voice said. we then turned to see Cordovin in her robot charging towards the Leviathan. "after all" Cordovin said. "I was sworn to protect my people!" Cordovin said. Ruby and I smiled.
with the working right arm she stabbed the Grimm and defeated it with a big drill. the Grimm disappeared. Everyone cheered. Cordovin then walked up,
to us. the window of the robot opened and Cordovin stood before us. "thank you" Ruby said. "and I'm sorry" Ruby said.
"the Atlas military can handle the stragglers" Cordovin said. "what are you saying?" I said confused. Cordovin smiled at us. "I'm saying,
I don't think anyone would notice if one more ship went missing in my lengthy report" Cordovin said. Ruby and I smiled. Cordovin then closed her window,
of the robot and Cordovin ran towards the Grimm. Weiss then guided us back to the ship. when we got back everyone greeted us,
with excitement. "that was amazing!" Nora said as Ruby and I climbed in the ship. "I guess this means your not a little kid anymore Lana"
Mufasa said. "nope. I'm a grown adult now" I said with a smile. Yang walked up to me and hugged me. she then gave me a kiss.
"great job today sweetie" Yang said. "Thanks babe" I said. I then yawned. "you must be tired" Yang said. "yeah it has been a long day" I said.
"here you can rest on my shoulder" Yang said. "Okay thanks" I said. Yang and I then sat down.
I rested my head on Yang's shoulder and fell in a deep sleep.
